  • Djokovic is from another planet. Everything about him, his skill, his mindset, his work ethic, his resilience all of what he is is GOAT material…. There is no debate… this guy literally played a few tournaments and got back to being No1… forget about how many slams he got… look at the overall picture. Look at what he earned from 2010 to now. Its just 12 years. And look at how most of the time he has to deal not just with his opponents but also hecklers, hostile crowds, the media , governments… It is literally a privilege to witness history being written. Forget Tennis. He is not just the greatest tennis player of all time, i would go as far as to say that at the moment he is the greatest athlete regardless of sport. Nothing but respect. He the very definition of excellence and resilience.

  • We can go to lengths to tell how he is the GOAT statistically, or how good his tennis is, but to me, the most amazing thing about Djokovic is how he can handle pressure and go on to win even when everything is against him. Seeing him sobbing while hugging his team today really hit him me and reminded me that after all he is just a man, with the same fears and weakness as everyone else, but while most would just give up when faced with difficult situations, he deals with them and fights with all his strengths. That is why, to me, he is the greatest athlete of all time and such a huge inspiration.

Congrats Novak Djokovic 👏

    • Many of Rafa or Fed fans don't understand the background story. From rags to greatest of all time. I assume by your last name that you are from Holland. Spain, Swiss, all EU countries have economic buff from the EU. S**t most of the developed countries you get paid till age of 25 just for having citizenship. Most of the youth have access to resources and best coaches in the game.Djokovic had nothin from beginning, later he had of course. Nole has also adopted the Kobe mindset and the generations that are up and coming will be too busy making tiktoks to understand what hunger grit and discipline means. That alone being said, my point is, not to change your bias for Federer, just I got disappointed when Kobe Bryant was asked who is his best tennis player of all time and he said Djokovic, instantly he got booed. Its sad how he doesnt get any validation for just being a Serb.

    • @@nemanjajerinic6141 Don't make the mistake of attaching blame for everything that you dislike on Novak for simply being a Serb - that's not necessarily the case at all, so it's very unwise to jump the gun. Both Federer and Nadal had established fan bases well before Nole appeared as a party pooper to spoil their cosy, two-player love-in, and many of their adoring fans have not liked it one little bit ever since! However, I'm not in the least surprised, as he's hunted down both of them, and will likely eclipse them in every major category by the time that he retires. Some people just can't accept that as it breaks their heart, but it has nothing to do with Novak's heritage - on the contrary, they just feel extremely sore at seeing their heroes being eclipsed in the success stakes. I'm English, I'm a huge fan of Novak, and have followed his progress for most of his career. During all that time, I've not met a single tennis fan who doesn't admire, or at least respect Nole's incredible talents....yes, even if they're not fans of his. Furthermore, I've never heard anyone mention his nationality or background, but maybe that's because the majority of people around the world are sensible enough to not be so narrow-minded. As I said, it's often very unwise to jump to non-validated conclusions, so please keep your mind open to other possibilities.

    • @@vukvidanovic8276 Federer is also loved everywhere. Very popular in Africa, North America and Asia. I’m from the western world but I’m neither English nor Australian, French, American etc so I don’t see any real hate against djokovic. My father is Swiss and my mother is Serbian so you obviously guess who my 3 favorite players are: Novak, Roger and Stan. It was difficult to chose when they faced each other aha. In Switzerland, many people prefer Federer. But that’s logical: he’s Swiss. I saw more hate towards Nadal in the 2000s than towards Djokovic in the 2010s. What do you mean with England? I didn’t understand what you refer to. What you must understand is that western countries that hate Djokovic for being Serb are the former colonial countries. I mean, recent colonial countries, so neither Portugal nor Spain. In England, when I said I’m half Serbian, they told me all stereotypes about Serbia. They really have a problem with Eastern Europeans. Concerning my Swiss part, I don’t consider myself as a part of the western world. I consider myself as Swiss. Switzerland hates EU and it also hates all those organizations than bury identities and traditions. So dude, don’t listen to people that come from big powers. They’re always jealous. Just listen to the French when they lost the World Cup final.

    • Serbia will by far be closer to any form of fascism than Australia ever did, unless your memory "forgot" about what happened over there not so many years ago ? If I remember well, Australia was just applying planetary regulations in order to limit to the maximum possible the effects of a pandemia, which we knew little about back then. Djokovic's clan obviously put him above this type of rules and therefore he was very rightfully denied access. The Middle Ages are more or less over and if privileges still exist, they should not be slammed in the faces of the ones who's opinion was never asked. I think your definition of fascism is a bit off in other words.

  • Novak Djokovic possesses some kind of utimate tennis software in his head, that enables him to predict, anticipate. pick the right shots and adjust his game while in a rally. He is just picking his opponents ’s game apart, shot after shot until they collapse. Beautiful, like a cross between chess and a boxing punch combination. Foremost, the main thing for me was seeing Novak play in real life. The TV and the camera angles can’t really portray what this man is doing on court. Depth and movement is something you can surely notice, but the change of pace, slice variation and topspin change. On TV some shots look identical when in reality there is so much variation on bounce, spin, depth… *Djokovic's ability to hit deep returns, deep & potent balls, great angles exactly where & when he thinks will hurt your game the most is outstanding* 👏👏👏 Novak's technique should be observed and taught to youngsters for decades to come. Make your opponent move and punish in the clear corner. Tennis is so simple ideally but it takes a genius to perfect those thing in pinpoint fashion.
