Can we take a moment to mourn how Loki's greatest fear has come true? Sif had painfully and presciently said: "you deserve to be alone and always will be". Just when things have turned around and the story was looking bright for his future, Sylvie expels him to a timeline where he was truly alone, where no one knew nor recognised him. It was a truly cathartic and depressing moment.

The answer to “Why target Loki’s?” is LITERALLY in the script. In He Who Remains’s physical script which shows him in dialogue with 2 Lokis and that THAT is the point at which he knows nothing.
Also as Loki seems to be the most common variant seems like Loki's would be the only people to challenge him and the Loki's parallel all of the kangs

Just an idea: Kang picked on the Lokis because he wanted to die. He wanted the reset. He wanted the fresh start that he mentioned in the episode. It was his intent all along to be killed by a Loki. So he prunes them until one of them figures out how to get to his castle from the Void. They won't even know there is a void to cross if they don't get pruned.
Yep, he won the war conquered and destroyed all but 1 universe and removed free will from that loop, but was kinda lacking freedom because he had to constantly maintain the win. Nothing left to accomplish and alone at the end of time he caused. Die and Kangs get to play again.

The fact that Kang has a variant of himself that is ironlad that means he is similar in some regards to Tony Stark. Which means that ms minutes could very much be the natural extension of Friday and Jarvis.

I loved when He Who Remains told Sylvie "Grow Up!...You've murdered too"
The range of emotions that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) goes through when sent back to the TVA sitting there at the end is so real. That hit me hard. Much respect.
I just feel like if was so important to prevent a multiversal war, you might want to have some actual proof just in case you come off as a psychopathic, egomaniac liar who has spent eons convincing yourself that manipulating humanity was your moral duty. Seems like another Thanos who spent all of his precious time using others as a scapegoat to avoid dealing with his traumas.
I think he just didn’t care anymore after being there for millions of years. He just didn’t care anymore but couldn’t make the choice and had Loki make the choice for him. Too much weight
Yeah he didn't seem too bothered about being killed, he just gave them the two options and was ready to go with either of them, he didn't lose his cool or wasn't begging them to do one rather than the other he was just telling then this is where this could go.

I think What If is a perfect follow up. Loki created multiple timelines. So what if could be based on that. Could've had filmed it tho, rather than animating.
He did win a multiversal war, so his body count must be much higher than Thanos. Don't think he gives a shit about life or death after winning that. Either way, it probably doesn't matter much to him what happens anymore as he seemed done with life, so he probably chose an entertaining way for him to see how it plays out. He could have killed the 2 Loki's instantly if he wanted before the branches happened.

There aren't multiple versions of the TVA, it exists outside of time. But the past, present and future were changed when Sylvie stabbed He Who Remains, changing the timeline, hence why Mobius doesn't recognise Loki and the statue change
ok, but then the scene where Mobius and B15 are looking on the old tv monitor when the secret timeline branches grow, this two seems to be "our" people, our Mobius and B-15, while when Loki started to looking for them and then find them in library those two are a different ones what suggest it is not the same TVA at least I get that impression...
Nope I'm pretty sure the whole idea of the TVA being outside of time is only partially true. We know that Kang lied to the people in TVA so I'm sure this idea wasn't really true either. It may be outside the timeline of a particular reality, but its not outside of all of time and all realities, or it could be, but that doesn't exclude there being many of them. That end scene literally proves there are multiple versions all run by different Kang's.

I think it would be cool if the blue skin was temporary for “villain scenes” and explained as high tech nano skin armor or something like that. It just coats his skin in a cool indestructible layer and have the techs looking pattern or lines from the comics. That would allow Johnathan Majors to have his normal face for most scenes, but be comic accurate in combat and big monologue or “villain scenes” like Thanos and his armor or Tony and his armor.

YES! It’s why it’s called the time variants authority! Not the time line authority! He was killing off the kangs that may have traveled backwards from a branch timeline to rule the past. I have a feeling for some reason immortus or the one at end did not want to stifle the point where the kangs found out about the alternate realities. Hence the threshold.

Marvel is so good at not letting fans guess where they are going, for the past two shows we thought we are gonna see some big reveal at the last episode but it never happened. Now we learned to be conservative with our theories and they have a a big ass cameo reveal at the last episode. Wow marvel, well played

Maybe Loki’s aren’t particularly targeted, but instead; (and as we heard earlier) Loki’s don’t die, Loki’s survive. So maybe the reason we _see_ so many Loki variants in particular is because they have this ability to weasel out of almost any situation
I think the Loki's were there just to prep Sylvie and Loki to take the job. He Who Remains controls the smoke monster and says that their entire journey was planned to prep them for that. I think he only left the Loki's and Mobius alive to interact with them in the Void.

He was simply removing Loki's that didn't "fit the bill" to get to the ones that had a chance of being his successor. I don't think it had much to do with anything else.

I really... really... really... love *the endings* Thanos thought he won when he snapped his infinity stones, but Kang was/is/will always stuck in unsolvable dilemma, he's really desperate even though he's literally being a god but "the responsible" is beyond anything that human can comprehend, it's really good concept for movies about eternal being.
The MCU has proved that their not always just explosive action and CGI fights to end a project..
