  • I grew up and worked aboard a shrimp boat tour as a guide that also boiled the fresh shrimp for a tasting for passengers. One day a passenger asked "if the mantis shrimp tasted any good?". So i tossed it in the pot with the shrimp. It boils and turns purple instead of pink like shrimp but taste legit taste like 50%shrimp 50%lobster. Its is now my favorite seafood.

    • Aren't they kinda dangerous?

      @DorothyDollLee@DorothyDollLee3 жыл бұрын
    • @@DorothyDollLee The ones we caught were typically less that 6 inches and at worst would hook you with their "javelins" and fold their tail under and use the sharp points on their tail to cut you. Our local shrimpers called them "Thumbsplitters" as they looked enough like a normal shrimp until you pick it up in a hurry to cull the catch and it "splits your thumb open". But if you're careful you can handle them without the bloodshed.

  • 5:02 This weird alien thing is a species of bristle worm, specifically a "Chloeia Flava". It’s actually upside down while you filmed it. If it was right side up you would see it has a cool spotted pattern on its back. These worms have needle-like hairs or bristles on its back too and are venomous. They often let themselves drift along with the tidal current. Handling this worm with your bare hands is a bad idea, even a light brush across the worm will cause the bristles be attached onto your hand similar to a cactus. It'll definitely hurt and if you get stung, it's often more than once at a time too. Cool find none the less!

      @PlayDuhFish@PlayDuhFish4 жыл бұрын
    • @@PlayDuhFish no garlic is a bulb of a plant that adds Aromatics and flavor and butter is milk byproduct that is a fat and adds flavor not seasoning though. Salt and pepper are what you would technically call seasonings in a professional kitchen. One last thing you're just upset because they made these 2 morons look foolish. And called them out on some pretty obvious shit including adding corn to seafood. I'm sorry that wasn't love potion that was a huge mistake. We went to the hospital on Thursday and he was admitted to the pediatric icu where we stayed through Saturday. Good news is that it's not leukemia, but he might have to have blood and platelet transfusions from now on and he may need a bone marrow transplant too. @tkammerola9325@tkammerola93253 жыл бұрын
    • @@tkammerola9325 Well, either satan is more powerful than god, or god are allowing satan to do what he wants. Where we come from every one in the gang goes to jail, not just the member who pulled the trigger. The bible tells us that our path are set at birth, god puts tests in our way. Why should we jail the persoon who god uses to test us? It is the double standard, If you survive being gang raped and having your throat slit half way through, then we praise god for the miracle he performed, but if you die, then god standing by and doing nothing is not held accountable. That is not how our legal system works nor is it logical. Who created the tsunami? who could have prevented the sunamo? we call it acts of god, but we dont see the evil in the act. god knows everything that will happen to you before you are created. he is yesterday, today and tomorrow. Yet he lets a baby get borne to a woman who kills it at birth and then that person who was "borne in sin" and was not baptized, will burn an eternity in hell. So now the bible fails our logic and we start to chose which parts are real and which are metaphorical. So, who created the tsunami? jesus or god? should I get an eye for an eye? or turn the other cheek?
