Today, it's all about the TBM and I've waited awhile to fly this plane. This plane is really fast and quiet. This is a turbine engine and I thought that I would be louder than piston aircrafts. I even took out my headset for a few seconds and couldn't hear the engine noise. This climbs an incredible rate of 2000-4000ft/min and climbs faster than a cirrus jet.

Best video of the TBM thank you so much.
The TBM is my all time favorite aircraft. The TBM is elegance in motion.
I love the TBM. Always my go-to aircraft on MSFS.
That's sharp. Its cockpit window design looks good. Very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!
Beautiful
I really like your honest and complete review. This plane is just wonderful, its a masterpiece. And way more reasonable than a jet if you compare speed an fuel consumption. Continue this kind of videos, they are really awesome !
Nice!! That’s TBM or a M600 is my dream plane ✈️
Hi Mike from Sydney Australia. I'm learning. 👆
Gotta love a Daher
Hi Mike, can you please link or talk about the mounts you used for the cameras on this plane ride?
I love the TBM 900. Just an FYI the TBM900 is not a FADEC engine, only the TBM960 has a FADEC-type dual-channel digital Engine and Propeller Electronic Control System (EPECS).
What a BEAST of an airplane! Nicely appointed for sure.
Great to have a friend who owns one haha
Doesn't it have terrain synthetic vision? does it show the rocky mountains or is it all flat?
Hopefully one day you will purchase one! Best wishes
WOW! impressive
Wow🥰
this plane is in flight simulator but i never knew just how équiped this craft is
With the ability to reverse the prop as a airbrake, is it recommended? Will it cause premature wear?
Beta is not recommended while in the air on this plane.
There are two things keeping you from reversing a turboprop in flight. Fear and common sense!
Did you say useful load (after full fuel) was 800 lbs?
I had the same thought. That doesn’t sound like much to me.
👍💞
If I ever win the lottery, well the Sling TSi is my first purchase, but then this one will be the next one. LOL.
Why just because that’s what he flew? Why not get a Cirrus 22GT then a TBM?
@@superskullmaster I just like the looks. *Shrug*
800 lbs? that’s like 5 people not including their stuff
The TBM does not hold a candle to the PC Turbo Prop or 24 Jet your dreaming !
Are you kidding? The tbm is hand down better aircraft. What drug are you smoking
Not a jet sire…….
Mojo...the TBM is not powered by a jet engine, it's powered by a turbine engine. Words have meanings.
Obviously, he misspoke because during the rest of the video he says turbine multiple times. But, hur dur ... wOrDs hAvE mEaNiNgS.
A jet engine connected to a gearbox turning a prop?
Everyone misspeaks now and then. I don't usually catch a typo until after I hit send. And I'm pretty sure I've heard them colloquially referred to as "prop jets", though I'm not certain of the accuracy of that nickname.
Do some research on turbine engines and see what aircraft are powered by them.
@@mojogripI’m fairness a gas turbine is the base engine. If you constrict the area behind the turbine then it’s a jet engine. So he’s not wrong because you aren’t constricting the gas path behind the turbine of a turboprop.
Just another rich guy writing off his toys on taxes, while complaining about US labor costing so much.
If the person is successful by their own honest efforts, they deserve that success and the right to acquire the "toys' [if you choose to call them that] they desire. In addition, if they complain about the cost of US [sic] labor that is an opinion and they are entitled to their own opinions. Just as you are entitled to the opinion you have expressed. Although there could be a conversation as to the extent and the degree that the U.S. labor cost opinion is valid. And lastly, do you not believe that you are entitled to purchase the items you desire with the funds that you, yourself, have earned??
