Apparently earthlings are an unruly lot.
One thing to note in the blanket scene is that Loki’s Asgardian transformation that was applied onto him by Odin isn’t only topical, it’s a cellular and permanent transformation. Magic doesn’t work in the TVA, but he still retains his Asgardian appearance. Loki’s true form is only visible when he makes contact with the Casket of Ancient Winters, the frost giant box from the first Thor movie. However, I still think that Loki wasn’t cold in this scene because Odin probably had Loki keep his frost giant abilities alongside the transformation. Idk tho, just spitballing lol
Yeah, he wasn't cold and his arms didn't freeze up when he touched the frost giants directly in the first Thor movie.

I kinda think it classic Loki to.
I cant help but respect Classic Loki, who, after thousands of years, still remembers Asgard well enough to construct an illusion of it with so much detail.
He got caught because he misses home too much and couldn't resist going back. He probably spent years in exile thinking about Asgard it's natural he remembers all the details with his heart.
So I was thinking, if there is a ‘croky’ there must be a “ AlligaThor” 🤔……
Nah it is probably Frog Thor, from the animal avengers universe
When you get a whole series of Loki just because hulk took the stairs
Lmaooo Helll nahhh
when you mess up the multiverse because Hulk took the stairs
Loki hugging Mobius and calling him a friend and actually meaning it for the first time in his life has a lot more gravity to it
Did anyone notice that this Classic Loki is the closest Loki that we know for 10 years, who went through everything we've seen together, but faked his death in front of Thanos. He escaped and lived in a planet for thousands (maybe?) of years and have not forgotten Asgard by a single bit, thus recreating the Asgard illusion we see in EP5. This brought the Classic Loki death scene to another level.
Who said he was dead?
I like to think he got good with the illusion because he missed it and would create it to not feel alone on the planet

YES LOKI ULTIMATE BOSS YES RICHARD GRANT YES HE WHO REMAINS YES CLASSIC LOKI
I feel like This is the last episode of Richard E. Grant as Classic Loki. His sacrifice for a "Glorious Purpose" would have been for nothing if he survived or turned out to be "He who Remains".
I agree. In addition, i personally think he was laughing because he died "in glorious battle" he will end up in Valhalla.
Absolutely I don’t want them to ruin the terrific sacrifice he made so that maybe another Loki can reunite with his brother and with Asgard after this is over since he couldn’t do that.
I noticed something when I watched the episode and I haven’t seen anyone else talk about it. At 12:29 in this video you see Owen Wilson’s character driving the car with the pizza on the top. I’m 97% sure this was a reference to the Pixar universe. If you’re unfamiliar, in every Pixar movie there is a “Pizza Planet” car with a pizza on top of it. Of course, Owen Wilson played Lightning McQueen in the Cars movies, which were Pixar movies, and of course they all had the Pizza Planet car hidden in them. I thought this was a really cool reference, I don’t see how it could just be coincidence seeing how smart Marvel is. Let me know what you think!

@@goomylain2902 you shut your mouth!
I find it bizarre they did not have a variant of Loki look a frost giant, as if he turned back into one in a different timeline.
Couldn’t Loki losing his right hand be a nod to when he chopped off Thor’s in the dark world
I can really see it being some kind of evilest Loki. It would make sense why every Loki that tries to do good or change their ways is removed. They have to be evil for the "evilest Loki" to exist. Kid Loki does specifically say that any time one of them tries to change their path they're removed by the TVA, as well as explaining why Loki seems to be so common.
Yes that makes a lot of sense. Think back to the very first episode, why did Mobius want Loki’s help? Because Loki knows how Lokis think. A variant Loki might be the only person who could bring down evilest Loki so that’s why he wouldn’t want there to be any variants.
I really like that Loki's character has evolved a fair bit in this series from his 2012 one to something kind of similar to his character at the end of Ragnarok. His character arc from Thor 1 through to Infinity War has been my joint favourite comic villain arc along with Fisk/Kingpin in Daredevil Netflix series and Magneto in the Xmen movies!
I think his character evolved much more than the one we saw die in infinity war. In ep.4 he expressed his feelings a lot like he said 'he wants attention', also he's in love (with himself, or herself I should say) and he also made a friend (Mobius)!
I think thats cause the writers just wanted this Loki to feel as similar as possible to the one who died, since thats the best version of the character
I get why they’ve done it, but it really feels cheap to have him quickly catch up to the Ragnarok version in episode 1. Feels like his death might as well have not happened and they should’ve just continued that version into this. One of the great opportunities that could have come from it being Avengers 1 Loki is we could’ve seen a very different side of him and how his character grew.
@@Nurolight it wasn’t that quick. The time loop with Sif was a significant evolution for him and we don’t know how long that’s been, also time moves differently in the TVA so while it’s only been a few weeks for us we don’t know how long it’s been since 2012 for Loki
@@jasonsavory9748 Loki was in TVA for long enough for the injuries on his face to heal by the end of Ep2. Although, to be honest, the injuries look way better in the desert scenes than they should, considering Loki had JUST been slammed into the floor bu Hulk, so he probably heals faster than a human.
Feel like this is truly the epitome of easter egg filled shows. So many references all across the multiverse. Beautiful
My first thought when they said that “Everything the TVA prunes, ends up here.”, and they were joking about how TemPads must be “laying around all over the place”, I thought back to when that TVA officer pruned that guys cart filled with the infinity stones and other powerful/random things, so it must be there right? And since magic and their powers work wherever they’re at now, the stones must work then too, correct??? I was waiting for something like that to happen.. :/
The stones - I thought only worked in their OWN timeline. "TemPads must be "“laying around all over the place"”, I believe was sarcasm. Why would there be any TemPads- they are not pruned with a Pad on them!
The stones only work in the universe they were created in. The void just like the tva is not part of any universe, so the stones will not work there
@@sarinaa6421 endgame shouldn't have happened then

@@isobel361 I know they were being sarcastic, I’m just saying that since they mentioned them, they are talking like if they did miraculously come across one, it would work. So I thought since their magic works, and the tempads would work, maybe the infinity stones would work as well? And if the infinity stones only work in their original timeline, how is it that they worked when they took them from other timelines in EndGame? Just curious how that is the case?

What If the castle is just a prison for Kang? What if he manipulated the Loki’s so they would defeat Alioth and open the gate for him and that’s how he escapes into the MCU?

That and the yellow “Thanos” copter. This series is really well done. I’m enjoying it immensely! The plot and storyline are fabulous and the characters all work together to create a beautiful tapestry!
Really enjoyed Classic Loki disparaging the knives or daggers as elements that stunt the Loki magic. Feige's MCU Loki is SOOOOO nerfed and I hope this was a nod that Marvel has to power-up this Master of Mischief to the max and make him a REAL threat to his opponents instead of a punching bag.

I think it's King Loki behind everything. He's the one in the castle. He's the only Loki variant from the previews that we haven't seen yet. Our Loki will have to outsmart his more superior self.
I'm leaning this way as well!
I'm believing that the footage of King Loki we haven't seen yet is our Loki from the series, because he discusses with Sylvie that when this is all over he wants to rule. The setting looks just like Asgard too.

wait so does that mean our Loki canonically survived in endgame? Because he said his nexus event wasn't surviving, it was trying to leave isolation
Nope, the current loki is supposed to die at the hands of Thanos. Classic Loki didn't really create a nexus event when he disguised as a debris because he was presumed dead. The moment he wants to be with Thor again is what makes the nexus event happen
This is the best review out there. I would be lost without it.
I feel bad that Loki hasn’t got to change his clothes pretty much the whole series.
he cleans them with magic
Makes me sad, wish he got a kickass asgardian suit
It makes me mad that all these Loki’s are wereing there special suits and then you have our Loki in regular clothes
@@adrianhossler His was disintegrated.
Cause Disney want to sell that uniformed loki toy.
Richard E Grant is the one who remains? And he’s a Loki ? That would actually be a great reveal.
Honestly, if “hell” exist for a specific person then the Void is practically the perfect Hell for Lokis; to be thrown in a world where Lokis experience an endless cycle of betrayal and war, with themselves, for the vain obsession in getting “power and glorious purpose.” It is so horrible that even TVA Loki, a heavy narcissist, is getting sick of “himselves.” 😰
