When you realize it is your friend, your first instinct is to get angry at him because he scared you for a moment. But then you both get a good laugh out of it. But that rule easily fits in most situations when people get angry. The next time you get angry, try to stop and ask yourself what you're afraid of at that moment. @grega3611@grega36112 жыл бұрын
    • @@grega3611 what do you mean 1:1 as in comparing NFL Players to NBA or NFL players to like and NBA to like . Cause I don’t know but rookie deals in both are similar since the last CBA in Both sports and Supermaxes aren’t that different from NFL QB contacts (QB contacts specifically) there’s literally not that much difference between between Josh Allen’s contract and Giannis’s contract. While one may have a bit more control it’s the money in the middle that’s different. Average nfl players don’t get great pay because the pie is spilt so many ways. That’s the only real difference. For each of those names there is an NFL equivalent. NFL rings are a bit harder to get (just statistically speaking because of the necessary moving parts) but as far as Rankings upon contemporaries , they have their comparisons. Besides only really making money is baseball

      @christopherhaynes8101@christopherhaynes81012 жыл бұрын
    • @@christopherhaynes8101 guaranteed money is the difference. Football has minimal to no guaranteed money within said contracts and the rest is incentive based. Most of said incentives are out of said players control i.e. if you play 65% of the snaps this season you'll get an extra 400,000. Well the team can literally shut you down towards the end of the season as a situational player to still utilize you but in turn keep you from hitting said mark. The moment any nba player sig s a contract the money written on said contract is fully guaranteed. That is the difference. The poorest nba player has more leverage in a situation he's in than any football player for the most part because no matter what the outcome is theyd still have to pay him what the contract states.

      @TheRealDillPickles@TheRealDillPickles2 жыл бұрын
    • @@TheRealDillPickles if they were operating on the last Collective bargaining agreement you’d be a bit more accurate. But no minimum to guarantee ? I can rip off five contracts in the past 12 months with $100 million guaranteed at signing not contingent on any plays that’s just at the point of signing. As a matter of fact the last 4 major QB contacts had over 110 million guaranteed fully, Without having to play another down. I know we’re all basketball fans here but stay real here. And leverage your not going to tell me Isaiah Thomas has more power that Patrick Mahomes . Let’s be real your the poorest NBA player do not have it better off than NFL stars that’s just crazy. Just ask how the Brooklyn Nets are treating Kyrie compared to how the Green Bay packers treat AAron Rodgers . It’s not close . The middle talent in the NBA is treated better just because There are fewer players , that’s a larger slice of the pie to go around but let’s not act like the numbers don’t exist because we love basketball here. And yes is true that teams can do things to effect your numbers but basketball is the same way and we have a huge problem with player relations and medical staffs every team has an AB situation. Kawhi Leonard has been dealing with that his whole career.

  • Much respect to you Shaquille O'Neal, you're on a podcast or talk show, and which the majority of them which now includes women and a host of people on different talk shows and they have realized that in order to increase their ratings they need to invite and have Hall of famers or NBA players that are none of the plan to be part of their panels because they play the game and they know the game. We all know that everyone can speculate assume about players or teams but don't really know the inside scoop, so now the panel is trying to get you to break your code of silence because you bought it to their attention concerning what was said between you and Ben Simmons. I totally agree with Shaquille O'Neal, because anything else is speculation and gossip.
