  • all the Earth locations on the monitor are listed as "Tokyo, Japan" or "Dartford, England" or whatever, but then you've got "Xandar," "Titan," or "Jotunheim." i know it's just a matter of practicality IRL, they couldn't really invent a city with a historical event on Hala or wherever on the spot, but it's amusing to think of Sylvie causing an event so big that it shakes ALL OF HALA at the same time

  • Anyone point out that Renslayer talks about how Loki wasn't supposed to go off with the Tesseract. . . but He Who Remains *had* actually planned it with their dialogue of future conversations. So clearly Loki WAS supposed to take the Tesseract. AKA he's not guilty. lol

  • Slyvie sent a "Time Bomb" to the current MCU timeline. (Spider-Man No Way Home) Dr Strange's elder magic(Soul Energy) turns purple once things get whacky. That was the moment she choose, causing an amplified effect on the Multiverse. That is how He Who Remains knows that "a" Loki is the key to his whole plan & "a" Loki is the key to his defeat.

    • Mobius said that Ragnarok led to the death of "most" of the people of Asgard, so there were less than 9,719 survivors on the ship. Which is weird because the Thor coronation (Thoronation?) scene had way more than 20K people in the crowd.

  • I have figured out the Kingsport, TN event. This is 100% true, this moment in time is when I started playing for the Johnson City/Kingsport Ultimate Disk team named Burnt Toast. I just didn't realize that this was seen by the rest of the world as an extremely important event. ...but I'm sorry, for what it's worth.

  • Little Easter egg here: When you’re talking about the different Loki variants illusion casting vs. duplication casting - and you cut to “Germany” in 2012 Avengers- it was actually filmed in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio. So it’s kind of ironic since Mobius is a jet ski salesman in Cleveland🤣

    • I thought of this too. I wondered if the statue was broken because of the cruelty of He Who Remains own destiny. His love for his variant like Sylvie and Loki may be a causal event that could destroy realities and create a new one. Perhaps this is what the sacred timeline is. After all Love was the central uniting theme of the last phase. I could see the sacred timeline as the reincarnation of He Who Remains history with Rennslayer in an attempt to have what he wants... If Sonies themes play into our multiverse this may end in catastrophe. Such as happened to Miguel O'Hara. Hence why He Who Remains ensures the timeheist always happens. Because this event is what creates the infinite multiverse and infinite causal realities.

  • About the whole Fenrir/Fenris thing. The correct name is Fenris, it is combinations of two words. Fen mean reed, and ris meaning (in this context) a bunch of something. Another fun tidbit, Nidavellir in the myths was part of Svartalfheim.

    • @@EM-ke8is but he was using the sacred timeline to systematically eliminate all other Kang variants aside from himself. Kang didn't "come back" until Sylvie killed He Who Remains. The second he died, Kang (all of him) returned to existence. That's why we haven't seen him in the MCU up until now, because he was eliminated infinitely up until that moment.

  • Cookeville, TN is about halfway between Nashville and Oak Ridge. Oak Ridge is one of the 3 original sites of the Manhattan Project. Maybe some disaster happened in Oak Ridge and the fallout was far enough out to reach Cookeville?

  • I just had a theory when you mentioned the holding out for a hero song! I'm wondering if maybe this was foreshadowing a possible connection she has to the 80s, giving a reason why she goes to the 80s in this new season. I'm not sure what the connection could be but it could be as simple as she went there during the 80s and loved it so she wanted to go back and since she's been to earth in the 80s that's why she picked that song to fight all these guards to and why she picks that exact time and place to go escape to. She could've gone anywhere and anytime, and she chose to go there for some reason, or perhaps she didn't choose and she is going through a similar thing as main loki where she is time skipping but maybe she has better control or it effects her differently since they aren't the same loki, and maybe they need to be together in order to prevent that from happening

  • I lived in Cookeville, TN during the time listed. I can personally attest that nothing exciting happened. I think the TN references are referring to the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), the major supplier of electricity to the whole region.

  • I'm from Kingsport as well, and have been trying to figure out the date all this time. I would have been in high school. Also have been trying to figure out why Kingsport and whether they definitely meant my Kingsport. All my research points to that there's no other real life Kingsport in the US (or the world), there are several fictional ones however, included from Lovecraft's works, and there was a Marvel comic featuring that Kingsport (dates don't fit with that though). I thought maybe the two Tennessee locations (Cookeville also being definitely in Tennessee) might have to do with our TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) Kingsport a filming location for the movie The River . Interesting side note. I used to live near Dartford as well when hubby was working on VFX for Infinity War/Endgame, but he wasn't involved with Loki at all.
