Just arrived in the mail yesterday! It literally improved my setup a hundred times it’s that good the most thing I love is the ergonomics with the thumb grip, the design and the rgb is the most thing I love, and the cable literally feels like a shoe lace it’s not stiff a single bit it feels wireless the lighting zones the macros. The mouse really is the perfection
is the mouse alright for big hands?

Hi there, thanks for your review :) Does the lack of a foot on the right side of the mouse impact how the mouse moves while in use? Have seen other reviewers mention it, but just picked up my original Basilisk and realised it also doesn’t have a foot on the right side, and have never noticed any drag because of it, so am wondering whether it’s something that is a very individual experience. Thanks!

I only recently got both the mice, first the Razer Basilisk Ultimate and then the Razer Basilisk V3, because I got already fed up with the Ultimate often loosing connection. I checked on the Internet, and that seems an issue with many people. I tried all sorts of USB connections for the dock (and without it), and it looses connection , or rather the mouse, very often. At that point nothing works, but pulling the dongle from the dock and putting it back then, only then the mouse comes back. Not even mentioning, that when I plugin the Dock into my PC directly (back IO USB), it even keeps my PC from booting. Sounds stupid and unlilely, but it did. Started the PC, and it got into a boot loop from the start of the PC to when I could press F2 or DEL to get into Bios, then it boot loops. All the time. I got totally crazy about that, because I was looking for all sorts of other reasons, removed RAM sticks and graphics card, checked mainboard, couldnt find any problem there. And then on some post someone suggested it might be an USB dongle that could be responsible. I would have never imagined that, considering i had many dongles over the years, and not one of those made issues. So after pulling the dock from the USB in the PC iO, the issue was gone. That sure is not funny and shouldnt happen. Then I got the Basilisik V3 and all was better. I liked the Ultimate, but it kinda ultimately p**** me off. ;)

Yet another great video! Just wanted to ask if you had any recommendations for speakers for my monitor? I'll be fine spending a little more on good speakers (150-175 maybe?). I watched a video of yours a couple months ago showing off a list of speakers but just wanted to know if you had any updated recommendations you might've found since then!
Honestly, I've looked at a ton and used a lot. But the edifier m3200 are really good and you can often find them for like 80 bucks some places. Hope this helps!

one thing every review forget to mention and smething i use all the time is the profile button on the underside of the mouse. the light rightabove it changes color to reflect what profile is selected. i no longer have to open razer synapse to change the profile. you can assign the profiles using synapse and save them directly to the onboard memory of the mouse.

So did Logitechs patent expire on the free spinning wheel? That is the only thing that kept me using their mice but if this one has it I may be changing soon.

I'm on a dilemma. I have Basilisk V2, but need a new one for my Laptop, on which i play Kovaaks(Aim Trainer). I have hard time choosing between this one and DeathAdder V2 PRO.Razer said this is a new sensor. Obviously it has 6k more DPI, but no one cares about this one. Is the sensor improved, in terms of preciouses, tracking, smoothness and so on, or is the same sensor as DeathAdder and Basilisk V2, with just added a bit more DPI ???

I'm considering this or the G502 X, or the Glorious Model I. The latter might be my favourite design, however, I kinda want horizontal scroll. The G502 X on the other hand, is about the same weight as the Basilisk, but with uglier design and BC, and yet another software running in the background (I already have Razer Chroma running) and no RGB, but it has that free-scroll though and two additional buttons... I think the Basilisk will be a good middle ground. It's a toss-up really. Edit: 7:33 Oh. I didn't know the Basilisk actually had a free spin. I guess I'm going for the Basilisk then! ☺👍 And as it seems to work kinda like the MX Master 3 as well, which is perfect, as I'm after a mouse that can replace it. (I'm getting annoyed by the high weight, and the rubber coating is starting to get its infamous stickyness...)
my basi v2 has a lot of factory issues so i switched to viper an stick to that for good

How does this thing have 6000 more dpi but the default stages are 400+. I'm upgrading tomorrow just so I don't have to squeeze 400 out of the stages on the v2. Which I have hated since I bought the thing. lol. how does that thing stage resistance at a press of a button?..

G502 still is a very good mouse the only reason I want this one is the g502 gets double clicks
How do you actually compare "precision" once you enter the good mouse category? I feel like they're all good enough to not notice any difference.
They all do get very similar, but with certain things like fast flicks of the mouse you can notice a difference. As well, I noticed on this mouse especially, the grip gives you an easier position to be more precise compared to the G502.
This mouse looks awesome with SignalRGB but my scroll wheel is all over the place. Gonna exchange it tomorrow. Just seems to move to easily.. Very finicky

Probably gonna get this mouse. I've had two G502s and the metal scroll wheel rusted on both of them, it's f**king annoying. I just love the G502's shape. The Basilisk V3 is the same thing but better

I got the original Basilisk V1, and I am still using it to this day, didn't buy the V2s because I didn't like their look, I think it may be time to replace it with this.
Hi guys, I'm in a bit of a confusion. I just got the Razer Viper Ultimate. The mouse feels really good for me especially since I moved from a G502 PS. I'm a competitive league of legends player, and I've read that the Viper is perfect for Esports in general. Do you think that the V3, would be much more suited for me? I mainly use palm grip with any mouse that I have. If anyone could help me with some information which is related to the performance of the mices. I know both are great, but i really wonder which one is better for a competitive moba player. THanks

@@vishwankvrai I've found it to be an excellent mouse. My only complaint is that you need to run the Razer software at all times to manage the lighting effects unless you use open source 3rd party software like OpenRGB. Even with that you have to re-load the lighting profile after a restart. Aside from that, the performance and usability is top notch.

You mean 169mm? If so yes. Ergo mice that have the G502/Basilisk shape are made to fit all hand sizes
