I'll pin your comment so people can give you some advice. If you feel comfortable, please share what role you play in the relationship - are you having a hard time leaving a relationship because you're unsure or is it the other way around?
Sometimes the best kind of love is the slow burn and respectful love, I used to think the hot sexual chemistry relationship was IT but that’s fleeting too. Being best friends is underrated but you should also be feeling safe, loved and happy. If not then it may be a benefit to separate for a few months. Try journaling and meditating on it. Best of luck!
I have been married for 21 years, and I definitely had feelings like this leading up to getting married. We dated for 6 years before we wed, and prior to getting engaged, there were moments that I didn't know how committed my now husband was to getting married, starting a family, because it seemed to be taking so long, and it was something I really wanted. But I didn't have a reason to end the relationship- we get along, we support each other, it's what a person should want out of a relationship, but it had gotten very " comfortable", or maybe predictable? So I stayed, and sometimes I still get those same feelings that I am missing out on something. That maybe I should have walked away. But there isn't anybody else I would rather hang out with on a Friday night. Or share a holiday with. Vent about a crappy day to. Would I like a bit more spice and romance? Of course. But that isn't who he is. And I think we put a lot of pressure on men sometimes to be like someone in a romance novel or movie. And that just isn't realistic.
I think in my opinion, if you are experiencing these thoughts you are becoming more open to the idea of infidelity possibly, or not necessarily infidelity but open to the idea of “no strings attached” vibe to a partner who refuses to be part of that. That’s why revealing early on intentions when dating is important. A lot of relationships nowadays are going downhill due to bad foundations. This is evident especially when you are new to a relationship and younger. Relationships are phases of “trial and error”, therefore if you don’t experience various scenarios i.e a short situationship situation, a sexual connection, a strong romantic connection with someone who lives hours away from you, once you go through these stages you will get to understand what person you are willing to become in a relationship and hopefully seek them qualifies in your partner/ significant other. Does this make sense? Because the last thing the person who you are romantically involved with or at least from the person’s perspective is that they don’t want to be part of build up that will soon come crashing down on them
I kept a solid set of questions regarding being unsure of your relationship that I heard from Chris Williamson, though it's from Reddit so give whatever respect you wish: 1. If someone said, "You're a lot like your partner!" Would that be a compliment? 2. Am I fulfilled or am I just less lonely? 3. Am I able to be, authentically and unapologetically myself, or do I need to show up differently to please my partner? 4. Am I in love with my partner right now as a whole; or am I only in love with their good side, potential, or idea of them? 5. Would you want your (imagined) children to be with someone like them? As for my own opinion, it really is a difficult question to answer when we don't have an information, like any question, truthfully. However, you say you've been together for a long time, so why now and not after a year or two? Is there someone tempting you? Why _don't_ you want to leave? A selfish reason like fear of lonliness and failure? Is your "What if?"'s worth more than what you're going to lose? Are they even viable? You also have to take into consideration the current dating milleu. Though we don't hear _everything_ , but there's a terrace-dynamics of voices speaking poorly of it. Ultimately, you have one life and you really only get to choose a poison. You're going to face something regardless. Either lose your (loving?) partner or lose opportunity. If you're going to take risks, be ready to take responsibilty for the outcomes. Learn your lessons fast or they will repeat themselves. The best answers are often found in virtue. Best regards.

I once had a same situation in 2008. I thought I talked to a cool dude from NY - to find out two years later, that that was the freind of a friend who used to do this cause a other person she wanted to not let go or something like this.. But all the chats we had, over many weeks ... to get, that this was all fake was disturbing as hell. i'm totally with you - people are strange

So good for you👏 Just the other day my big brother (someone I’ve looked up to, but could never live up to, my entire life) told me he trusts me wholeheartedly & implicitly, that my judgement has never steered him wrong, he appreciates me, loves me, and wants to be more supportive of me to. It was jaw-dropping. I nearly cried. He’s never said anything like that. He’s going through a bad divorce and he’s leaning on me, from 3k miles away it’s hard but we talk nearly everyday, and it’s strengthened our bond. I agree with most of the responses, except for the " family is everything" please know if your family is toxic they are NOT everything and its ok to walk away if they are being abusive 💗

Sometimes i cant help but to feel like some people are meant to read certain secrets. Especially when they have gone through what the person is expressing. Its like divine timing for both the reader and the person writing the secret. I'm glad you were able to record everything that guy was saying towards the end. He had some greats tips that everyone and i can benefit from. He seemed like a well standing and respectable man. Everyone was simply awesome in this video!

I enjoyed the bits of silence in past videos where you can see the reader pondering the confession while the sounds of the world are still going on around them. It allows us as the viewers to sit with that secret, or the thoughts from the readers, ourselves & everything feels like it has been allowed to take up space, that it matters being spoken out loud. I didn't feel the same with this video, I felt rushed & couldn't keep up with every note being read as they kept flashing on the screen back to back. Maybe the people in NYC are simply not ones to waste time taking something in lol, I'm not sure what it is. I also think the jumping around locations didn't help & added to the feeling that every minute needed to be filled instead of felt. Again, could be the chaotic hustle & bustle of the city life since the shots in the park brought it back for me.

The last young man…how to even sum it up in a few words, I don’t know. What I do know is, it’s fair to say that this young man has inspired me, and presumably others in his life, to love yourself, speak your truth, know your worth and enjoy the journey of self expression to finding yourself. For me the star of the show was the background guy in the brown jacket (6:27) who went completely still for exactly 40 seconds and then did a visible snap back to reality. My theory is that he got a message from the fellow aliens that currently it is more human to have a phone in hand when trying to blend in

8:59 to those feeling like this person: picture this. You are back to a day you were still a little one, asking the world or people that you love, things that felt really important to you. You would love to have a guitar. You would love your parents to say you sing beautifully or that you do amazing drawings. Now imagine you need to say to this little version of yourself "you are not worthy of any of those things". Can you do it? Because, for a long time, I didn't realise I was doing this to myself. I still have a child inside that were used to listen horrible things from myself. The day I realised this, I gave myself a long hug, and gave a second chance on my dreams. Everyone is worthy.
I love this episode !! I have to be careful when I watch your videos, as they tend to trigger the big time feels for me. That last guy sounds like me , a lot. I tell my people I love them all the time, because it's true. I love you, even though I don't know you. If people can hate without reason, they can love the same way. I read that, and it's true for me. I try to spread love, empathy, and caring as my corner stones in my life. It's a good way to live, as I get it all back and more.

I really relate to the last guy in what he said about writing and the way he thinks. I loved hearing his thoughts, the way he explained things was amazing :)
People turn out to be so much more relatable and well intending and empathic then i make them in my head as i dont speak to them.
To the person who is afraid they’re in a relationship with the wrong person because they have doubts. I was there, so I can relate to the feeling of maybe missing out and questioning if this is the right person for me. Someone helped me, and maybe sharing this it will help you, who also has the same thoughts. I was asked a simple question: “Why do you need romantic relationships?” - for me, it was because I was scared of being alone so to avoid this fear, I stayed in one relationship where I loved the person, but I was not in love with them. Just ask yourself, “Why do I need to have relationships?”
Great video. If you have thoughts that you are in the wrong relationship, then you are. Honesty and trust once broken can be repaired but never healed. My sisters husband cheated on her. She decided never to trust anyone enough to share her life with again. She'd rather be alone than having her heart broken😢

This is the first time I’ve seen someone talk about what it was like going through the pandemic during their senior year of high school into their freshman year of college like I did and I feel so validated right now. Glad to know I’m not the only one who has been struggling so much with socializing entering my adult years. It’s like back in high school and middle school you just kinda had friends because you’re with the same group of people for many years of your life, so when you go off to college and don’t know anybody, you almost forget how to make new friends. And the full year of isolation only made that impossibly more difficult.
