  • Got mine yesterday. Connected mine on gsx 1000 and it was LOUD. Playing songs at 50% volume. Connected it also on my galaxy s10 plus, it was loud also. It's just 28 ohms. It also have 3.5mm jack because it is suppose to be a gaming headset. Plug and play through pc. I have never seen a pc that does not use 3.5mm jack. I think your problem about the low sound or lacking in power is that you didn't turn the volume wheel on the right side cup of the headset all the way up. Maybe you didn't know that there was a volume wheel on the headset. You didn't even mentioned it in your review. Or you got a bad gsp 602.. though i think you didn't know that there was a volume wheel..

  • Hi. Pro-Tip: You can use the Noise Gate to decrease the amount of "heavy breathing" or background noise that the microphone allows to pass through. Simply put, a "Noise Gate" tells your software "Hey, if you pick up any sounds that are "x-volume" or quieter, mute them; but if the incoming sound reaches "x-volume" or higher then allow it to pass through. So, using the noise gate to set the threshold of what is/isn't allowed to pass into the microphone will be very beneficial for eliminating the "tippy-tap" of puppy paws on hardwood floors, or your "heavy breathing" gamers, while still allowing the volume of your voice to "flip the ON switch" - so to say. It may take a few tries to figure out where exactly to set the slider, but a noise gate can be your best friend if applied properly.

    • I'm not sure as I do not own these amps, but I would imagine it sounds better with a better amp. On the other hand, from what I experienced, I am worried about the quality using any amp, so good luck to you in your endeavors.

  • I'm just really pissed that they build this as a headset you could use with the console when I can't even get volume as good as my ancient Logitech G35 headset out of these. The fact that they don't have a quarter inch Jack is unforgivable because they require an amp and there's no way that these things can put out sound from a controller 😂

  • How the fk? You don't hear anything this is the same as the sennheiser gsp600. It's just 28ohms. I have my 600 through the Xbox controller and sounds good. Shit even a ipod can runs this good.

    • I think he missed the volume wheel at the right side ear cups and didn't turn it all the way up.. lol my galaxy s10 can also run this headset good. then why would someone complain about 3.5 mm jack on a gaming headset? lol I think all of the gaming headset uses 3.5mm jack, if not, it uses USB.

  • So hold on here, the sound isn’t that good without an accessory. REALLY? You sure you’re not promoting another product? 🤔

    @daddyharry6065@daddyharry60652 ай бұрын
    • def not promoting another product. I wish it was good on its own, but without external pre-amp, DAC, etc, it just seemed overpriced. The headset isnt new anymore tho, so you can probably find a solution much cheaper now with this headset and could easily be a steal. I currently use the epos H6 pro closed acoustic powered by a Maono AMC2 Neo

  • So basically you need a schitt hell or a Zen DAC or a $200 dac\amp to use these? It's very irritating when you're used to surround sound gaming. I mean my sound blaster with the high impedance hf amp barely keeps them at loud phone speaker level until it falls off a cliff with no power. No I do not want an Epos 300. I'll be going my s*** hell after that fleecing Sennheiser and drop just pulled! Gsx 1000... no I have actual surround 5.1dts. I just wanted a nice headset. Drop is full of s*** on 90% of their products. Can you imagine how bad those new near field monitors sound in real life? But everyone that's in the drop cult will NEVER admit they bought Chinese sharper image trash! I felt exactly like a kid getting the cool science toy home from the mall only to realize it has absolutely no function but to get you to buy it! Drop is internet sharper image! That's honestly an insult to sharper image!

    • Yo.... I've been using PC's and all kinds of electronics since I was 5yo. I learned to use MS-DOS 6 at 6yo playing kroz etc. I still have MS-DOS 6 and Windows 3.1 in sealed boxes 💯 I know how stereo's work. I've built at least three subwoofer setups in vehicles with full Dynamat. I've also installed component systems with separate crossovers and amps as well as 6x9s in the deck with their separate to channel amp under the back seat! I'm going to plug them into my note 9. Then my Yamaha 100 watt per channel 5.1 DTS etc receiver on the 1/4 inch headphone jack with a $50 adapter. I truly hope it's not a broken unit because I had some no sound from the left ear issues as soon as I put them on 🤷🏼‍♂️😑 I will double check all of my settings and the physical stuff on the headset per your suggestions. I may be completely doing an overlooking of the obvious because I was expecting to get that really good quality sound like the old Sony and Koss monitors used to give. I understand it's a gaming headset with the totally different audio tuning. I just meant that even when I got it going I had nothing more than what I would call 30% volume no matter how I plugged it in to my sound blaster with the special headphone and chip I can't remember the model of ATM?!? They look so good and they are truly comfortable for my head especially with glasses on. I think most people who don't like the fit or the top headband aren't adjusting it correctly. Thank you for the responses, I was not at all trying to brag up above I just wanted some way of conveying I have a lot of knowledge about this topic and something is just wrong. Like when half of a humbucker stops working on your guitar. Or you start to feel your clutch slipping in in the higher gears on the highway. Or your choice of modern 8+ speed transmission shift solenoids failing while it's hunting around for gears it can't find! I was just trying to give you some examples I am autistically detailed with things and should not be using voice to text 😂

  • I grabbed mine for $80 with free shipping. Hopefully my high end sound blaster card will be able to power them. If not my z390 master board has a high ohm compatible onboard sound. I honestly just can't stand the look of the pc38 series especially the yellow and black. If I need to get a s*** amp\dac to power them at least I didn't pay $200 for the headphones 🤷🏼‍♂️ Drop is always a rip off and they will be until the end of time with the business model of making sure they have absolutely no financial risk! They're pretty disgusting when they try to sell you keycaps that they built and want $200 for and give you an email that says it's on super sale for $179 🤡🌍 Everyone needs to just drop drop.... They truly do not serve any purpose but to make audio files and hipster douchebags pay 10 times what some things worth! They are literally the new sharper image store at the mall if you're old enough to remember that overpriced trash that broke as soon as you got it home!
