  • It’s called discretion. Aka judgement. Also see integrity. I lived it for 27 years. Caught tons of flak for not issuing enough tickets. Not making # of arrests a priority. I was a small town police chief for 5 years until my community policing standards put me at odds with a corrupt city council. So, at a council meeting, I walked in, told them I quit, left anything issued to me by the city on a desk, never looked back. I went back to the Sheriff’s department I began my career at and finished out as a road deputy. Point of this boring story is, everyone has choices. Some are more unpleasant than others. Make the ones you want your grandkids to brag about.

    • @@johnchaney1713 - I used to be a cop shop reporter for community newspapers back in the olden days when there were privately owned, non-chain local publications and radio stations. What you describe is what I observed 99% of the time. There was the occasional whippersnapper that the older guys would get them settled down after a year or two but clearly they were the exceptions. All my sheriffs' coordinated with the town police chiefs and had mutual aid agreements. I did hear horror stories of bad cops (St. Louis city police specifically) but I only met one personally in just under 30 years of covering local law enforcement agencies.

    • Ffs, you don't know Russian history, KGB tactics. Imagine that when we, Poles, were under Soviet occupation, there were shootings in many cities, commies shooting ppl for gathering or breaking curfew or just like that for nothing. In 1981 we had Russians come directly, bc we had martial law implemented by Jaruzelski (from that day on everyone h8ed him), and there were spraying civilians with pepper spray, bullets, driving through people, beating with batons etc. So much ppl died, yet when my father went to France to pick fruits, they thought we like communism and that we vote for it (voting was a waste of time, because the opposition was basically setup by communists to make it seem there's a choice). So yep, Russians are fully capable to do it to themselves, because they can blame anyone, guess who? They want to rally a nation towards a common enemy. Meanwhile the horrific things they've done to Ukrainian citizens, no one's interested in that. That attack was either who they claim to be or was concocted by Russians. They already did so in the past, blowing up civilian buildings and blaming it on Chechens.

    • I blame Russia. They talk about their existentional threat, but they've never been attacked since operation Barbarosa. Now if it goes for them it's a completely different story. They always come to "save" their ppl in someone else's backyard. Well, then what about NYC? They have Russians living there, and so why won't US give up its slice of NY? That's how stupid is their argument about saving Russian speaking ppl.

If the U.S. was attacked on the scale Israel was I would assume you would want to fight the murderers. But it is only when Jewish people defend themselves the world has a problem with it. Hamas literally wants to wipe them off the face of the earth. This is rooted in Islam. This isn't ultimately about land. It is a spiritual war. @beki4564@beki4564Ай бұрын
    • @@beki4564 yeah it’s illegal to change the locks on an active tenant in most states. My point here is that the cop made the demands not to change the locks BEFORE the squatter came back and presented even the fake lease- thus taking away the woman’s rights to her home and granting a squatter rights to her home. She regained possession of her home when the squatter left the property for 10 minutes, so the cop then proceeded to kick her out of her home (while she’s there) and granted the squatter access to her place- despite the woman presenting obvious evidence she was the owner. The cop acted as the Judge and Jury in this situation, which he has no authority to do.

    • @Matcc because it was a psyop in the mw universe. The term "No Russian" meant "don't speak Russian". They were all speaking English. It was to perpetuate an atrocity and leave all of it at the hands of the U.S. to convince Russia to invade the U.S.

  • There was a retired military guy in Oklahoma who took on a whole police force. He accused them of trafficking children, knowingly, and they raided his home. They got him on a gun charge for one particular weapon that they said was illegal for him to possess. So, when he went to jail, his friend picked up where he left off. Well, they went after this guy too! Crazy thing is, they really did chase him down! Now, both he and his wife are dead. Something to look into. Happy sleuthing!
