Or is there? Hmmm…
Hey guys, Stype here, bringing you a list of the Top 7 Really Fast Cars

So everytime Jaguar tried to make a supercar, a global crisis started... 🤔🤔🤔
Very sus indeed
It's well known the XJ220 was sabotaged from not only the global crisis, but due to internal issues in Jaguar itself. Maybe the CX75 suffered the same fate?
So will a interplanetary crisis happen if they tried to make a hypercar
@@rydersherm2490 Not really, in a crisis it is not a good look to buy an outrageously expensive car. This is not new, in the great depression, people were hiding their luxury cars, probably trying to avoid being lynched. I can remember something about a V16 Caddy that was hidden, then it sort of got forgotten for a while before being rediscovered. Sounds strange? You should look up the story about the prototype WWII de Havilland Mosquito aircraft that was hidden in a barn to stop it from being junked, it worked, the thing is now restored, but buy a property and find a semi-forgotten, unique aircraft in one of the outbuildings. Okay, some of the details might be wrong, it has been along time since I originally read about it but the main gist of the story is correct. The internal issue for the XJ220 was actually Walkinshaw (who built the Xj220 for Jaguar) releasing the XJR15 , a road going (sort of) version of the Silk Cut, XJR-9, a V12 Le Mans (outright) winning racing car. He also convinced Jaguar (probably rightly) that the V12 Xj220 prototype was too big, too heavy, too complicated, etc and the simplified V6 would be better. Silly, really, people were not buying it for performance but for status and the glorious V12 soundtrack. Funnily enough, the V6 sounds pretty good and very aggressive when pushed.
Fr had it made it to production the cx75 would have sold like the p1 and 918
A Danny Trejo joke, and Stype is still alive... the man is a legend!
It’s not Liam Neeson or, in the worst case, Norris joke.
Dude made a fake boobs joke while showing a pic of "caitlyn" Jenner in another video and isn't canceled. 😮
@jamescahn87 give it 2 more years and a reach to a total of 1 million subscibers... Hope things are better in 2 years though
More humor in this car video than Comedy Central presents in a week. OUTSTANDING CHOICES and laugh out loud brilliant humor.
Thanks Lou!
I subbed for the LOL's oh, and the cars were pretty dope too! Faster than a cancelled Gym membership in Feb! KEK !!!
I expect to be a Koenigsegg Gemera with 2L I3 Twin Turbo that produce 600 HP!!
Me too
Wait doesnt it produce 600hp with the help of electric motors?
@@themuffincat no. It's all 600 HP from the engine ALONE! The total horsepower should be 1700 HP with the help of the electric motors.
@@themuffincat the gemera make 1700 HP the 3 cylinder alone makes around 600 HP the electric motor makes 300 HP and there is 3 of them
I think everyone did
There's a reason this car channel is one of my top all time favorite's. It's incredibly biased, has no filter, and names off cars that sometimes even I never knew existed. But, it gets to the mest and potatoes, makes points that I actually consider and book into my memory, and is damn entertaining. You're up there with Throttle House, Stype. Also you have a very pretty face accorsing to that decade old photo.
I think Koenigsegg Gemera is an honorable mention too. A 1.9 liter hybrid by Williams making 600hp just from the gas motor! The whole thing’s got 1677hp. Insane.
Exactly my thoughts too
I thought it was gonna be at No 1... Its really crazy its not at 1
The turbo s is proably the most efficient, sports/supercar you can buy, even being able to gap a plaid from 0 to 80 till it catches but it was only 600 hp. Crazy to think about it like that.
Plaid couldn't even beat a normal 911 Turbo , so if its turbo s then there's no fucking chance for it
Catches? After 80 miles the 911 pulls away even more.
@@locom7657 does not, watch throttle house the 911 turbo s evens with the plaid at first then the plaid out runs it.
Proably ? 🤔
@@robloxcreator4376 Porsche groupies love to make up sh!t... LOL!! Porsche won't even tell the public what the car really pushes on over boost. Because they want it to look like an over achiever. Only 600hp my ass, you believe that I have a 3 dollar bill I'd like to sell you for 5 bucks.... dummies.
The Bugatti EB110SS that came out around the same time as the XJ220 with similar spec was probably worth a mention… It had a 3.5l quad turbo 60 valve V12 that put out 603hp and managed 0-62 mph in just over 3.4 seconds. The cylinder count may not be small, but the capacity was.
Yes, that's a good pick
Underpowered. They should have increased the bore, instead of destroking it.
In Formula 1 in the 1980s (the turbo generation) there were 1.6ltr 4 cylinder turbo charged engines putting out 900-1000bhp! The ultimate was a BMW version that could output possibly up to 1500bhp in qualifying trim! In the early 80s!
This channel should have more recognition!!! It's unique
props
Yes, making comments like "douchebag" will give them recognition as lacking neutrality and integrity.
I still don't understand why Jaguar still don't grace us with that mighty CX-75 today!!
They're just more focused on the EV future these days, which is a shame. For us, real petrolheads EVs just isn't something to be excited for.
I know right! They are putting their most sucsessful models out of production.
@@justastratos3148 jag is going electric because their old models didn’t sell…
Rip Jag 💀💀

I love the meme tie-ins in the videos. Great job Stype 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Excellent content as usual!😀
Literally the only car channel that cares about jags, you need more recognition!
Most underrated car channel. Keep them coming.
Appreciate the frequent uploads brother. 👍
Awesome video. The humour is on point. I hope everyone watching is subscribed because it takes a lot of work to produce a video like this.
Awesome presentation. I did not know some of these cars existed. Great compilation of information!
This is probably the best auto review channel. Jokes apart THIS IS THE BEST auto review channel on KZhead.
Lightness and power is just such a magic combination, that's why older hot hatches feel more fun than modern ones because they are just too heavy now
I never felt its guy is amazing act from explaining cars that I didn't know about and he's is humor is great even a comedy as well haha 😆 I hope u this man got alot of subs and views in the future, keep it up 🗿👌
Been looking forward to this one! Thanks top cars you deserve millions of subscribers, great content!
Keep doing the good work and presenting the car related topics in a humours way
Most entertaining video I've seen in quite a while, THANKS MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
gemera deserves an honourable mention
This is the "my type of car content" with great sense of humor. Hope to see this channel in million subs soon 😉

For the impressive content you are giving.. You are really underrated..
Stype deserves more subs !
As always, great content. How about doing a list of most disappointing family or fast cars and what could make them better.?
Hey, thanks, and I already did a list of disappointing cars
The Bugatti EB110SS that came out around the same time as the XJ220 with similar spec was probably worth a mention… It had a 3.5l quad turbo 60 valve V12 that put out 603hp and managed 0-62 mph in just over 3.4 seconds.
amazing vid keep it up !
@te-le-gramTopCars_Tv idk man
Loved this …but the Alpha 4C would be another in the power to weight ratio honorable mentions
And not just power to weight, it's bloody fast period. Add to that it's not that expensive considering the performance. Much faster than the specs would suggest on any twisty bit of tarmac.
Bro your editing is funny af😂
Where is there 1.6 turbo Honda engines! ? Lol great video and jokes once again. Love it! 🎉
Man, stype is the type of guy who makes a video u immediatly love
Showed this video to my wife. She fell on the floor holding her sides because of the pain from laughing so hard. When she had recovered I helped her to stand asking what was so funny. Red faced my wife looked at me as I was from another planet. Shaking her head my wife said that when top performace is needed there is no option but size. Smiling at me she went on to say "bigger is always better baby." We did not have time to talk about it any more as she had to leave for her weekly class in rug hooking. Damn that girl has been studing rug hooking in these classes for 18 months now and I have yet to see a single rug.
Man, with the CX-75, it really was a damn shame.
Honorable Mentions: 1. BMW i8 2. Mercedes-AMG Project One (I think) 3. Lancia 037 Stradale
2.Mercedes amg A45?
@@nolesy34 Hmmm, i'm pretty sure the last time I saw the A45 it didn't have a hood like that...
@@MrSupersonicRock still want (one)
Damm, the CX-75 was beautiful. It tops out the 918 and the P1 in terms of looks easily, only losing to the LaFerrari.
I don't agree. But it's your opinion
@@kilotiger7780 Nice behavior! Finally someone on the internet that actually understands what an opinion means without having a stupid reaction or an argument. Which is the best looking of Trio for you, though?
@@nicolasgoncalvespereira655 Argh that's a tough one. They say modern cars don't have character and all look the same. Well this is an exception. All four are amazingly and uniquely designed with beauty but also functionality in mind. That's what makes them so timeless. For me however the reason why I don't think the cx75 has a better design than the Porsche and the mc is because it is a much safer design and not as daring and for that reason i think it has aged a bit more than the other 3. However, this is just my opinion. I might be wrong. At the end of the day,all 4 are pinnacles of engineering and technology that to this day still manage to look jaw dropping
@@kilotiger7780 Exactly my thoughts. It's called the "Holy Trinity", not only because of their spetacular achievements and engineering, but especially because even though they are modern supercars, they look achingly beautiful. Most modern supercars look generic, repetitive and undistinctive. But not these 4 don't. They will age well and always look good. The holy grail of automotive industry.
@@nicolasgoncalvespereira655 Exactly my thoughts. Cheers!
There is also the Alpine A110 which got a 1.8L 4 cylinder engine producing 252 HP in the entry model and 282 HP in the most powerful version I think
Civic type R did that too. it's not as impressive as most of these cars on the list
Title : Top 7 cars where size doesn't matter Me : wish I was treated like those cars
The F40 was the first where the company advertised the 200mph barrier was crossed, but the first car that was released that could truly do it was the Porsche 959
The 959 topped out at about 196/197 mph, it's the 959s that broke the 200 mph mark. It doesn't matter though, because the 959 was a homologation special, not an actual production car like the F40 was. So the F40 still gets to claim the first production car to break 200 mph. Now some may want to argue that the Dodge Challenger actually did it first, but even that isn't true. Because the one that did reach 200 was a race modified vehicle. A Daytona that got sold out of a showroom wasn't the same as the one that hit 200 mph, and again the version that hit 200 was once again a homologation special which was made so Dodge could race that design.
KZhead algorithm failed me. Coz whyyy I'm I only discovering this channel today!??? ... Well now I'm hooked!
Welcome aboard 😉
911 turbo s is work of art🔥🔥🔥
They really have done a good job of making into something of a pretty car
I came for the puns and you never disappointed 😂👌🏼
As always, your videos never fail to entertain!
I hate it when there's a crisis. It cancels the all upcoming cars.
Nice list. I'm surprised you did not include Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, tho
I love this channel
Sorry, I omitted to comment: great video, thank you very much.
I got depressed the moment Jag announced they cancel the production
I just watched all your videos :)
Anyone noticed when the video ends and he said “What A Car” the moment he said “Car” a car video showed up in that exact second 😂
Not having the koeinegsegg Gemera is a crime
It's not. Gemera is not a good pick
@@TopCarsTV it fits in good tho, 600 hp form a 3 cyl
@@svgaming2716 I know. Still not a good pick
One of the best channels out here on KZhead 👌
koeinsegg gemera has left the chat
These cars prove that it's all about performance and style!🤩🤩
Modern cars need over 600 HP to reach 200 MPH. My cousin's old Passat caravan with about 100 HP (or maybe even less) capable of reaching 270 KPH.
So if Jag would release the cx75 today it should be a huge hit. A beautiful car - far nicer than anything you've seen from them in the last 2 decades.
My brother/sister in Christ, a global fucken crisis occurs every time Jaguar tries to make a hypercar; they probably do *_NOT_* wanna go 3 for 3
By the way: I subscribed and gave you a thumbs up!
I still want to know why you thought the gemera wasn't worth the list yes it's expensive as fk and mostly electric but since when was 600hp from a 2L not an achievement. still a great list and vid
This video isn't about small engines with lots of power, but fast cars with small engines. Gemera is fast mostly because of electric motors, and that's why it's not going in the list. Having a small but punchy engine doesn't change that. It's like that part in Top Gear when they mocked American Green Car of the year - Cadillac Escalade Hybrid with 5.7L V8 and a small battery.
@@TopCarsTV yeah I get that But you've got to be impressed by the engineering, I can't stop imagining something like an a110 with this engine Or maybe in an "entry level" smol ferrari back with the dino badge Hell, even in something like a gr yaris. Yes gemera might not be a fast car with small engine but the possibilities are limitless. But then again I'm confused why such big manufacturers won't make something like this, I don't think they can't.
I think the video should be based on "only" Gasoline running cars, hybrid electric motors paired with an engine doesn't hold a candle to me
The edits and memes are killing me😂
hahaha, referring to the ferrari as douche bag killed me! love the channel, dudes funny af
9:08 I wondered when you're going to talk about the Mercedes AMG 1,especially after you talked about his brother, the Mercedes c63se performance, and aspecially when the AMG 1 makes more power, from an even smaller(although a not a 4 cylinder) formula 1 grade v6 turbo hybrid engine, that producing around a 1000+ horsepower, that, from my calculation, means that it's almost as, I'd not more efficient then the c63se performance.
Id say The Alfa Romeo 4c is pretty fast, at least on the track for a 1.7l
Dude wasn’t lying about the next vid being about small engines( go to the most overlooked cars vid and check for the replies under my comment to understand it)
Turbo is a displacement supplementer, the mazda is 1.3 but the turbo ensures it ingests more than that in volume of air... An engine is a pump a turbo is a pump on pump makes air compressed and dense then stuff the other pump so 1.3 is the static displacement but not the final
Proof bigger isn't better sometimes... 1: BMW I8 2: Mercedes-Benz supercar with F1 engine (forgot it's name lmao) 3: Lancia 037
mercedes benz amg one
I8 and AMG one Germans are hell of making most power to litre output
NYC William engineering 😇👌
Sad that the Koenigsegg Gemera didn't made it
Or bmw i8
I think it depends...personally on a circuit I think a bigger displacement is better than forced induction because there's no surprises: You push the gas, you have gas. In turbocharger you have lag, in supercharger you have parasitic loss that makes the engine feels heavy and increase the time to rev just like a heavy flywheel. A big naturally aspirated engine can have more low end torque for corner exit and keep the revs "light".
With sequential turbos and hybrid systems there is no lag.

I have never enjoyed a car video like this 😂
9:51 That killed me 😂🤣
The eco-boost Mustang is pretty quick for a small displacement engine.
F40's getting kinda old. Jason Fiske looked like a teenager back then. Awesome video editing by the way!
MAN!!! CX 75 ....what a perfectly balanced design!!!!
Yes indeed! A truly gorgeous car
I just love your videos guys all the way from South Africa🥺🔥🤟🏿
Hi @Stype187, i love your videos, but can you bring back the old underground song please, the old one makes the video much more beautiful
My buddy slapped a cold air intake, & some dangerously fast stickers on his resto-modded Yugo GT last week. He now calls it the "Gappasaurus Wrecks!"
The mentions are the bmw i8 amg one and lancia 037 stradale
In the seventies I owned 3 minor models BMWs with 2 liter engines, and past 100 horsepower, which was much and impressive by that time (Also the fuel consumption)! Today I drive a 1500cc Peugeot diesel, with 102 horsepower, and faster than the first, and using much, much less fuel doing it!
Finally, its like christmas morning when you make new videos
Finally a new video
There is the Koenigsegg Gemera too
The most serious contender isn't even there ! Since you spoke about abandoned or failed project, there's another one, called Peugeot Oxia, which was ready for production, but never did. The Peugeot Oxia, was the earliest ultimate speed record breaker, way before most of the famous cars. It only use a 2.85 L Twin Turbos V6, with a 680 HP. This engine was a direct detuned version of the ultimate speed record holder in a competition, which have been set on 24H of LeMans. This Oxia was literally a spaceship back at the time it went out. 4WD 4WS, active Aero, Solar cells to power the Aircon to keep maximum engine power, electronic magnetic injectors, the key was an electronic card, and much more things we're only getting nowadays 40 years later.
Yeh they'll break the sound barrier .... The undertakers will love it !
"...with a spinning Dorito in it..." 🤣
I like ur vid keep on posting these
The CX75 is a tragedy. The 2008 can't explain it all. Ferrari, Porsche and McLaren sold out their hyper cars, the CX75 was far along. It was almost ready and had hype around it.
