A royal expert has told how he watched Meghan Markle and Prince Harry rip apart royal staff.
Speaking on The Sun’s new show, Royal Exclusive, Richard Palmer revealed there were always “huge inquests” after every engagement the duke and duchess carried out.
It comes as the royal couple this week hired a new communication officer, Charlie Gipson, who will represent them in the UK.
Mr Palmer was quick to point out that things were not smooth sailing with their last comm secretary - Sara Latham.
US born Latham, who formerly worked for Hilary Clinton, was placed in charge of the couple while they were still working royals.
However, she was forced to deal with a PR storm when a bullying complaint was raised against Meghan - which saw 10 royal aides be interviewed by the palace.
Speaking to The Sun’s Matt Wilkinson, Mr Palmer explained: "Sara was in a really difficult situation. She was caught between a rock and a hard place.
“She was trying to be loyal to the people who employed her - Harry and Meghan - and she was getting pelter from the press because of the way they were behaving.
“There were staff in the royal household complaining about the way Harry and Meghan were treating them .
“I’ve certainly spoken to people who have said that nothing they did for them was ever right - and there was always a massive inquest after every royal engagement that they did.
“It would be: ‘Why did we do this? Why did you say that?’ I think it was really difficult for a lot of people.”

She not only sent emails at 5am but kicked off when they were not answered immediately. She was spoken to by Queen Elizabeth II because of the way she shouted at the staff when she accused them of putting egg in a vegan dish. She had her staff make banana bread on their 2018 Australian visit - over and over again until she was happy. She allegedly threw a cup of hot tea at one of Admiralty house staff in Oz.. Meghan expected to get the whole of Admiralty House to stay during their tour, but she only got a wing of it. Maybe you don't believe it but many people do.

I don't see why Catherine should have to say if the photo is edited or not. They are her photos and she can do whatever she wants to them. The press needs to understand that pictures taken by the Princess are not the same as those taken by professional photographers. She is choosing to share them with the world and is not paid for them, so the expectations are very different. These are pictures the press would not get at all were it not for Catherine taking them, so they should appreciate it and stop harassing her over them.

The press is having to accept Catherine's photographs in place of photographs taken by professional photographers. The issue about the Mother's Day photograph was that Catherine looked in the very pink of health, but many people thought this gave a misleading impression considering that a few days later she announced but she was having "preventative" treatment for some unspecified kind of cancer that apparently had been discovered as a result of surgery for a non-cancerous condition. Some people thought that the royal family was being deliberately disingenuous. Okay, they are entitled to privacy, but in that case why do they employ professional press officers and publish photos on social media if they do not wish to communicate with the public?

It is ANZAC DAY here in Australia, and when I think that H made a mockery of the Commonwealth Services and M marching in front of the service men and women at Invictus I get upset and beyond. Are we being asked to believe that Harry never ripped on his staff all the years he lived before he met this woman? I feel like he would have been acting this way his whole life. It was the Royal Foundation who founded the Invictus Games with a great deal of staff and ex military personnel involved. Then William and Catherine handed it over to Harry. He never founded it by himself. At that time he was a part of the Royal Foundation headed by William.

For several reasons I'd be surprised if they do: 1) they will be hounded by the press for their stories, 2) if they talk about H & M, they also give them the right of reply so it could put them right back in the sights of the two people who allegedly bullied them 3) they would likely be harrassed by H & M's supporters - and if some journalists had death threats for writing about the couple then would those staff members want that risk, however small? 4) going public is a career risk. It's the golden rule of inteview technique: no matter how appalling your former boss was, no matter how stressful the job, you never, ever speak negatively about it to a potential employer. They have no way of knowing if they can trust you not to go public about them. Some of these staff members experienced great stress and one is said to have had PTSD. They may feel that their health is more valuable than the months of stress they'd have if they went public about H & M.

My goodness, photos for shelter animals are often photoshopped to remove unnecessary backgroud things such as leashes, fences other animals, etc. It's not to fraudulently represent the animal. It's to make the animal's appearance clear. The bashing by the press of Catherine was also not necessary, it was also completely idiotic.
The problem is that the photo was released to the international news agencies (AP, UPI, REUTERS) by the Palace. Such photos are considered "historical record", and the agencies do not accept altered photos. It was assumed that her photo was not altered.

There is nothing in the photograph to even indicate they are members of the Royal Family although everyone knows they are. The news agencies get these photographs for free (unlike many non Royal pictures) and it is news publications that make the money off them.

This is a Team Game where the successful ones realize that the public judge them by the support they give the King (or the late Queen) and not themselves, this amply demonstrated by the Princess Royal. This is a concept that is totally alien in places like the US with the "Royal watchers", as all they have to compare it against is the shallow self-serving world of Celebrity and frivolity & excess which, very regrettably for us, Ms Markle and Mrs Wallis Simpson personified.
