Blinken says China helping fuel Russian threat to Ukraine | BBC News

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has warned Washington will act if China does not stop supplying Russia with items used in its assault on Ukraine.
Speaking to the BBC in Beijing, the US's top diplomat said he had made clear to his counterparts they were "helping fuel the biggest threat" to European security since the Cold War.
He did not say what measures the US was prepared to take.
But Mr Blinken was also keen to stress progress had been made in some areas, which included Beijing’s efforts in stopping supplies of the drug fentanyl reaching the US.

    • Normally because the BBC is a rancid network trying to moralise all this, I would agree with you. But its more that china for the longest time and still even now is a rotten country; everybody knows this and are tired of being gaslit by china for things that simply can't come true. Now it comes time to take matters into our own hands, which will be very satisfying for everyone. Eventually most people in china will be sitting in the dark, poor, and probably tying to farm potatoes as that will literally be one of the only viable foods to keep them alive when machinery and fertilizer and everything else currently mass produced can't be possible. Its not too far away than you think - it was only 50 years ago not much was there; in something similar to 25 years thats how its heading back, or do you think all that maintenance is going to pay for itself? They don't even build warships solid enough. What - do you think we are all going to work to keep china alive and kicking for all the warm fuzzy feelings it provides or ha ha the highs they are getting in the USA? No way. But keep trolling those talking points.

  • China and Russia are normal trading countries, China is not a party to the war between Russia and Ukraine, and China has not sent any weapons to Russia.
