Its finished! It really is! What a journey rebuilding the cheapest range rover vogue in the UK has been. Airbags, suspension, headlights, quarter panels, this car has had it all. But was it all worth it? I picked it up from Cars & Colours body shop to see the rear quarter repair and the paint job before taking it back to my unit to make the range rover more of my own.

Just to clear out repeating myself 😂 the paint was 6 weeks old before wrap. Why wrap a painted car? To change the colour to one I personally like better. Painting it a different colour would be way more expensive. Why Satin black? Remember everyone has different tastes. Why would I wrap a car for someone else’s taste when I’m the one who drives it everyday? If we all liked the same thing itll be a very boring world. I’m over the moon with the rebuild it’s been one hell of a challenge! 🙌❤️

The original color looks way better in my view though I totally understand your reason for wrapping it in satin black which is your preference. Good job 👌👍

Matt, I work at a land rover dealer. Just a word of warning, you'll need to get that booked in to a dealer to have an update done to the PTU module. Because you've gone up a wheel size you need to have the PTU programmed to that wheel size or you could cause some expensive damage, it will also update the wheel speed sensors to give the correct wheel speed

I'd have kept it blue, really nice colour. Love the wheels, but as they're not too much different from the originals I'd have kept those too. Great video to put an end on an epic build though.

Growing up, wasn't that into cars at all, but over time I've started to gain a real appreciation and love for them, and these rebuild videos have been a massive part of why. Brings me back to when I owned 7 original 90 and 110 or defenders for you younger folk. Literally blood and tears along with hospital visits when grinders failed into my face. I think it’s the brilliant balance between the matte and the glossy bits that truly make it work so damn well.

Apart from Urban Camo, I can't think of a worse wrap for such a tasteful and stylish car, but I'm not the one who is going to be driving it, and you've done a really good job of wrapping it. 100% correct on the wrap satin black was all the rage about 4 years ago and it didn’t look good then out of all the colours could had went with that

Only discovered the channel about a week ago and now I’m hooked, watching morning, noon and night 😂. I won’t lie I was a little bit upset that part 8 did not finish with the trim on the infotainment being replaced! Now my OCD is triggered 😂. Keep up the good work. I think you forgot to atleast paint the brake calipers. I mean the rust on it is very noticeable. Also have you thought of tinting the rear lights and headlights? I mean it would go well with the matte black theme thats going on.

Dude I followed this rebuild from the go...it's been crazy, entertainin,informative, encouraging...that Range Rover is famous now...wow...the art, the patience, the investment...it was all worth it....
Just watched this series with the wife (she doesn't normally watch car stuff) and thought it was great. Must admit I questioned the amount of money you spent on the Rover and the wrap but you were completely right on everything you did. Well done mate, new subscriber.

@@adriandunn7208 just finished the video and it seems to have been a success. When wrapping a car with fresh paint it's easy to peel the paint when readjusting the vinyl.
Enjoy your video, done a great job on that Range Rover. I just bought a Ford Fiesta Titanium damaged repairable. My first damaged repairable car.
It looks stunning well done guys the only thing being picky and one of my pet hates is rusty calipers and discs 😊
New to the channel from the first Rashford video and have been binge watching the re-builds ever since. I'm too old and fat to be trying to fold myself into one of the super cars that have been saved, I would take this Range Rover over all of them. It is stunning. Dream drive for me every time. Also Mat seems the same bloke now as he was in the early builds, much kudos for not becoming a pretentious arse hole that happens to a lot of creators once their channel explodes.
Mat's work ethic and consistency is admirable.
Nice work Matt, I personally love the factory colour and goes really well with all the black gloss trim, but hey, its your motor and if you love the new colour / wrap, then its good for me, well done again, great episode and some amazing team work.

I'm not a very big fan of the side steps especially because they cannot hold a lot of weight but overall the car looks absolutely stunning. Great job.

There’s no I in team, what an amazing effort Matt. Well done mate and of course to Hannah and the lads. Get those callipers, exhaust tips sorted (gloss black) and vented discs on!!! 👍🏻
The satin black looks AMAZING love how you've added the glossy finishes as well in all the right places. I would recommend adding something on the break calipers to hide the rusted metal.
Those rear wheels need some spacers to bring them in-line with the body… I think they look slightly lost, bring them out and show them off! This is a 10/10!!
That finished car is the best example I think I have ever seen & the fact you built it yourself is just amazing and what a watch. Not something I would do myself but at least I might know what I am talking about if something needs fixed on my i-Pace in the future as there will be similarities. I might look into getting it wrapped in that colour.

What a great content, it was so fun so much instructions, my opinion at the end both paint look so beautiful but if I have to choose one, I will go for the blue one. Id definitely consider a disk and caliper upgrade if your going to be towing your track car regularly,they seem small considering the cars size alone,add in a trailer and another car and they might struggle.

The fact you had the paint rectified before the wrap is perfect. I am certain there are cars out there where the primer and panel repairs are visible when the wraps are removed.

I actually like the satin black wrap but I think the stock wheels looked better with it, not sure the aftermarket ones add much.
