Sure, it's not perfect, but it's a huge improvement from the garbage that was sword and sheild, and it's DLC. And you act as if criticism is a bad thing. All games need criticism, pokemon more than almost any other. Pokemon is the highest grossing media franchise. And this is the first time in years that they're truly listening.

Sorry but u wont be having battle's of that nature in the game. The game so far is advertised to be a catch them all game to complete Pokedex. No trainer battles or gyms or elite 4. To me this game is a huge missed opportunity for the pokemon company and a major let down. It has the potential but with out that concept being included it's a waste. Hopefully pokemon games in near future will take these graphics and incorporate it into the game.

Also you are wrong on it not being a Pokemon game with out trainer battles. Not all pokemon games are battle related. This game is heavily focused at least thru advertising so far as a Pokemon researcher type of play style. It clearly shows that. No gyms have been talked about nor shown, nor trainer battles. So yes as far as what we know so far my claim as you call it is pretty darn accurate. Do I like the concept absolutely not. I prefer trainer battles and gyms and such. To heck with trying to catch them all I could care less. I have been playing Pokemon games the day that pokemon first came out and have seen how they advertise and they always are very clear when showing a new game. Love the graphics and the idea behind the game but it needs to have trainer battles and gyms battles and even a elite 4 of some type. The game could be so much more. Only time will tell as we get closer to the release date. It could be they are just teasing it as of right now but the way there showing it, it doesn't look like it will be that way.

I couldn't help but smile... hearing that gen 4 music. Graphics, Seals, underground, union room, and especially the Pokemon following you! ...things are looking good for the Remakes. Legends is looking really good. I admit I had grin on my face the entire time, especially with that Luxray :) Too many things too say.

They knew what they were doing showing off the underground hideaways with a Houndoom, given the absolute drought of fire types in the original Sinnoh games.

I remember playing X and in Victory Road where that lady who healed you was coming up. I was conditioned to think, "Oh crap, I only have two Full Restores and a single Revive. I'm screwed, but let's just get this battle out of the way." Imagine my surprise when the thing goes, "I'm here to heal your Pokemon!" I miss the blacked out moments, because it really made us better Pokemon players.
I like that legends isn't just "go beat the 8 gym leaders and become champion". It seems to have a lot more emphasis on filling out the pokedex and learning about the pokemon in the region, and I actually feel inclined to. (I've never filled out the pokedex before)
The newest Trailer about Arceus is a Laughing Stock for Programmers and Grafic Designers. If we buy this new Game despite it being ridiculously lazily made again; signs that once again, just like with Sword and Shield, people warn other people to not overlook, its gonna get worse with the Franchise. GF listens to no Feedback if we all just buy their Games without any Reason or Thought.

I’m very impressed with Pokémon arceus. That’s how a Pokémon game should be. It’s been to long but finally they look like they did an amazing job with that title
Agreed, it looks fresh and interesting. I just hope they allow it to be a game that gives us challenge back. Not Dark Souls or Sekiro challenge, but just some semblence of challenge like older Pokemon used to be. Let this start a trend of a seperation of Pokemon games that are serious vs casual, much like Zelda to Marios relationship. Please, dont let us down...

Actually, Pokèmon was always dark. You really should try to read Pocket Monsters manga... especially Red/Green/Blue.

@@thantzawhlaing1281 A) they never said it wasnt B) as someone who has read the manga it's not that dark. it's got a slightly older target audience than most of the rest of the franchise, young teens and older as opposed to children and older, but if you compare it to other stuff aimed at that group it's fairly tame in comparison. Most of the things of it being "super dark" are people taking parts of it out of context. C) red blue green isn't even the darkest part of the manga, and it's certainly not it's best either.

I love how they actually explained the danger of going into tall grass without a Pokemon. But I wish that you could actually ride on top of Braviary because that would be cool. You should also be able to ride other Pokemon like Rapidash and hopefully its really fast like the og anime stated.

I can still remember being in the store, holding the Diamond version and asking my mom to buy it for me and my bigger sis helping me trying to convince her! It was my first self owned Pokemon game, before that I always had to play on my sisters game - had to restart a file every time not to overwrite her game. I have so many memories of Pokemon, it's the franchise closest to my heart ❤️ And with Sinnoh being my favorite region I'm going to have a blast 🥰

I remember exactly how I felt, how it smelled outside as I played Platinum on the porch.. I was so young back then. Pokémon will forever have a special place in my heart. I’ll always be excited, and I hope Detective Pikachu and Galaxy DX can get a revamp on the Switch.
They freaking ruined the game. The chibi characters are so unfitting towards the game considering the epic proportions of the legendary Pokemon surrounding the story etc. Otherwise it looks good.. it's really a shame :-(.

I started loving Pokémon in 2019. Lockdown has given me time to learn more about it. It is such an iconic game and now I share the amount of excitement as other people when new games and news are released!

I’m starting to think Potions won’t be a thing in Legends: Arceus, it would make sense because of the era the game is set in, but I wonder if there’ll be another way to heal other than going to a camp. Like maybe you can collect plants and make ‘herbal potions’, or just naturally grown healing items like Sitrus Berries, Revival Herbs, and Energy Roots.
It’ll probably have either what you suggested, or a different design (possibly an ointment) for potions with the same effect. Spray bottle potions wouldn’t make sense here, so one of these suggestions is likely what they went with.
Perhaps those plant medicines that the pokemon dislikes in other games can finally have a use here
I can imagine potions in like glass old timey bottles.

Now that I think about it, Growlithe (and presumably Arcanine) being Fire/Rock type means they could have the Rock Head ability, and be able to spam 0 recoil Flare Blitz, Wild Charge and Double-Edge
I love the fact that a guy named Diego with a Roserade pfp (very fitting!) is already thinking of exploiting this. A man of culture, I see. Being able to spam Flare Blitz would be amazing, and I really hope it's Fire/Rock and not just Rock; I love the combination of Fire + Rock.

And hey, with Hisuian Braviary and Basculegion being added, this means gen 5 onwards pokemon are included as well. And I've seen some awesome fanarts of regional variants for fiery Lilligant and an electric Whimsicott

I love the idea that in Legends Arceus we're basically just working for medieval Team Galactic! If you look at the logo, it looks exactly like the galactic logo. So either the Galaxy Expedition Team eventually turns into Team Galactic or Team Galactic are just fanboys of the Expedition Team and decided to base themselves off it.

Man. I remember preordering Pokemon Diamond as an 11 year old. I'm 25 now. Time really flies.
We all thought Legends Arceus was based on Breath of the Wild when the first trailer dropped. But after seeing some of the gameplay, I think it'll also have Monster Hunter elements in it too. Feels nice to actually be excited about a Pokémon game again!

Legends Arceus’ gameplay looks really fascinating, and makes me hope that elements of it can be permanently used for the mainline games. It looks like a good way to evolve the main gameplay while retaining some familiar elements.
I would play a gen 9 game with this setup. Where we're the first to make a pokedex and we have to learn about Pokémon

ya, the poke ball crafting, each pokemon having its own reactions, catch types and not to mention a welcome addition to the battle mechanics, that adds atleast little depth on how to use the abilities and not just stick to one move and mash A. Not much was revealed, but looks like there is some focus on exploration as well (flying not being a cut scene, hopefully and riding pokemon in the wild). I really am looking forward to this.

@@Disatiere It's less about the fact that a soul persists and more that they're all crammed in there over the consciousness of another living being. Spiritomb is the closest example we had, but even then, the souls are sealed in a rock specifically for that purpose. Imagine just swimming in your river and when you get up the waterfall, you end up in The Sunken Place. That's the problem- being alive and it not mattering because the dead are already using your body.

I honestly have no nostalgia for Diamond or Pearl since I've only gotten to play a tiny bit of a friend's game once but man, its just something about getting 2 new games that makes me so over whelmed with emotions. maybe its just the nostalgia of starting a new Pokemon journey or remembering the good times of playing Pokemon as a kid, even when I was supposed to be sleeping and hiding under the blankets just to play. this video just brought me back to such a good time I remember. I couldn't help but to tear up and start crying
So I was more hype for Diamond and Pearl when these games were first revealed, but wow I want Legends now. Hope that they decide to do more Legends games in the future!

I started with Pokémon blue version on a game boy color iam in tears of absolute joy and every year they make my favorite game with better challenges and the anime goes further into ash’s life I’ll be 80 still playing Pokémon
