I purchased tickets to see Bill Burr for Father’s Day for my husband and we laughed non stop during his show. Great comedian
I saw him in Atlantic city and to be fair I was tired but he didn't use material from the specials and he was 75% funny and 25% losing the crowd but I'd only been to his stand up and I look forward to going to see more of him or Dave.. but there's other comedy stand up i should go to

I grew up poor and in rural SW Missouri with very little experience around other races or cultures. In the 70's my dad would take myself and siblings down to the gulf and bring back fresh shrimp to MO and sell it. On one trip we stopped at a little town in Louisianan for lunch at a place called the Black Bayou. I am a triplet with another brother 13 months younger and here we are, 4 little white boys surround by a very different crowd. The people were so kind and interested in knowing us, the experience, catfish and spaghetti was amazing. Bill's experiences have familiarity with me.

I was at the comedy store for Marc Maron on a Sunday before covid and Bill Burr was a surprise guest. We couldn’t believe how lucky we were. Bobby Lee, Whitney Cummings and Jeff Ross also had guest sets. But Burr just murdered while trying out new material.

Watching Bill Burr transition from the angry guy ranting onstage to a chilled out, happy, relaxed married father has been kinda cool to see. It's also nice to see someone be able to stand on his square and casually swat away all of Charla's asinine comments.
His body of work in comedy and reality has been consistent and surrounded by real ones
