    • 3/3 Why GLA? Because it started as a kind of an off-road crossover, but AMG nerfed all of that by giving it skinny tires, large wheels and a low hanging body kit that doesn't like to be scraped

  • My favorite AMG Cars: 1) SL65 Black Series - Such an underrated monster. A brutal V12 exhaust note, flared body fenders and gorgeous looks 2) That ridiculous CLK GTR, which I think is one of the great "mythical" sports cars. So iconic, yet so incredibly rare. More valuable than most Ferraris, Koenigseggs, Bugattis and Paganis. 3) AMG GT63s - a controversial choice, but I think its a great daily driver with sublime performance. Well either this or a G63 AMG

  • The S class featured at 0:14 is actually an 860 horsepower car,that had it’s complete drivetrain and electronics swapped to a CL65 amg.It’s definitely one of the craziest things on the road,Mercedes KO860

  • I would add the A32 AMG and A36 AMG prototypes in the 2000... A freaking 3.2 V6 in a 1st Gen A Class. And later a Bi-Motor (2 tuned 1.9 4 Cylindres) A-Class. I love these guys, they were insane...

    • You forgot to mention that V6 was supercharged, taken straight from an SLK AMG. That's 350 hp in an A-class, which is "that one car that rolled over if you tried to dodge something".

    • The two 1,9 liter I4 engines from the A 190 weren't tuned for the A 38 AMG, but this Bi-Motor car is insane nonetheless. The A 32 AMG made by HVA is way faster with its compressor engine.

  • i will never forget the story about the R63 back then i just recently came to know about its existent, when i talked about it with a friend, we researched how many were built and were astonished that there were so few of this wicked car as i leave said friends house and go about 100 meters I F*KING SEE THE THING PARKED THERE it did look like what we saw online (badges, large quad oval pipes) but of course it could have been fake all i know is, it had plates from another city and weve never seen it there before (and never again after)

    • That why u hate body kits nowadays, you can't tell the fake from the original unless you pop the hood to see the AMG engine cause nowadays body kits comes with AMG rim's, AMG steering wheels, exhaust and everything. You can now even get a AMG package from the mercedes itself for your 4 liter c300 🤦🏽💔

  • The car that flipped was *not* the CLK GTR, it was in fact the *CLR*, which was, basically, an evolution of the CLK. But nonetheless, different machine.

    • ​@@magnustan841 the SL 63, AMG GT and G63 4x4 are good but still cost over 180k at dealership's the old G63 4x4 goes for up to 250k . All of this are expensive most people can't afford. And almost all AMG below 100k except the will get a i4 or V6 engine with hybrid even the new e63. So it's not just one hybrid it's many

  • So glad that the clks were featured in this video. I have a clk 55 amg w208(the one at 10:44 ) that’s been sitting in the driveway for over 10 years! And finally Just 2 months ago it was put into the shop to be fixed. And soon to be on the road again by the end of next month. I’m so glad that the paint on the car only began to chip this year after having sat for 10 years through all 4 seasons.

  • There too is another FWD and Diesel AMG, it was the MB100D AMG from the late 1980s back when Aufrecht, Melcher and Grossaspach was pre-merged with AMG, quite similar to the Porsche B32 it was tuned by them and had factory parts which came with upgraded seats, body kit, new paint and displacement increase and a turbocharger which some of those were tuned by Brabus as well used as transporters too for racing

  • I was expecting the C 63 AMG Black Series (W204) and SLS AMG but still it's an awesome video! Good job mate! And yeah i completely agree with you that AMG is getting boring. Except the AMG One, GT, the new SL and the G 63, i find all the AMGs boring. And i still can't believe that the new C 63 AMG has a 4-cylinder engine, i mean okay it's faster but the transition from the V8 to 4-cyl directly is just unbelievable.

    • I like the new C63, but I also wonder what AMG were smoking. People who work there have said on record the new C63 could have maintained a V8 of some sort, but they wanted that F1 hybrid tech in the car, so they went the lighter engine, at the expense of some of their customers. I say some, because I’m sure there are buyers out just who are just looking for a compact autobahn missile. Only in our circles does 100% of C63 owners talk about noise and exhaust and all that. Still, AMG cannot look past the comments and opinions about their new car. I hope for their sake they develop a new 6-cylinder of some sort. They are getting a lot of hate Mail and it’s ugly.

    • @@magnustan841 Yeah you're right. I was expecting a V6 engine but when they came up with a 4-cylinder I was completely shocked. I mean the new C 63 is faster and more high tech than ever but the transition to 4-cyl is just unbelievable! The thing is I don't have any hate for the new C 63, it looks good to me and it's F1 tech is quite innovative but the 4-cyl part completely shocked me and then it's the fact that it's heavier than the Audi RS6 I am still asking why the 4-cyl. I mean 670hp is a lots of power but then to race against a much lighter BMW M4 in a 2 ton+ saloon you need that much power.

  • My favourite AMG will always be the C215 CL 65 AMG with 604 bhp. It still looks very pretty, clean and elegant, is very luxurious, tech way ahead of its time and also brutaly fast.

  • slk amg 55 black series (r171 gen ) is in my opinion one of the most out of the world car.. Literally company made what some youtubers are trying to do, which is fit enormous engine with load of power into 2 seater roadster/cabrio xD Its just insane.

  • Excellent list, but you’re forgetting two of them: the originals A32K and A38 AMGs. One of them (A38) had the motor located at the back to propel the rear wheels instead of the front. Both were too ridiculous to sell as production vehicles but we’re still outrageous one-offs.

  • The best AMG creation is obviously the 'Rote Sau' (the Red Sow), a Mercedes 300SEL 6.3 bored out to 6.8L which came 2nd overall at the 1971 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps despite having to change tyres every 3rd lap.
