Chuck is a living reminder of why none of us should take ourselves too seriously, when he can take a sucker punch to the head and still end the segment doing an 80's style wrestling promo! I absolutely love him, and really all the men sitting at that table. They're always hilarious, endlessly entertaining and spontaneous in truly the best way. I pray they all stay in good health for many years to come!

Actually to be honest Chuck is funny to us because he takes himself so seriously and so he looks like a clown and we laugh at the goofiness of his silly un-self-aware behavior...
What a time to be alive. Feel like this is the Golden Age of NBA commentary that will never be seen again after these guys retire. I rarely even watch basketball but rarely miss their program.

People don't understand why 80's and 90's basketball was the best two eras of the NBA EVER. It's because of guys like Chuck, Jordan, Bird, Magic, Isiah and the Bad Boys, and all the other legends that played their guts out night in night out having made legendary memories, rivalries and fights along the way. Best time to watch basketball.

@ Jose S the best part about their promos was that they were unscripted and spontaneous. Even though Scott borrowed those lines from Hogan, it was still a good promo and believable in my opinion. Scott concentrated on what he was saying, and thus delivered a better promo than Charles. Charles wasn't ready for that hahah.

The fact that I could relive my childhood from the 90s I love it
This is, arguably, the best combination of characters ever assembled for television. It doesn't matter if it's sports related, The View, Fox News Outnumbered, or a news cast on the night of a presidential election. These four guys gel, and compliment each other, like no other. And then when you throw in charismatic guests like Hastings, it makes the show even better.
Chuck perfectly went into Ric Flair, Hulks number 1 rival back in the day. And a pretty good promo of the hulkster n Ric 🤣☠️🤣

The NBA schedule makers need to have the Nuggets play Atlanta in Atlanta on TNT, then have Scott Hastings on the set with all four of them.
This was my first game. It actually started in the 3rd quarter, but even earlier than that.. After the Pistons won their first title, two days later, Minnesota (expansion team) selected Rick Mahorn (then traded him to Philly). In the 3rd quarter, Isiah and Mahorn had something going on, and Isiah swings and misses, but is ejected. And it's tense. Pretty crazy for an 8-yr old. Even after the game, there were fans getting into parking lot arguments, including us.
