  • Let's be clear about how good this is. He just walked out on stage and freestyled a 2 hour special with no script whatsoever. And it's funny, relevant and takes shots at the federal reserve. Can we please share this damn video around!?

  • I am from mainland China, came to Canada 10 years ago, couldn’t really make a conversation in English. Then I found a video on KZhead of Bill Burr with Chinese caption, fucking love it. However it was the only Bill Burr special with Chinese translation on the internet. Then I started to watch the video with only English captions, with my dictionary. Anyway, thanks for teaching me English.

    • I once worked for a Furniture Dealer, in Credit and Collections. One of my Co-Workers was a Stand Up Comic. I call him "Stan" (not his real name). Stan said unless your name is Jay Leno or David Letterman, being a Comic is a tough job. You get maybe, if you are lucky, five days of work in Las Vegas and maybe another five days in Miami. But it seems for most unknown Comics, it is hard to get a FULL time job anywhere, so Stan decided to work for a Furniture Company, to pay the Rent! Stan said one night, he walked out onto the Stage in Miami and FROZE UP! HE FORGOT ALL HIS JOKES! And Comics, it seems, don't use Teleprompters. Letterman used Cue Cards, but 99.9% of Stand Up Comics DON'T. I am going back over 30 years, so I don't know how long "Stan" just stood there in SILENCE! But it must have been horrible! So when I hear Bill Barr deliver his act, I am in AWE as to how he REMEMBERS what to say!

  • Damn, the amount of love i have for Bill's comedy is unmatched. The man just walks out on stage like he doesn't give 2 shits and rants his ass off about every single ridiculous supposedly inappropriate, insensitive or politically incorrect thing on the planet and its just pure gold! He stands there just spitting pure facts for 2 hours straight and the content is incomparably better than any of the newer scripted so called 'comics' out there. I cant express how much I admire this man for not caving under the bs pressure and just speaking his mind, no gimmicks, no agenda no subtle commentary.. just saying what every logical realistic person is actually thinking but is too censored to say out loud. Such a fucking breath of fresh air!

    • @@marsicogodofwar9280 You're kidding, right? You obviously don't understand that anyone can choose a favorite all they desire, the same as you do not understand how to formulate a proper sentence. Lack of education and a desire for laziness is not a free ticket to judge another simply because their favorite is not your favorite. Be honest, Normand is trash and Shane hasn't been viral throughout his entire career. We are here under Bill's content after all. Not seeing either of your favorites in the room. Must be an indication that the OP's choice of a favorite has some legitimate, real world influence on the comedy scene. And I'm not seeing either of your mentions filling a venue with people wanting to watch a podcast live. Especially this particular venue. Don't be mad because you like people who lack the ability to generate true humor out of real world events. Instead, be mad at all of the time you wasted on one single video game, for that is where shame resides. And THAT is how you belittle another in a youtube comment section.

I didnt cry until i was in my late 20s like 5 or 6 years ago when ĺ i relized how fucked up i was and how even though i tried so hard to avoid it i almost ended up like him. • That is rough dude. I've certain aspects of my father I'd rather avoid carrying on myself but nothing that bad, sorry you had to go through that. Mad respect for being introspective enough to change the pattern and huge respect for quitting alcohol! Alcohol can be a bitch, and make you act a cunt, so sometimes you have to be a bit of an asshole to yourself and your desires, despite yourself. Addiction is a bit of a motherfucker indeed to deal with. The most important thing imo is to be aware of your areas of fault; things you realize you have a weakness for, or which will result in negative consequences for you. Almost to the point where one could treat it like tastes /preferences in things, or precautions based on allergies. I see nothing but strength in people willing to admit to their "faults" (neuro-weaknesses? neuro-differences?), even more so if they want to deal with them. I have had issues big and small related to alcohol use for about 10 years, and even though I'm not classifying myself as an alcoholic (this term is rightly slowly being fazed out within medicine/science; it's too nonspecific) I've for a few years now accepted that I have a personality prone to addiction, and so need to be cautious with addictive substances. Honestly it feels incredibly freeing , and I'm happier for it, but I appreciate that it's a difficult process for many people. Sorry for the rant, I guess I got the Bill-Burreliosis setting in hard :O Peace ^^
