    • That had absolutely nothing to do with black people doing financially better during Jim Crow.🙄 Black people simply had no choice but to do business with each other because they weren't allowed to do business with Yt people. Once segregation was over many sellouts assumed yt ice is colder and stopped patronizing black owned businesses. If her nonsense made you tear up you're slow and soft.😌

    • @rtaluy, Marriage has nothing to do with success. And black fathers are the most active in their kids lives regardless of their marriage status. That nonsense about single mothers is simply a talking point to take the blame off where it belongs. WS.If you disagree tell me how being married helps poverty. I want a precise response. • When Candace mentioned how parents prioritized sports for black boys, that hit home for me. As an educator, I have literally witnessed black parents let their sons play every sport offered while failing academic classes.

    @brwnbarbie24@brwnbarbie24Ай бұрын
    • A lot of times it's like the parents themselves view academics as a lost cause. I currently teach myself and it's frustrating to see tbh. Most of the time administrators put the kids on academic probation and cut them from the sporting activities until they improve their grades but I'd say that strategy has a 50/50 success rate in terms of students actually getting their sht together academically.

      @UtdG01@UtdG01Ай бұрын
    • Yup, and too many times it's Black mothers (and even some fathers too) that are hellbent on their kid being good enough to be a pro when 98.5% of the time they'll be lucky to even get an offer from a D1 school. Regardless, even with race aside, there's not enough Millenials and Gen Z in general that go into STEM fields, infrastructure jobs, etc. But in fairness, depending on where you live, Millenials and Gen Z aren't necessarily wrong that you can't afford to live on a $60k to $70k job the way you could 20 years ago. Especially when accounting for taxes taken out.

She was confrontational and unmoved when others tried to appeal to her humanity, she had nothing to give in the face of the community's grief over the young people I mentioned. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. a Black person was killed or maimed by police, she found a way to blame the victim - without fail! She makes some salient points at times, but the way she ridicules Black victims - she can kiss my whole ass. Saying one or two truthful things doesn't make up for that.

Kudos to allowing a place for disagreements to be discussed instead of 100%ers arguing with no critical thought and spewing negative combative nonsense. Some of her views i am not 100% on but this healthy conflict in thoughts is what shapes our society. We must listen to the other sides , communicate , seek the real truth, and FOLLOW THE MONEY! We are all growing and changing in thought, heart and action according to personal experience and media influence. Lets move forward together instead of playing into division as divided we fall and evil greedy corporations win!

  • Candace is a GREAT role model for young women... She was REALLY speaking truth about the state of our current Black "music",,, As a Urban music producer, I strive to shift the consciousness of young Black men trying to perpetuate the "status quo" of MAINSTREAM Hip Hop in my recording studio. As we listen to the playback of their "foul" lyrics, my facial expressions will many times lead to conversations about their music... Sometimes, our conversation will lead them to changing a "foul" lyric... I tell them it is OK to rep where you came from. But I do NOT think it is ok to REITERATE and GLAMORIZE and be the ONLY thing you rap about. If we want to do better, we have to be better. If we want to be better, we have to learn better. If we want to learn better, we MUST pay attention!!! Brava to Candace Owens for standing up to ANYONE that misrepresents her truth!! And props to "The Breakfast Club." for having the B#LLS to have on a guest that many in their audience doesn't like... or is it that she is/was just misunderstood???

Black people have been brainwashed so deeply it angers you when they just don't get it, when you try to get them to wake TF UP! I believe now after having kids she has soften up a bit with her approach. She is still saying the EXACT same thing though. I myself couldn't STAND her approach but identified with her points. Education is the biggest key to freedom, economic growth, etc. The more they can demonize LEARNING for yourself, the less they have to defend their own policy decisions (and outcomes). Just look at all they have done with illegal immigration - anyone that said it's wrong was called "racist" - when it has nothing to do with race and everything to do with CITIZENSHIP, preserving jobs/wages/education/healthcare/housing and social services for AMERICANS (of all ethnicities).

Trump’s incompetent response to the pandemic ultimately lead to him leaving office losing close to 3 million jobs…. • @@CMark89 In her initial video on Floyd she claimed the media was portraying Floyd as a hero, which was false, the media never portrayed Floyd as a hero, neither did the black community. Candace created that false narrative. It's a slick tactic that Owens does in videos, she will create false narratives then go on to debunk her own false narrative. Her right wing gullible audience and other uninformed individuals are easily fooled by this. She profited off of that disgusting video where she brought up his past deeds as some justification for what happened to Floyd. She tried to absolve herself by saying his past doesnt justify what happen to him, so why bring it up? It's a convienient wink and a nod to her right wing mostly caucasian audience that eats up her content. She loves making videos wagging her finger at the black community, she thinks she is smarter because she fell for those right wing black authors who were full of Sh*t. They all love to call out democrats but she conveniently doesn't call out Nixon and Reagan policies that harmed the black community. She loves to call out the so called mainstream media when she literally worked for a right wing propaganda network, the daily wire promotes lies and disinformation on a daily basis. She propagated culture wars for living and acts like she is innocent. She and her right wing band of grifters sow division in our nation. If she had any integrity she would call out Trump who incited an insurrection against our democracy. But she won't do it, she wants to keep the right wing money flowing. I guess it's ok for a President to call an election official looking for 11k votes. The lack of intergrity and morality by this charlatan grifter is amazing.

    • Respect = NO FACT CHKG! She's not a Dr to claim Biden is in Dementia. Trump & Rep are CLEARLY NOT better for blacks & POC. Look at the budgets & policy for each administration!

    • I agree w/fathers in home, black fam together & prosperous but that's a decision BM need to make! Trump's lvl of deregulation was not healthy & it primarily benefited corporations! Food truck should have HEALTH requirements! Fail 2-3x but she's justifying Trump failed 7x=bankruptcies.
