A good honest review. Thanks. The net in the cassette is also used by dog owners to keep their pets safe in the rear when braking and the animals separate from other passengers & not landing up in the back seats.

The contraption in the ceiling in the back is for the safety net which, when you fold the rear seats down, you can then slide onto the back of the seatrest, raise and attach to the ceiling to separate cargo from the remaining two front seats

Nice review! I sometimes hear that people say that the 530e is a bit more bumpy compared to the non hybrid 5 series because of the weights. Did you experience this?
Thanks! Actually, I didn’t really notice any difference but to be fair, I wasn’t looking for it. Next time I drive it I will look out of it and see 👍
Thanks. It also depends if you have the Dynamic suspension or not. Nevertheless a great car! For me the consideration will be the space in the trunk. You will lose a lot of space. So during holiday with kids it could be a problemen. And obviously the consumption while not charging. This will be higher than 530i. In the end luxury problems 😅

@@iwctimebut if you buy a phev and don't charge for trips that's a user issue. For long journeys their computer is insane in its adjustments and can easily get 500km combined use driving 120
