I bought a crash damaged 2019 Aston martin vantage 3 months ago and started to rebuild it. Ive since modified it & have been given the all clear from Aston Martin themselves. But now im about to put my repairs and the car to a true test. Over 2500 mile road trip around Europe. But will the Aston hold up?

@@MatArmstrongbmx Mat really does a great job and it's a pleasure to watch his channel. At 7:04 there is a part that I really hate because he used a terrible tragedy as an intro for his sponsors. Very disgusting!!! He should have made a better effort to find out what happened in this place and that it was not just about "how the Germans invaded that village" but about a revenge campaign where ALL the civilians, including children and the elderly, were killed in revenge for the activities of the French resistance movement. Totally ignorant of Mat and his team that he used the said event for his own profit! Very very stupid and insensitive!!!

I honestly dont think people understand the levels this guy is setting the videos and edits are absolutely insane!!! People see him driving to different countries and having a blast but forget how much he goes through to give us these sick edits and content and manage to get his builds done + do his day to day life stuff thats not car related!! Big up yourself mate iv been here since the audi TT and the difference since then is absolutely mind blowing. We need a show or a Netflix series!

I am not one for picking up on the quality of video editing skills but watching this I felt like I was watching tv show or equivalent. It is one thing to rebuild supercars to the level you do with no experience, producing content on this quality with no experience before youtube is another but them together is just mind boggling. So positive and motivational, well done 👏👏👏👏

I personally believe that you transmit so much positive energy mate. You make these things look so easy, even when these road trips sometimes turn sideways. You simply do magic on the cars you repair and I would too feel confident in driving one of your cars throughout Europe. Simply, Bravo!

What an inspiration you are, I used to own my own small body shop which was a family run business that me and my family built together, me and my dad used to work all hours, life events hard times made us have to give it up and made me fall out out of love with cars. Watching your programs has re ignited something that has not been there for years.. keep up the good work and keep these videos coming. Brilliant.
I watched the first of this series on the Vantage after stumbling across it randomly and was so engrossed had to watch the entire thing in 1 sitting. Each episode was filled with 'well now I gotta know what happens next!' suspense but what I was NOT AT ALL prepared for was this particular episode. A professional documentary film team with millions in budget could not better convey the raw emotion expressed in this 28 min clip...I was nearly moved to tears. I doubt Mat has time to review all these comments as time goes by but in reading more about him and confirmed after watching this series, the one simple quality that makes the emotional punch of this episode possible is his humility. He's just a hard-working, GOOD person (with holes in his ears!). Well done sir, well done.

Well, I live near Stelvio pass and it's a road i always drived in for fun since i had a motorbike, hope you liked it, and the bar you stopped at minute 23:30 in the video got built by my grandfather and now my uncle is running it, hope you got some unforgettable moments on our mountains. Man, I'm speechless. Just found your channel a few days ago and I've been watching a lot of your videos. Riding in Stelvio Pass is one of my life dreams! I'm a Brazilian and still live in Brazil. Did some road trips with a 250cc motorcycle driving in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. We have some awesome roads like this here too, so you might come and check! But road trips are all about creating lifetime memories, friends and enjoying it as best as you can!

thanks for bringing back some really good memories. I lived in Italy for 3 years and we traveled all over Europe. I've been to every location you filmed in this video and no.... most small towns in Italy are not car friendly with their tiny roads. I'm an American and the best I could do when I lived there was the 1996 Mitsubishi Galant that shipped over with me but that little car would scream down the autostrada, cruising at 140mph. we made the crossing from San Marino on the Adriatic side to Pisa in 3 hours. Stelvio Pass was one of my go-to places to ride my bike. The views and the history in Italy were stunning to witness. as I said... thanks for the trip down memory lane. great video

That was quiet honestly one of the best videos, I’ve watched. And it’s perked up my interest on Aston Martins. They really are awesome cars to take on the roads like that. Of course all you guys are good drivers too.

how cool to see that you passed over the Stelvio pass, I recreated the external part of one of the tunnels to prevent it from collapsing and fabulous cars passed by, I could hear them whizzing by with their roar
