The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 2021 US Open saw Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Great Britain's Emma Raducanu claim the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first major title, with 18-year-old Raducanu becoming the first-ever qualifier to achieve the feat. The 2022 US Open main draw is scheduled to go ahead between August 30 - September 11.

Look at the faces of the crowd on that last drop shot. Jaws were on the floor , they could not believe it.
Medvedev is a BEAST - specifically, a Russian BEAR! Even his name says so! I love how he humbly (well, compared to some players) exhorts the crowd at 1:02.
I think some of these shots are up there with Federer’s genius, just that Medvedev makes them look super awkward 😅
