  • Tsitsipas looks like he's in trouble, I don't know if he'll continue to play the tournament if his back problems are continuing. Maybe he needs to take a year off to rehab and possibly do surgery on his back.

    • I don’t think he needs a year off. These back problems have only persisted for a couple of months, and he’s still playing a decent enough level. But I do think if he crashes out early here, Stef should rest until Monte Carlo. Skip the sunshine double, skip Rotterdam, try to have a massive clay season. It could do wonders for his confidence and career going forwards. I almost feel like he’s worn himself out playing 80 matches a year through injuries. I swear he was a better player in 2019-21 despite being less “polished,” simply because his energy levels were higher.
