He flew himself to pickup his PC for flight sim what a flex 😂
Garrett Green haha, big boy flex lol. Love it
Was thinking the same thing. I'm going to fly this turboprop private chartered airplane up to go pick up my gaming rig. Let's go!
Lmao off. He should change the name of the channel to Humble wings 🤣
lmaooo truuuuuuuuue
I was wondering the same...did not see any PAX so he borrowed 1TB to pick his PC up! Thug life 😎
“Sometimes taxying around an airport is harder than the flight itself” - truth!
Yes, especially where there is a lot of construction and closed runways and taxiways!
That’s why I love my helicopters.
On point.
The sound of that turbo prop spooling up never gets old.
Agree. I used it as my ring tone for my phone....Love it
Almost as good as the starting cart for F-4s when I was in the USAF.
Never, ever. When I got to work at 3am when I used to work at my local airport, It was the spooling of Q300 turboprops that woke me up, lol. I was on my feet, but I wasn't _awake_ until I heard the roar of those mighty props. I feel ya.
Yes! I have a flight SIM with a TBM in the fleet and I sometimes replay the startup over and over just to hear the spool up sounds! 🙈✌️
@@glinleyt The power is astounding! I once saw a Dash 8 crew put a huge stack of newspapers on the airport roof getting the main gear unstuck from a sink in the asphalt on the apron. Another crew put her props in reverse to loosen her nose gear's bite on the forward chock as the ground crew couldn't remove it due to the engineers leaning on it after radar testing the night before. Those Q-300s are some powerful airplanes.
Such a good channel. Other pilots should take note. Especially those where 10% of the vlog is flying and 90% is boring monologues or tours of them visiting some city or checking into a hotel.
Shots fired at Guthmiller & Neko
Ouch
Different channels for different purposes. The Steve's all have their place.
If you enjoy 100% flying videos, I'm sure you would enjoy my channel flying the Kodiak 100 in PNG. Stevo was an inspiration for myself.
Variety . Variations . The "world" of Aviation is truly a "world" a global web with wondrous diversity .. Impressive , the greatest examples of hope for humanity to be found ! Naturally this merely is an opinion . An opinion of mine . Surely i could expect others to share similarly my opinion ? Truly impressive these people involved in aviation .
Thank you for explaining some of the small flight details like “Tap the brakes to stop the wheels from spinning before they enter the wheel bays.”. This makes your video more valuable for us amateur flight enthusiasts.
" 2020 is gonna be a great year for aviation enthusiasts " umm, do you wanna take that back?
Same thought 😢
MFS 2020 is still coming out at least
Hey, I bet second-hand airliners are really cheap right now!
Well obviously the man doesn’t own a crystal ball so the comment was relevant when made. 🙄
People sure like to be dumb with their comments just to get those likes and boost their fragile egos.
That’s Xplane for you, puts traffic when you least expected. Great video!
That's a clean build and appetizing use of the inner LED lights that "pulse" rather than puking the rainbow we often see.
There is just 1 difference between a pilot talking to himself and a entertaining KZhead channel.
Hope they let you in the Alpha testing on MSFS 2020. I can't imagine a more qualified beta tester on the TBM and Caravan.
im a tester and the TBM 930 is the most i fly in the sim
He’s on the alpha, he was one of the few lucky invited to discover the sim ahead of everyone.
I actually just sent them an email today requesting to be on the Alpha testing team. I definitely want to be able to give my feedback on how the TBM and Caravan feel in the sim compared to real life.
@@steveo1kinevo That would be amazing, hope you come right Stevo!
Not a pilot and understand very little of what you are saying, also have no idea how you understand or know what is being said on those comms in such a furious pace. But I can tell you I have a new appreciation for pilots! So incredibly cool watching this!
The thing is that during the pilot training you will learn the standard phraseology used between the air traffic control and pilot, and how to communicate with the ATC.
Miami approach has a British controller! That's a first, I've heard ever I think in the US !
He sounds like Eastern 1701.
Tampa approach sounded more like a Sydneysider too me.
There's something calming about the smooth way you fly and how you calmly explain everything that's happening. I thoroughly enjoy your videos and you've earned another subscriber today, sir!
Nothing slaps like the talk between a pilot and the tower. I love that SH*****T!
I’m getting about 1/5th if the conversation though...
azeeuwnl1961 same hahaha! It’s like auctioneer talk, but it sounds amazing.
Yeah, takes a while. You start to know what to expect and then catch more of it over time.
@@azeeuwnl1961 It's in the CRAFT format. C - Clearance Limit - Cleared to the Tampa International Airport" R - Route = 'Via the Miami 6 Departure, Winko Transition, then as filed" *this gives waypoints to fly with a GPS or Land based Nav) A- Altitude = "Maintain 2000, expect 16000" (2000 feet gets you up where the radar controller can see you to be ID'd and climbed, the 16000 is expected in case of a radio failure) F- Frequency = 119.45 T- Transponder = 0062 All IFR clearances should be given in that order.
Have you heard of liveatc.com ? You can listen to almost any airport towered across the world!
Glad to meet u at Tampa sx . The brit controller is very funny at Tampa love that guy.
I’m 14 and I just graduated ground school, I really like your videos! Thanks for making them!
Toasty Boi wow! Nice! Congratulations!🎉
Congrats, Toasty!
Hey can I add you on Instagram
Great insightful video, Steveo. That was an excellent visualization of a short flight but a nice transition to minimums. Your "thinking out loud" approach to the whole flight is always helpful and insightful. Jetline Systems - Yes, I've been keeping up with the news related to the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Knew for a fact my old system would not be able to run the new system once released. Thanks to Jetliner for the tour of your shop. They are on my list now for a new computer purchase. Great flight!
Thanks Rob! Jetline Systems is also great because they will be there to help you in the future with any computer questions or issues you may want to ask about. Great service beyond just having them build the computer for you.
I have to imagine that 'thinking out loud' is a good way to stay safe, too. Adds another prompt to the brain, almost like when you have to physically sing a song to remember what the words are.
@@jcims we do the same before a procedure in the hospital, it's the best way to help prevent errors, not to mention having a second person to repeat back.
28:50 Anyone with a Deathly Hallows tattoo is my type of guy. I'd trust that man with my life
Casually using TBM850 to collect a gaming PC. You know theres a point in life were you can step back and go "yeah, this is pretty great." You have made it there Steve, not only that, you've made it there and kept going a bit further.
You make flying look so easy!! Love the channel!!
Steve you are True Pro! When you fly it’s always so clean
Steveo says "How are you guys enjoying the flight? OK so far?" in almost every video, and almost every time I say "Yeah, it's great!" out loud.
Lol I know right?
Great approach to nearly minimums well done
Nice job SteveO! Always good to have a challenging approach occasionally.
That’s just amazing to watch that system work. Well done.
Stevoeo you make it look so easy. Also updating my PC for FS 2020.
Another epic flight! Thanks Stevo...enjoyed the ride. PC looks awesome...have fun with it. Cheers Mike.
This was a beautiful approach and landing. Enjoyed watching.
Excellent video!!! Awesome mood setting music!!! As always educational and entertaining!!!
Always a pleasure to see your videos, I look forward to each one! I also love the thinking out loud you do, it's very helpful. Someday I would love to hear you brief an approach plate. Thanks for all you do!
Reminds me very much of my own real flying a good few years ago, before I gave it up. Very nice!
Good job, almost to minimums, always good to get some actual ....
I love the TBM900 in XP11. The best addon plane IMHO.
I think so for GA. But IMO the ZIBO really trumps the airliners.
As an aspiring private pilot, I’ve found your content so helpful. I’ve learned a ton from pure observation. Thanks Steve!
Great flight, outstanding as always!😊🏖😍
Started my instrument rating. And watching your videos helped me understand everything a bit more. Awesome vid!
Stevo ,thanks for another slick production ,camera angles music ,framing ,story telling. Like a pro.
Absolutely great flying man, your KSA's are outstanding if I might say so myself!
As always an awesome flight! I'm currently in college but afterwards I'm planning on going to flight school, ever since I was a little kid I've wanted to fly, and watching your vlogs has honestly encouraged me to do more about it! Thanks again my man!
Steve I absolutely love watching your videos every time I watch I tell my self this is my career path for my life and your channel has greatly influenced my decision to be a pilot and brings joy to my day. The plane you fly has also influenced my love for turboprop and piston aircraft. Jets are still cool and fast at the same time tho. Also I want to thank you for deciding to post your work life on youtube I have ben subed for a few years now and the work you do flying the tbm and other aircrafts and bringing us this great content is amazing keep up the good work and long live aviation.
Great videos and flying. Just got my private and I'm starting instrument training. Thanks for sharing the good content.
Great video. Really enjoyed you walking through the approach setup and execution. Enjoy the sim!
So enjoyable getting to hear what you're thinking out loud. I never get tired of the verbal checklists you do during each phase of the flight. The flight sim was the deluxe bonus for this episode as you repeated the IMC landing you just did in real life. So cool!
Awesome pilot skills Stevo. Smashing video thanks. 👏🏻👏🏻👍
Steveo, you are THE consummate professional! Thanks for posting! I love your vids.
You rock Captain Steve.. you are flawless pilot and co-pilot as well
Great work soldier! It's impressive the quality of the graphics and accuracy. Long ago since my latest IFR approach alive and in a Sim as well. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely enjoy hearing flight thoughts and advanced preparations!!
Thanks for the Ride.👍
I am learning how to be better (efficient) with my coms by listening to you. You are a good mentor for that for sure! Love your videos.
Hi steveo thanks for the ride
Shout out from Columbus ohio ur videos are awesome I really enjoy how u explain everything ur doing Always wondered why you tapped the brakes after take off now I know why to stop the wheels from spinning when they go up awsome man
Your videos are what got me into flight sim a few months ago, so its a full circle seeing you get a new rig and picking the sims back up. That new PC has some real power too so congrats hope you enjoy.
Awesome flight Steve! I liked the Foreflight overlay split screen enroute. Nice approach to near minimums. Finally getting around to adding on my fixed wing rating with instrument for the main purpose being able to fly actual IMC since none of our helicopters are truly IFR capable.
Critical Angle Awesome! In my opinion flying really starts to get fun when you get to fly IFR and get to fly through the clouds and shoot approaches.
Always great to watch your flights
Steve, awesome! That flight sim looked just like your flight. Very impressive.
Thank you so much for the refresher. Great flight, approach and landing. I so miss flying especially IFR in IMC in my C206.
Thank you for sharing. I always enjoy your videos, specifically the radio chatter such as ground giving you the clearance and taxi instructions. While I know they aren't training videos they do help remind me how radio chat is supposed to go and what to expect. Keep up the great work.
Steveo, working on my instrument rating now so I really appreciate you putting the approach plate up for all to see. Super cool to pause the video, brief the approach, and then watch you fly it in smooth as silk. Thanks for the inspiration!
I agree.... We use to fly in a Bonanza 205 V-tail.... that's a different animal. Fun to see all the new upgrades and auto options in todays aircraft.
Absolutely loved this one Stevo, I can't wait to see your flight sim content. Nice landing btw in both the real and simulated aircraft! I have countless hours in the X Plane hot start TBM, I'd recommend getting a VR headset to really feel the immersion. Take care.
If not VR, at least Track IR to help with cockpit visuals.
That might be dangerous I'm worried Stevo will stop flying real airplanes after that 🤣
@@AdamGbl95 Haha that's a very good point!
How does operating flight controls(throttle, mouse, keyboard) work with VR? You just feel around for it? lol I have TrackIR and like it. Not sure about VR.
@@crazyhumpy Take a look at my channel, I have tons of videos relating to flying in VR. Its fantastic.
The British controller sounded so out of place suddenly 😅 nice accent for a change in those airspaces! Loved the flight... I'm also currently building a high end rig for msfs2020😁
I was like huh, what. The Brit must be here for ATC school...
yeah i was like whaat!!!
@@drewleevy5420 Us Brits get everywhere .. :-)
Ralph Connell heck yeah y’all do!
Nice job bringing it in especially with overcast sky’s! The park you flew over on final Cypress Point Park I like to disc golf and watch planes come into TPA
4:44 looks like the sun is wearing sunglasses! Love all your vids!
Great flight and follow through with the Segway to the flight sim addition. Hands down the best channel on the Tube! Thanks for all of your hard work steveo.
Appreciate the work you do to make these videos. Very informative and entertaining. Its amazing how far avionics and equipment has come in improving safety and pilot awareness since I flew F-16s 25 years ago! Looking forward to your next installment.
Another great video Steveo. You are living a dream with that job flying around in that beautiful TBM850. I always look forward to the next trip.
Thanks Steveo, excellent video. I'm very excited about Flight Sim 2020. I believe a PC system upgrade is in order.
Well i don’t feel like fighting morning car traffic....Grabs 850 flys up to tampa to pick up new toy. Priceless 😎
Nice minimum VFR ILS landing. That FS 2020 looks amazing I can't wait to check it out. I used to fly Cessna's myself so looking forward to it.
Great flight to Tampa International airport. Thanks for having us along. I always enjoy the ride in the TMB850 N851TBV! Thanks so much for taking us along. Great job!🛫 ✈🌞
Great landing, and what a fantastic computer! Congratulations! Back in the day I bought FS2004 with a Wingman joystick with Forcefeedback, such great flights 😎
that landing was delicious, well done sir
Thank you for a very informative, well paced and concise flight to Tampa, including the near-minimum conditions upon landing. A very high quality video.
Loved the show and the sim! Sims have come a long long way. wow
Steve - I have a 2 year old top end Jetline system. Can't say enough good things about it as well as the support. Can't wait for the new Microsft flight sim program. Love your videos.
Enjoyed the video S1K! Ken and Greg are the best! ordered 4 PC from them over the years! great stuff.
Helicopter on the runway! That was funny! 😂 That'll get your attention! Real nice setup you got yourself there, Steve. A work of art, too. Thanks for sharing.👍🍻
Great flight :) I love how the world just kinda fades into existence as you come out of the clouds.
Great experience. Love your videos. Haven't flown in 40 yrs, vfr, but I am catching on to IFR procedures and radio communication. Thanks for letting us on board !
Great flight! Also love that you include the sim content on your channel. As I’m sure many other students and pilots have, I started out getting the feel for flying on sims and supplement my training with sims too!
I guess a thing I didn't expect from a Steveo video was driving footage over the Skyway. Been over that bridge dozens of times since I have family down in the Tampa Bay area. Glad you got to do some sightseeing down there!
It looks like the $10,000 gaming rig has become this decade's $100 hamburger! 😂
Yep can't wait too. I'll be flying the Caravan of Courage around myself. Great little GA aircraft.
Always a pleasure riding jump seat with you Steve-O
I went the same route, had a PC custom built, yoke, throttle quadrant and pedals, also a great Samsung 4K monitor. The nice thing about a PC like this is that you can upgrade easily as required. Greetings from North of the border, snow covered Québec...
Always have great music. I like the re-mix aspect. Like driving a modified classic car. Great rhythms, sound, harmonies, stereo sound, modern bass and emotional effect to begin and end the vid. Every vid is an adventure. Also, I too am a former Coastie. Tks. for high quality vid. presentation.😎
Professional as always. Music kicking it. British tower control nice. What a great setup on your pc. 👍👍👍
Awesome video, that is a beautiful PC! Looking forward to seeing some flight sim content in the future alongside your usual flying!
thanks for this channel. Learning to fly was on my list but life and kids got in the way. then some heart surgery so its no longer a possibility but through this channel i can fly vicariously through your videos. thanks again
Brilliant thanks Steveo, enjoy the new rig ! 🖒
I always appreciate pilots who also appreciate a good simulator. Can't wait for MSFS 2020; been using it since 1984, and it's such a great way to maintain proficiency even when you can't log the time. And the more realism and detail they add the more fun it can be. It's also the best way to learn new systems and tools like Foreflight, or new GPS units. I learned and gained proficiency in both Foreflight and the Garmin 650 using integrated units coupled with FSX at home.
Started playing MSFS 2020 and found your channel while looking up how to fly the TBM in game. Watching you fly has helped spark my passion for aviation again, keep up the awesome content.
That machine is clean! The computer is nice too! Always appreciate your videos.
I am proud of Steve-O , A Genius in my Book .
Clean flying!
Great video Steve. Instructional as always, fun and with a new PC at the end! My 82 year old dad has just bought an i7-9 k processor and rtx 2070 8gb in prep for fs2020!
The sound of that turboprop is so relaxing, if you flew me somewhere, I'd probably fall asleep.
kdubb 81 it’s cool how it just sings isn’t it?
I trained and flew around Florida a lot. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work and Single Pilot CRM.
I like your reaction Steveo when the heli came into sight you immediately stayed cool and went around lol ;) good stuff
One of my flight school planes chocks were from KFXE! Said Banyan on the back, couldn't help but bring you up.
