WandaVision’s third episode, "Now In Color," jumps ahead to the 70s, in a Brady Bunch themed episode that featured creepy reality glitches, references to Quicksilver and Ultron, and Wanda's new children Billy and Tommy, aka the mutants and Young Avengers Wiccan and Speed in the Marvel comics. How does the Hydra soap connect to a similar simulated reality episode of Agents of SHIELD, and what does that tell us about the mission of SWORD, the off-shoot of SHIELD now monitoring Wanda and Westview? Erik Voss breaks down all the deeper Easter Eggs and hidden details that you missed in this episode of WandaVision, Season 1 Episode 3.

Perhaps why there are no children in any of the episodes
Oh that's good. Are they being helf captive by Agnes?
Are their kids mutants?

That's a very interesting theory as we now know that this is a real town which certainly has children of all ages. Chilling.
The Westview sign in the real world also reads “Home: It’s What You Make It”.

Agnes looked terrified at the end. Almost like she’s afraid of what someone will do if the false reality is broken.
Hydra Soak is definitely referencing the tesseract. A blue cube that can "take you anywhere"

Agnes' "pew pew" still drives me nuts cuz it seemed so random but upon rewatching, I think that guy's just a Westview police officer or sheriff that was hex'd into a mailman since the uniforms are as similar as a hazmat suit is to a beekeping suit. She's just teasing that he's a cop who usually would be doing the "pew pew"ing.
wow this is so good
Yeah i like that. The mailman is significant i feel either way. Hes the first character we see as wanda and vision arrive in town. I like the idea that hes a badguy, keeping an eye on everything as he does the mail rounds.
I feel like "I'm just the messenger" might mean something. I mean obviously it's a reference to "don't shoot the messenger" but maybe it has another meaning too?
@@ElBridge Definitely! Maybe he brought some bad news to the federal witness that went missing. I feel like that witness is playing a larger part than we know...

They broke the 4th wall a couple times which could be a reference to how their reality is literally crumbling. 🤯

Makes Sense. "Wiccan" and "Speed" are the kids. Wiccan (being in the womb) has Wanda's powers, so that's why the butterflies and the stork came to life and the reason the whole pregnancy went super super fast was because of Speed also being in the womb.😎😎
Mutant powers aren't supposed to reveal themselves until puberty. I know they aren't mutants in the MCU but in the comics Wanda and Pietro are children of Magneto, aren't they?

Hey Erik! Have you noticed or mentioned how WestView has the same initials as WandaVision? WV! Just something that was pointed out to me earlier today.
I've been having a thought running through my head for a bit now. Most people agree that Wanda is actually manipulating a real town. If that's the case, then there should be children in the town. But where are all the children? Maybe when they say "for the children" they mean the children of the toen, who might be being held hostage unknowingly by Wanda. So they are doing all this and going along with everything "for the children"
Oh damn
Good theory, although I think the “For the children” thing was more foreshadowing Wanda’s pregnancy. Especially since it was a chant, showing that they are all being controlled and everything is for Wanda. If it was truly for their own children, they’d say it more emotionally and to themselves, like Agnes would mention the children to Herb while telling him to stop
Also we see kids during the Halloween scenes (during the trailer)
Wait nothing on the " so hard to escape " that definitely means something

And Pietro's blue energy looked like that of the Space stone which in the comics gave the user the ability to "change the distance between objects in space, making them appear to move at super speed" but sadly Marvel never did anything with that.
Oddly, it seems like the MCU has the infinity stone powers all mixed up. Like Quicksilver utilizing the Space Stone, Captain Marvel weilding the Power Stone and Scarlet Witch clearly being the Reality Stone incarnate.

A part of me is thinking some of the community might be Skrulls. With SWORD and Monica having close connections to them and all.
I think the ending of this episode is a showcase of everything the mcu does so great. It’s such a small scene, nothing huge happens in it but it takes the rules and the character actions it set up to deliver a visceral payoff to what was an otherwise entertaining self contained installment.
I just wish the episodes were 5 mins longer. How hard could that be, really?
