The Duke of Edinburgh has been transferred to St Bartholomew's Hospital in London for continued treatment, where he is expected to remain until at least the end of the week.
Doctors are continuing to treat Prince Philip, 99, for an infection, following a 13-night-stay in a different hospital. They will also undertake testing and observation for a pre-existing heart condition.
The duke is responding to treatment and "remains comfortable", Buckingham Palace added.

Both him and the Queen are soooo old and have lived AMAZING lives. It’s crazy how long they have been alive and how active they both still are. I feel like the Queen will never die honestly... even her son Prince Charles is considered a senior citizen, that’s how old she is!
Don’t be too sure maybe this year he will have his last breath, there’s nothing we can do about that and we can’t blame 2021 for that....

This is all really a bit indelicate. Why should his very personal problems with peeing be grist for public consumption? The fact that he's been transferred from a private to an NHS hospital by NHS ambulance shows that we absolutely DO NOT NEED a privatised national health service.

IMO we do not need the royals any longer, they seem more of a detriment than benefit, though I hope he recovers-from a human perspective that does not wish harm on anyone.

Possible Congestive Heart Failure as that can linger for years. At the age of 99, palliative care is probably realistic.

HRM has had more than enough heartache in her life, particularly of late. At the end of the day she's a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her "rock and stay" is very obviously on borrowed time. She's had decades of putting on a brave face and I expect she always will, but you don't have to be psychic to know she must be going through hell. I don't see royalty or politics ... I see a very elderly woman whose waning years have been far from kind. Those unfamiliar with compassion need to step back and see people, not titles. Haters need to check their ignorance and vitriol at the door.
