It was so bad, that I had to send my family home after my kids swim lessons and skip CFA because how violent and out of nowhere that storm was. • @Chris Machaj I fly FL300/310 on every single leg. It adds a lot in terms of fuel efficiency and weather avoidance. The TBM has airliner dispatch reliability thanks to its altitude capability. TBM is well equipped with systems to handle depressurization, it's not very demanding or dangerous. Both cases were major pilot mistakes and have been incorporated in training. In case you get a pressure warning, you don the mask. You don't start messing with any system on the plane, etc.

      @achimhase@achimhase4 жыл бұрын
    • @Chris Machaj It is 'slow' if you are on the same departure or arrival route, or worst case, the same J- airway - however, they will simply vector you off it; The Vapp speeds are very similar to most mid-sized airliners. I think you are dissing on the TBM for no reason. Its a fantastic aircraft;

  • Playback at .25 speed is pretty cool for at least the first 30 seconds. The water splash is awesome. Thanks for ALL your postings! Thanks for clearing up that some times you have to run over the stop clear markings on the taxiways. I did not know that.
