Can we all give a huge round of applause for Wyatt Russell? He has done fabulous acting as John Walker.
Yep, absolutely agree. He's (Russel) been great in that role, totally engrossing to watch.
Yeah, honestly he has over delivered, he has made one of the most heart wrenching villains ever, you kinda heart brake over his fall from grace and you sympathize with him

Nice touch that he’s sleeping on the floor early in the season. Falcon had that squishy bed moment with Steve. Now buck is comfortable to sleep on his buddies couch. Love it .

Wyatt Rusell has acted phenomenal throughout the series. The way he is brought to this psychotic phase was so perfectly done.
Agreed! The character development from trying to stay cool to letting his inner demons out really shows, the foreshadowing and symbolism. Really cool!
True! I agree. His ticks and head tilts from the 4th episode gave me chills!
I dunno. He can't seem to sell the hardest part - "I convinced *them* but I don't know if I can convince *myself*". Other than that, I thought he was OK in the role.
@Alex Imig what? Really?

Also notice how John identifies himself as captain American, while in infinity war, the way Steve likes to introduce himself is as Steve Roger, thus showing John’s disillusionment that the title or rank he has been given makes him a hero
In Infinity War Steve was no longer going by Captain America. That is why the colors of the Red, White, and Blue muted on his costume and the star is taken off his chest(or blacked). It's not said(He's not called) but as a "criminal" on the run he has taken up his other comic alter ego, Nomad. This is why he doesn't identify as Captain America. Tho to be fair Steve usually goes with Steve Rogers first.
wyatt russell is such an amazing actor. his body language as he slowly reaches the psychotic break is just so so so good
Right? I actually felt bad for him during the opening scenes. Seems like he is lost and part of him regrets what he did.
Facts I felt bad for him he just saw his best friend die, the Government who he dedicated his entire life to serving tossed him aside (though he kind of deserved that for brutally killing a fugitive on camera but it's still sad from his POV) definitely a great actor playing an also awesome character

I love how the combination of Anthony Mackie's acting and the soundtrack makes you feel how disappointed he is in himself when he looked at the blood stained shield. Bucky's arm getting disabled: looked to me that it got electrified when he slammed into the column (power cable of some sort?). Reminded me of how Black Widow disabled it using an energy surge in Winter Soldier.
At first, I thought the impact of the hit to the column, and then him falling on the arm caused it to short out or something and I got upset because it's vibranium, and it would've withheld the impact, but looking at it again, it does look like he was electrocuted, and that's why he was out for so long.

"I dedicated my life to your mandates. I only ever did what you asked of me, what you told me to be, and train me to do, and I did it and I did it well. *You* built me. Senator, I am Captain America." I thought that line was pretty deep cuz it changed the meaning of the "America" in Captain America. Instead of representing purity of the individual like it did with Steve, it represents the brutality of the American government. Steve's personal integrity (shown clear by his abandonment of the American government) versus Walker's mandated brutality.
This is a good perspective. I see it more as aligning with what Isaiah said in the earlier episode. “I did what they asked me to do and they put my a** in jail.” It shows that the common enemy is the gov’t, and “captain America” is dispensable, and they don’t really care about the person behind the shield, just how it makes them look.

Dang, what a good analysis!!
GSP's character is actually saying ''I lost half of my team" translation of ''J'ai perdu la moitié de mon équipe``. The jail part is acurate.
Can we just give respect to Erik Voss? The best breakdowner ever
I concur 💯
IDk. He reaches a lot!

The Captain Falcon is born!!! This episode was totally awesome!
Thanks MT !!! You are the 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
Did anyone else catch that part when the two Flag Smashers whisper their motto to each other “One World, One People.” right before they begin their attack, that it oddly sounds similar to the whole “Hail Hydra.” motto? Funny how that shit works, huh? lol
EXACTLY!
Most likely a coincidence but the sign on the building Walker runs into reads "Gözübüyük Makine" (in Turkish) and Gözübüyük is a last name that translates to "someone with a big eye." Also, in the building you see "Bölükbaşı Makine" and here, Bölükbaşı is again a last name in Turkish that translates to "Sergeant" (specifically during the time of the Ottoman Empire), it's behind Bucky to the right in the scene where he is bathed in light.
Helal olsun ben görmemiştim
Could be like the Power Broker wall mural they had in Madripore, like Big Brother is always watching
“We could’ve been a team...” some time earlier “Stay the hell out of my way!”
And then it was always him getting into their way 🙄🙄
But he asked for team before that. He said this only after they rudely rejected his request.
@@devyadav3273 he was rude to them in the first place, wanting them not as partners and equals but as sidekicks, if they accepted his request that would mean they have no self-respect lol
I'm glad I'm not the only one that heard Cap's End of the Line theme playing. It fit so perfectly, and plus it's such a nice score
One of the best episodes or heck the best episode in the series so far. Just so much good stuff in the episode.
