Hey, Steveo. Greetings from 🇨🇦. One of the things (among many) that I love and that sets your videos apart, is the effortless and informative way you narrate each aspect of the flight. All the arcane stuff about torque and trim! Fantastic! I sincerely hope you weren’t effected personally by the hurricane although so many others were. Last thing, don’t want to jinx anything but you looked very happy with your lady friend on your recent Instagram post. All the best to you both.
Your videos always inspire me to fly more. BTW, As a new pilot in 1995, I flew my new Bride from New Orleans to Gatlinburg for our Honeymoon in a 172. Great fun on an Easter Sunday.

Elizabethton airport at one time was home to JAARS-,Jungle Aviation And Radio Service. It is a Christian Missionary Aviation service. They had their flight school and A&P school at the airport.
One of the most detailed yet perfectly understandable flight description. Showing the approach plates, where you are, where you're going, what you're looking at, weather consideration is all very very interesting. I'm a low time PPL starting IFR so this just helps me digest real-life flight planning and everything. Thanks!
Welcome to Tennessee! While I miss Florida (KBCT), I love it up here (now KGCY). This airport is close to Bristol Motor Speedway, and is where Dale Earnhardt Jr's Cessna Citation Latitude crashed and ended up near the road off the end of 24 in '19.
I cringe every time someone misspronouces Elizabethton.

Fun fact on the Appalachians: they are eons older than the Rockies and Sierra Nevada range mountains which is why they are not as tall. They've had millions more years of mother nature wear and tear like old teeth!
