*CORRECTION: Both the PRO and PRO X pairs come with the USB dongle, and only the PRO X has the BLUE VOICE software built-in. You're essentially paying $29 more for the BLUE VOICE suite in G-HUB. -D.
my G433 came with the dongle too
@FP - YT no the side note is to hear yourself. turn it off unless your testing it and setting it up
I'm stupid but does the new g pro and the g pro x mic's sound the same?
Yes, sidetone is the mic "feedback" that you can hear.
@@HardwareCanucks Wait the Pro comes with a dongle? Is that a new addition or something, because I currently use the G PRO Headset and I actually had to get a seperate usb soundcard/dongle thing (I can't live without sidetone, and no not the crappy windows sidetone). Did I misunderstand something?
I'm loving how Logitech is going on this "minimalist" stylish design in their products lately. It's a breathe of fresh air from seeing all of the "gfuel-rgb-fortnite" flashy products.

Yea, I've always hated the "XTREME GAMING 420 YOLO SWAG😎" aesthetic. Besides 9 year old crack heads who does it even appeal to?

@Ravens L I know and it's a shame. I'm having to replace my 2nd pair of MH751, the right ear cup went on my 1st pair and now the sound on the right ear cup on the 2nd pair keeps going quiet until I wiggle it around a bit and then it goes back to normal for a while. I love the sound quality and the mic quality on the MH751 but they need to do some serious quality control before I'll consider buying them again, such a shame.

Please know this! For anyone doesn't know, the way to fix the super muddy sound when enabled surround sound in this g hub software, its because the bitrate is not compatible, to fix this, you need to head to sound settings in windows, and click sound control panel, on the playback tab, right-click the headphone, and click properties, and go to Advanced tab, and change the format to 16bit 32000Hz. Now the muddy sound is completely gone and the surround sound is super crisp, I'm confused how no one is talking about this but glad that I found this out!
YOU ARE A FUCKING HERO, thank you so much, my girlfriend bought these and I was super disappointed with the sound quality like she paid 110 pounds for this? It sounds like you're in a cave and the audio just sounds so compressed and flat... I will try this when I finish work! Thank you so much man

This as a wireless headset and a proper microphone quality would be my dream.
astro a50 gen 4 ?? i hope
Yep! I got the G533 because I wanted a wireless headset!
yes, and USB-C charging port for that sweet, sweet PowerDelivery fast charging.
Jeremy Sandidge Same here! Great headset, the only thing that‘s bothering me though is the microphone quality and the overall cheap feel and clunkiness of it. But for everything else, it‘s just top notch with the sweet wireless-cherry on top of it.
DerTodesSamstag the size doesn’t bother me but you’re right I do think if they incorporated the BLUE microphone technology that the G533 would be the perfect headset. Or heck just make the G PRO X Wireless.
Thank you for including the GSP 300 comparison, and glasses comfort ❤️
I'm looking at the G Pros and the Phillips SHP9500 for gaming and also editing my videos. I plan to buy a Yeti Nano for my commentary when I live stream since the headphone/mic combo is far better quality than a headset.. Is it worth me spending that extra $30 for the X's if I'm already getting a separate mic for commentary or should I save that $30 towards the Yeti Nano? Also, what do you think about the SHP9500 compared to the G Pros. Appreciate your time and help :)
2:36 You know you went to the right KZheadr for a headset review when their home screen is a headset
pretty sure he just put that there to be in the background of his vid.. Doesnt look like a home screen wallpaper
Thank you for speaking to the 'sidetone' feature. This is a must for me and lots of headsets don't have it.
Thanks to lockdown I found really good discount on it and I'm going to fetch it. Thanks for an awesome review and much love from Serbia!
After closer inspection during your review; the G PRO has a 5 pole male connector to the headset, vs the Cloud Alpha's 4 pole male connector. Ive been experiencing cross talk and echo on my Alpha's at loud volumes. Seeing that the G PRO has a 5 pole connector makes me happy, will definitely pick one up. Using it in conjunction with my Astro MixAmp Pro Gen4.
You do good work, always love videos by you guys. Keep it up!
1:15 there's a hole on the USB dongle. Does it take 3.5mm in from another audio source?
yes
Can someone explain to me how it takes the audio in from another source please?
@@ryzrz3616 as a logitech g431 user, i use the usb dongle came with the headset to plug in my earphone sometime and on windows it will still show up as logitech g431. weird but it still works !

Nice to see that you are completely honest in your review, not every Tech channel is so transparent.
Love these videos, please could you do a video on the logitech g pro x vs the hyperx cloud alpha really need help deciding between the two XD
Finally a good looking headset from Logitech that doesn't look "gamified"
The G433 looked alright to me as a non-"gamified" product, but to each their own i guess.
One could argue that the original G Pro and G533 wireless model also don’t scream gaming headset
This is hyperx cloud 2 lol
The "g" in gpro is there gamer pinup of stuff
The Pro and Pro X looks SO ugly. The Logitech G Pro is the only headset that doesnt look 'gamer-fied' as it is all black and only has a silver "G" on either side of the headset with glossy , black plastic that says 'pro' on the top headband.
I like that you added the glasses thing. Most people don’t do that but for people like me it’s important
These editings are amazing!
Nice review as always , but I find it funny that you keep showing the glorious model O mouse in your video , I like that you keep what you use for gaming in your setup. Thanks to you guys I own one and I love this mouse and now it's back ordered everywhere. I need a new gaming headset but this one is a bit to low end for my taste. I will wait until fall to make a move. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for doing a glasses comparison for the clamp force. Very much appreciated
did you buy it and does it still work well?
@@nooblife473 sorry just saw this. I didnt buy it, but I can vouch for the sennheiser game one (open back) headset. I can wear them for hours and not have issue. PC37X is basically the same thing as mine for less.
If you prioritize mic quality then by a vmoda boom mic and like a cheap headset that supports a replaceable wire then u get the best of both worlds
Just pre-ordered mine, so stoked!
Hope u read this .. is the g pro mic can use as external mic for smartphone ? Hope someone answer me .. need that mic badly for smartphone video recording ..
Thank you for including those times you wear glasses coz I wear my eye glasses all the time.

I love it when companies collaborate and utilize the best of their respective offerings because we get some really great outcomes. The design of these are awesome, they perform nice, and best of all, not make you look like a 12 year old RGB obsessed gamer. It has my vote :)

For console I feel the hyper x cloud 2 is the all around champ as it’s mic quality is amazing but on pc the USB adapter it comes with changes the mic quality and makes it more robotic to counter breathing
Looking to buy a new headset, but looking at this, would it not be better to get the sennheiser hd559 with a modmic 4 as a gaming headset then the logitech G PRO X or any gaming headset in general around this pricerange? Have headsets evolved enough to surpass that kind of quality yet? I would like to know people's thoughts on this. Note: started out with a hyper X cloud revolver S, but was not as impressed and would like to try out a different one.
thanks good work. can you please do Logitech G PRO X vs Sennheiser game one
Game one: as an owner, it has garbage build quality. And mine is not faulty either. It sounds pretty clean and clear but it produces a hiss. And also, the sliders broke on the first day of use. Idk. But these are cheaper and way more bang for your buck. And if you want bass, the game one is not an option. I cannot feel bass, so it makes sounds sound a lil empty accompanied by the open back.
Love that it's wired. Wireless still has too much drawbacks. I wouldn't wanna find out my battery is about to die while being in a MP 2h race.
Here I am, last day of 2021 watching this. Working on changing over from razer to logitech. Thanks for the video!
You never disappoint with your intros
Thanks Dmitriy ! But the review almost was all about the "blue" MIc !... what about the SOUND !! gaming software ? how does it performs ? the positional and environmental sound ? Can you elaborate a bit more into it ? for us here, we thought we were going to see a bit more into it in your review but you just mention it really fast ( software ) and didn't went into detail and for us here it's important a bit more than a mic. Will be appreciated, to make your review more complete . regards GBG
The only thing different from this and the G Pro is the blue mic. So go watch the Logitech G Pro review.
BConText bad directional sound like very very bad

Arena Bola Studios :O
I know right I've always thought he looks exactly like him it's uncanny his twin
That’s what I was thinking
A high end gaming headset round up would be nice. You could even do a more updated comparison on if high end audiophile headsets with an add on mic are better than gaming headsets.
Nice step up ... mic sounds very good I think, I'm happy user of Cloud Alpha + MSI Nahimic sound :)
How will all the eq stuff work on a console? I have a PS4 and thinking about getting these but idk if I can fully use its potential. I feel like these are more geared towards pc players😕
That’s because they are.
I have the Logitech G PRO gaming headset. Out of the box it looked and felt great. However, because of the shape of the cups, any head movement would create a break in the seal and diminish the sound. The second issue that I had is an issue that I've noticed with other headsets that have a similar mic design and placement. I like to play both games and music loudly. When I did, anyone who I was playing games with at the time would be able to hear every single thing that was coming out of my headset in their headset. I was told that it sounded like I was playing in front of a tv. I've had the same exact problem with my hyper x could alphas, hyper x cloud Xs and my set of corsair hs50s. I was so frustrated because I love the way the G PRO drivers sound but I felt like I couldn't use them while playing with others. That was until I found a solution that has been working out perfectly for me that addressed the two issues that I had with the headset. For the earcups I took the stock g pro cushions off and replaced them with (what are arguably the most comfortable ear cushions on the market) the cushions from my hyper x cloud alphas. They fit my ears much better now, they're very comfortable and I never have an issue with the seal breaking anymore. I replaced the stock mic with the v moda boom pro and not only does the mic sound amazing, it doesn't pick up any game audio even at high volume. Now, I absolutely love this headset. The v moda boom pro was $30 and a set of hyper x cloud alpha ear cushions from the hyper x site was $10.
That's interesting that you were able to make a frankestined headset and it worked out well. How did it age? Planning to upgrade my AT m20x
you have tha problem with the G pro or G pro X ??? (Aksing in case you made a typo)
Whenever I look this G Pro X, I see the HyperX Cloud 2. I love the Cloud 2 and sure this G Pro X will be great too. Otherwise, I love also the fact there is an additional cushions velvet with the G Pro X like with the Cloud 2. I don't understand why HyperX doesn't added a velvet cushions in the box with the Cloud Alpha, That's why I prefer the Cloud 2 than Alpha.
What settings were you using for the mic cause it sounds so great and need somewhere to start
Oh, a new HyperX headset! Wait a minute, it's not a HyperX headset!
For everyone that's comparing this vs the mmx300v2 can you see the $200 difference ?
I would consider it if it came with the dongle for 99 but that extra 30 makes it a little to high for me. My cloud 2s are sticking around I guess, might nab these if I see a good sale or price drop if nothing better comes along by then.
I just bought these. Logitech G Pro X is the best headset that I had so far. Thanks for the video! It helped me to adjust settings for my preference.
I'm thinking about buying these, can you summarize your experience (pluses and minuses, or some weird quirks) so far? Very much appreciated in any case!
i really appreciate the g pro x sound profile being very neutral, everything you hear sounds very natural and true to the creators intention. Coming from a pair of astro a10's they had significantly more bass which sounded very pleasing for music but was very over emphasised. Also Dolby Atmos helps with audio quality and spacial audio on xbox and pc
Im thinking of upgrading from A10s, is it worth the upgrade?
@@odysseyelias3570 I mean the audio sounds more authentic in terms of how the developers intended but the Astro has a better mic in my opinion. G pro x isn’t bad it just doesn’t have as much bass in your voice. But the reason I like the G pro x is for comfort. Which the astros didn’t have (A10s)
I have a g933 right now and it has some connection issues so I’m looking to get a new headset, would you recommend this or the hyperX Cloud revolver S
I would recommend the coolermaster mh751 + soundblaster omni
Get a REAL headset and not gaming
Dkgsa1212 any suggestions? I don’t need a mic, or any rgb, preferably black, i just want something with great sound quality and comfort for under $120, I’ve heard the sennheiser PC37X or whatever can do both
@@elijahtingler8044 Sennheiser HD 280 pro, some bass boost and they are perfect. You should have a dac/amp or a good soundcard tho
The g pro x sounds worse than the g933 imo returned it and getting a gsp 600 from sennheiser
And for everyone who doesn't want to spend so much i would suggest taking a look at the superlux hd681 and a lavalier mic because that beats quite a lot of headsets in price-to-performance. And although you have a second cable you will also have no mic in your field of view.
Hey HardwareCanucks. Just bumped into your Channel. Truly loving it. 😉. You’ve earned a Subscriber. Keep up the good work man! Question. I’ve had my Logitech G933 since they came out on 2015. I’m looking for an upgrade. What do you recommend. These caught my eye. Sound quality is more of an importance then mic quality. Specially after me having the g933. Hopefully you get to see this.
I thought you sounded better without any preset active on that mic, less robotic sounding and more natural
Vin B I agree
true
I agree. I feel like it being louder with the custom preset could give the illusion of it sounding better, when in actuality it wasn't
Word
I agree! Is just a little quiet, but you can crank up the mic volume in the software, or windows
What got me sold was the fact that it was reviewed by Starlord
Hey man so since you have experience with the g533 and pro x would you say sound wise they are par or is the pro x a bit better? Thanks from a fellow audiophile.
Im on the fence between these and the Sennheiser gsp 300's. They both seem like great sets, this seems a little more customizable though, and I do like the idea of being able to hear yourself speak through the headset, I don't like not being able to hear myself speak.
ModMic should just jump in and develop a Wireless Headset with their mic quality. Would be a dream ^^
If Modmic was bought out by Sennheiser or did a collab with them for a wireless headset that would be AWESOME
Logitech Cloud 2

how effective is the noise removal? Still looking for replacements on my already dying Asus Strix Pro headset with environmental noise cancelling

Any decent headphones with a removable 3.5mm jack and a V Moda Boompro is still the best setup though.
I just got one of these yesterday ... but i am thinking to just get a replacement to the Sennheiser GSP350 they offer wide freq range which is probably way better than the standard 20- 20khz range. would you recommend the GSP 350 instead of this ? or should i save up and get the GSP 600 ?

That's correct. Thanks for pointing it out. I thought it was not included because otherwise you're paying $29 for the BLUE Voice software inside G-HUB. -D.

The GSP300 with the dongle sounds better than all of them...
*watches the video and realizes that the headset is good* *checks price* I see this is an absolute win!
I just got this headset based on this video. So far my opinion + more base + seems sturdy, my last pair g230 was plastic and would always break, got to my 3rd pair of g230 before I decided to upgrade + integration in g hub with Nvidia broadcast + comes with a soft bag, nice for on the go + microphone clearer than the g230, and perfect with Nvidia broadcast - short and unbraided cable, g230 had a longer braided cable, will see how it holds in time - clamps more than the g230 but at least keeps the bass in - g230 seems louder other notes: Sound like the g230 but with more bass. The cable is removable from the headset BUT, it makes a click when inserted and holds really well. The microphone has a flat surface to know which side to point to the mouth. If you wear a shirt, the microphone volume knob holder can clip to the left pocket of a shirt. I know, random. Who wears shirts.
as someone who is thinking of buying a new headset, is it still worth it? it currently goes for 60 quid on amazon. i am thinking of streaming too, whats your experience with the mic?

The G Pro X has a really "streamy" sound that the original Pro doesn't have. I think the OG Pro mic sounds better
What DAC do you use? How do you hook up a headset with a mic and still use a DAC if there is only an audio connection and no MIC connection on the DAC?
when you turn on the blue voice function does it save onto the headset? so that if i turn the function on and move to my consoles or phone will the blue voice function still work?
