The Gold pads on the 602 look different from the 600 and 601 which seem to have a material type surface sewn in
i own both and i love it best headset ive ever invested in honestly even when my games are at very low volumes i can still hear everything my only complaint would be the ear pads after a while they start to peel and come apart either it be from sweat or just from body heat otherwise literally no complaints

I'll tell you they're top tier for gaming on PC you can hear things people with normal headsets cant but make sure you get either the gsx 300 dac or the gsx 1000 dac because without it you cant get 7.1 surround I've been accused of hacking so many times just because I heard audio that everyone else can't hear.

@@Darktrooper-mt5qu I'm not sure haven't tried but I'm positive that the audio DAC wont work because there is a software for the surround sound. I don't know if I could honestly recommend them for console gaming

I have the gsp300 and Im sure this one is a big upgrade.. would you say the sound coming out of the 670 wireless is better or not as good as the wired 602? and do you notice a big change with the gsx ? (I don't have tons of extra money ;p)
I'm using this with GSX300, and in game, I noticed something weird. When I got hit, that sound effect is always kinda silent. Have you noticed this while gaming? Some effects like footsteps, explosions are kinda loud and nice, but for example shots are kinda silent sometimes on 7.1. What could be the problem?
That is most likely game related, headphones don't have things like footsteps or bullets programmed to sound louder then the other, as it just comes from the game's sound queues.
Really like the 602 but I picked up the 600 ordered then from Amazon. But does this amp work with xbox series x or PS5. Does the amp only work with PC.
do you like the sound?.... mine sound so off... compared to other gaming headsets, even my other (sennheiser too) headphones
@@caliginousmoira8565 late reply, if you're using discord turn off all voice related settings. Noise suppression, Echo Cancellation, Noice Reduction. These settings lower your voice quality by A LOT. Your voice will sound very loud and clear. Try reducing your mic sensitivity from discord, and reduce mic gain level from windows 10 sound settings.
@@DrYeol it's not the mic... the headset itself sounds like out of phase speakers. i think they were trying to make the closed back sound like an open-back headset(even though they have one) the sound is very clear and precise but it just sounds off.

Does the GSX 300 improve stereo audio quality? I know that it adds surround sound configuring, but for someone primarily focused on using stereo audio and improving microphone quality would this be a good purchase?
it does, there's a Warm preset on the GSX300 that completely changes the voice of the microphone and makes it sound amazing, watch the review from Hardware Canucks

My gsx 300 does not detect my gsp 601. what can I do? When i connect my headset to my pc without the gsx 300, it gets detected.

all you will hear is footsteps......with some deeeep bass
The mic I liked the most on the other… it meant it could be used confidently for team talk to be recorded also as well as random unsetup moments

I would only recommend the GSX 300 on a laptop or other mobile devices. All Desktops have better or the same quality devices on the motherboard already. Sound equlizer programs do the same effects shown in this vid. Of course they try to sell a double pack here we dont need.😁😁

Have a GSX300 and there's a large problem with them losing audio. When it happens you have to power cycle for sound to return. Bad in general but horeible when it happens in game. Hoping the recent sw update corrects this.

so i bought this headset and they dont even work out of the box lol. I have to spend another 70$ on a 150$ just to get it to work and i dont even want to use surround sound...
Why don't they work out of the box? They have a 3.5mm cable and PC splitter cable. Unless you require USB .

It's because epos are piece of shit company sad Sennheiser quit making gaming headphones and sold the rights to epos they changed the technology on older models that Sennheiser made. Try to find used or new Sennheiser gaming headsets I recommend the game zeros best gaming headset I've ever owned they work even better with a mixamp. Try to stay away from epos gaming headphones

I think they are making a mistake in naming their gaming branch "Epos".. Sennheiser is a known headphone maker and highly lauded. Epos, no one has heard of it and gives a crap. I find it idiotic to do this.. It makes their products sound like they are 'Razer' or "Logitech" or "MadCatz" or some lower end shitty brand in audio etc... Sennheiser is the brand recognition. Also the quality control of this 'Epos GSX 300" is shitty as hell. It's basically a dud. The GSX 1000 didn't have all the issues this does.

Epos make hi-fi speakers, and sennheiser are definitely known for headphones and microphones, so I hope they will keep the dual branding. I've just ordered a pair of these to use with the PS5 straight into the dualsense controller.
Basic product management, add a new sub brand in order to split products and make it easier for the costumer to find
