  • I'm looking at the G Pros and the Phillips SHP9500 for gaming and also editing my videos. I plan to buy a Yeti Nano for my commentary when I live stream since the headphone/mic combo is far better quality than a headset.. Is it worth me spending that extra $30 for the X's if I'm already getting a separate mic for commentary or should I save that $30 towards the Yeti Nano? Also, what do you think about the SHP9500 compared to the G Pros. Appreciate your time and help :)

  • The reason the G Pro X's mic sounds better than the G Pro's mc is that the people who bought the X are using the included the Blue VO!CE software which is included with the X. The G Pro 2019 is just like the X model, but without the bag, replaceable earcups and specialized mic software for $30 less.

  • If i already have an very good external DAC/AMP like iFi ZEN DAC and i'll buy G PRO headset,how these sounds on 3,5 mm output from the dac? Better than on USB dongle or in order to maxedout the audio it is mandatory to connect the headset only to Logitech usb thing? Thanks for answer!

  • Anyone have any idea how to turn off mic monitoring/sidetone on this headset? It isn't there when I use the 3.5mm jack which is great but when I use the USB dongle I can hear my own voice even though the "listen to this device" box is already unchecked in my windows settings.

    • in X version there is 7.1 option to choose, another difference is that you have much more options with your microphone with the blue voice equaliser. To me, there is no point to buy the X verison

    • @@TheAussieGamer Non have 7.1 surround. Is a software called logitech hub that give the "7.1 DTS surround", but its not real 7.1. Same with the g933, it says 7.1 but is software, not really 7 speakers, just 2 (stereo).

    • @@isaelomy I don't know about the Logitech Pro X, but the Pro does not have in the "software" simulated surround. The G HUB simply does not give you the options, probably the USB DAC is different.

    • i also had this issue when i first tried to set it up i fixed it somehow but i forgot what's the order think i uninstall my audio drivers and uninstalled g hub then reinstalled audio and g hub in that order and it somehow worked? no clue you can try this out I guess

    • I used to have the g430, then the g432 but I exchanged that for the g pro. The g pro has better sound, better mic and better build quality. The only downside is that g pro is only stereo and no 7.1 but windows sonic (which is free) gives you spatial sound so it doesn't really matter. There's also dts:x and dolby atmos you can buy which i think are better codecs for spatial sound

    • I never tried these, but HyperX cloud II is the best $100 I've spent 6 years ago. I'm sure they are even cheaper now. one of the cups went out on me, but they are super super durable, and I used them every day for 5 years.

I also live in mexico, dont know if you also know spanish so im replying in english xd

    • That’s easily fixable to some degree. First do the settings you want in ghub. Then use voice meter or any other software sound mixer type of software, and add the last few improvements.
