At this point, it's hard to make a top 10 points list for Alcaraz this tournament; he had way more than that. But number 1 truly was the best of the bunch.
He literally had about 50 points that could have made this list. An extraordinary championship achieved in a stunningly entertaining fashion!
The entire Alcaraz sinner match was amazing points
Number 2 was the best
feel bad for Sinner
@@ToiletTennis True. The match of the year.
Do you guys notice that Alcaraz smiles most of the time? It is simply great to watch Alcaraz playing with passion and pure joy.
Yes!!, that's the first thing that got me totally rooting for him!.
I'm a huge fan of Rafa's, but he usually looks like he's not having any fun out there. Carlos brings a refreshing manner even when things get tight.
@@robertmihalik9282 because he is on pain all the time,
@@diegoapalategui579 So true Diego. That is likely the reason.
Love this guy... Just love tennis... Fresh blood which was so badly needed.
Love tennis too and I agree. Him and Sinner will bring new eyes I hope
@@jonsmitthe3rd Yes! Love them both. And they're respectful and have friendly competition. Great to see. And Ruud too even though he's a bit older.
finally someone who dismantles the "next gen" of the past years for how bad they truly were. this is talent and true hard work combined. this is a champion.
Perfect time as well w/ Federer retiring, Nadal slowly coming to his end and Djokovic...doing whatever he's doing. Men/Women's tennis was in need of some new blood, and it is here.
@@youbetu18 Their tennis skills weren't bad at all. They just had bad attitudes and couldn't compete with the Big Three.
What a joy it is to watch Carlitos play tennis! The kid plays with the audacity to think he’s going to win and it shows in his incredibly intuitive style. At this point I think it’s fair to say he doesn’t ‘play like Federer/Nadal/Djokovic/etc’ - he plays like Alcaraz.
It's unreal that he made all these amazing shots in a span of two weeks. Really excited to see more of him for years to come!

It's amazing me how many out of this world rallies we've seen from him just in 2022. He is without a doubt the biggest news in tennis since the big 3
Absolutely agree 100%
Just love how he smiles at his box after hitting these shots. No showboating just smiles cuz he loves it.
Made in Spain, the place of sport gods 🐐
And born on the 5th of May, a very special day of the year : )
lets not get patriotic. Tennis is international, could be from somewhere else.
@@Literaduranet claro que podría ser de otro lado, pero es de España 🇪🇸 !!!
Tennis needed Alcaraz.
The dude is insane and a real shotmaker, the best we've seen since fed started coming up. So excited to watch him for years to come- and he can still improve! His touch, his speed, his creativity, his strength, his TALENT- it's all there. Hope he'll at least halfway fulfill the potential everyone's throwing on em and stays healthy, excited to see whats next
A week before the main draw, I answered a poll on twitter picking Alcaraz to win the tourney. I had a gut feeling that Rafa was getting bumped out. But, would have loved to see Alcaraz and Nadal meet up.
You are 100% SPOT ON MATE☝🏽 Carlos is the real thing.
Improve his speed?
I like Alcaraz, but I hate your comment.
He's amazing to see. The style of play, the type of shots he chooses, draw in a real crowd. I do think he's getting overrated though, i think he has issues with concentration similar to Zverev sometimes just dropping sets/games randomly. Like the second set in the final his intensity was suddenly gone. Also it is not like he won the tournament convincingly like Nadal did his first Roland Garros. Sinner massively choked and basically had him beat. The flair of his style makes him get overrated i think while players like Sinner, Medvedev and Zverev are comparable level i think. Djokovic and Nadal on gravel are still a class above. But it's nice to see a new number 1 even though it's tainted by the absence of Djokovic and Wimbledon not counting this year.
Commentator: it is impossible to hit a tweener hard. Next highlight: Alcaraz hits a hard tweener.
no idea what dude was talking about there
@@bachstrad1994 Ikr, has he ever watched Fed?
Probably meant when the opponent is at the net... still weird though.
@@traebeneck4994 the tweener rocket against djokovic immediately came to mind.

Who is here after Alcaraz has won Wimbledon? When I see this I realise fans have great fun ahead with Alcaraz 😍.
This could be the top 10 points of a whole career for any pro player.
And he's just 19! Amazing!
True
Totally agree 👍
I don't think anyone else could make the behind-the-back shot.
@@PlanetOfTheApes999 they can but in same position and situation almost impossible because he has very less time
undoubtedly the best player in the world!!
Absolutely 👏🏾
Apart from an icredible shot making, forehand, backhand, volley, lob, the most amazing part of his game is moving. He's like a ghost, he's everywhere.
Commentator: “If you hit a tweeter hard you’re never gonna win the point” *next highlight* Alcaraz: hits winner baseline tweeter shot
And now, he has won Wimbledon beating Djokovic in one of the greatest finals ever. What a talent !
It’s a clean generational handover from Nadal to Carlos. Congratulations! 🍾
Hes like a turbo versión of novak instead of Rafa
He's so confident and talented, I am a fan of him
Alcarez is really entertaining and his personality is like sunshine, a star is born indeed!
Alcaraz 😉👌
One of the best US Open Tournaments ever! The talent of these seasoned and most of the upcoming players is phenomenal and a pleasure to watch.
Especially the Alcaraz Sinner quarterfinals is in the top three US Open matches I have ever seen at Ashe since Agassi and Sampras 2001 quarterfinals and Nadal and Medvedev 2019 final. Djokovic and Federer 2011 semis are also on the list but unfortunately I wasn't there. I feel lucky to have seen some amazing matches. Even the Alcaraz Rudd final, how he was able to save a set point and turn it around in the third set tiebreak was unreal. Fantastic tennis player, fantastic tennis.
@@pacifist1360 Absolutely. That was ping pong as feli Lopez said. That was exactly my thought. It was stellar offense and he who blinked lost the point. Just Toe to toe baseline half volleys. Surreal
I pray to the tennis gods he has a healthy career 🙏🏾
Love the smile Charlie. Never stop smiling
My favourite thing about Alcaraz is just how happy he seems to be on the court. 2022 has been the year where not just new phenoms have emerged in tennis, but new legitimate stars. Swiatek and Alcaraz have finally, truly, broken the trend of 1. mens tennis being the Big 3 and nobody else and 2. womens tennis lacking a consistent star.
Carlito deserves a top 10 shots per match video
For sure! it's almost hard to keep up & keep count with the constant wild shots he's constantly doing
Carlitos
His footwork is insane
Yes he gets his feet ready and recovers his footwork so quickly. Bounces around the court on his feet. Seems very efficient movement? Though he plays over-long points but being young that is not a problem. Impressive control and range of shots (drop, lob, push shot, placement shot). A lot of these highlights are major recovery shots by him which is more crowdpleasing but seems like less of a demolition style.
Future of tennis is here 🔥
mans had a better highlight reel only this tournament than other players whole carreer 😨🤯
señoras y señores el nuevo numero 1 del mundo ladies and gentleman the new number 1 of the world
Tennis has officially found a new level with this kid. What an incredible talent!
Please stay healthy, please stay healthy, please stay healthy...
This guy is out of the world. What a display of his skills. Just speechless!
whenever he plays, there will always be magical moments and insane rallies..
The youthful bravado, the elegant flair, the raw talent, the fearless killer instinct and that boundless energy. It's hard not to want to call him the Matador because he moves with similar confidence. The kid is the future of tennis. Rafa was the Spanish Raging Bull in his prime, but Carlitos is the Spanish Matador for sure.
2:45 "The problem is tweener, if you try to hit it hard, you're never going to win the point". Alcaraz proceeds to do it in the next point 😂
He comes up with some of his best shots during crucial moments of matches. That is one of his biggest strengths is that he plays very bold to win
I think that is the mark of champions. They don't choke at the big moments and produce memorable shots or returns.
I'm the only person i think, he's like a nadal when he was young. AlcaraZ IS AMAzing.
Nobody can stop him, the fun in his eyes by his winning points, this is the reason why he is the best ever
Alcaraz the Magician. The world has truly been gifted a gift.
Just out of this world, Carlos is a highly worthy US open winner, a brilliant player, afighter, likeable, the wole package really -and has now 20 years of tennis ahead of him, truly amazing...
Carlos Alcaraz will seal a before and after in the history of the world of tennis with his stratospheric game.
Love him, pure class, pure passion and joy for tennis. Sinner's game is so lethal, so accurate and scary, how Carlitos managed to beat him is why he is right now the number 1 in the world.
Carlos* is the spelling not Carlitos.
@@birgirandpitzeeater Carlitos is how he is known, it is the diminutive form of his name Carlos. In fact in his village he is called 'Carlicos'.
Very proud of that last name. My last name is also Alcaraz
I learned it means cherry in Arabic language and originates from a mountain range, Sierra de Alcaraz? You share probably the same forefathers, yes be proud of it.
@@radieschen79 thanks a lot for the research u did I’ll look more into that and yes very proud. When I was younger I didn’t like saying my last name just cuz it was weird and no one had my last name cuz it’s rare at where I live. But now very happy and glad with it.

WHAT A Point against Tiafoe and Sinner. #1 would be watched time and again. He is amazing shot maker. Congratulations 🎉 the smiley 😃 Alcaraz.
I am looking forward to many years of exciting tennis from this young man.
Alcaraz definitely has the potential to surpass even the big 3. At 19, already making Rafa-like shots consistently. And he can get better! Sinner is another one to watch.
Wow....now I'm going to be following his career.... absolutely outstanding!!!
You and a lot of others! He's the real deal. I thought he might be a little too short but I was wrong. Nothing can stop this kid.
His shots are technically insane!! 🙌🙌🙌
This man is like fusing federer, nadal and djoko into one person?! Yet he's still 19! Insane!
I'd say he's a mix of himself..
Él N*1. Más joven de la historia.. 😱🥳🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊😂🤣
Exactly what I told my friend. 3 of em fused into 1😩🔥
The most special player since the big 3, and certainly with more talent and creativity than Nadal and Djokovic. Tsitsipas, Zverev, Berrettini have all missed their chance for a major now this man is on the scene for the next 15 years at least.
Love his physique, I hope he maintains it and avoids injuries and just as you said he's got the potential to rule the tour for 10+ years.
I agree - probably the next goat

Isn't it? Alcaraz shots have to be watched over and over again to believe it.
The top 2 points are seriously like point of the year quality stuff, and not only did he do that back to back he won the tournament all the together in the end. I don't remember seeing anything like this ever before.
He just brings out the best in himself, his opponents and the crowd. His charismatic tenacity is really his best attribute above all his amazing athletic and technical talents.
Bravo à la fédération Espagnol de tennis d'avoir trouvé cette nouvelle pépite du tennis, Alcaraz jeune joueur et déjà charismatique.
If injuries respect him, he will be a legend
I miss him already. The US open run he had was unbelievable. Keep it up young man. You’re fun to watch
I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO loved the way he walked towards the utterly captivated, applauding crowd with his head held high and with that princely expression on his face (6.47). Simply the best!
That reminds me of the expression of a bull fighter.
Many people take that as showboating but it is just a teenager taking force from his team...
@@alfredosenalle9284 Really true. He is and seems to be Spanish without any doubt. Somos así y a veces no podemos disimularlo. Es la alegría por alcanzar algo parecido a la perfección.
What a joy to watch!
The best part is he is enjoying it - he loves the show and to show what all he can do! Bottom line is the movement which is supreme compare to others right now! 🙏 New king is here now!
Been waiting a decade for a fresh talent like this. Hoping he can keep the quality at even 75% of what he showed here. Unreal
BEAUTIFUL tennis. Can’t stop the real deal, congrats to him!
Roger's retirement, though completely understandable, has made me sad. Alcaraz gives me hope. There is a Federer-like finesse to his game. Also, he hasn't nearly reached his top level yet. It would sure be nice to have another Baryshnikov carry the torch!
Like - has anyone been able to have a highlight reel like this from 1 tournament?! This kid has it ALL. He just feeds whatever crowd he's playing in front of. He can make unforced errors in bunches - once he, dare I say, grows up & gets smarter with his shot selection - who's going to stop him?! Big time splash made here. As long as he's healthy, Carlos is here to stay.
Unreal athleticism! Well played guys
I'd love to see Federer and Alcatraz play- not for the result- just the handing over of true tennis greatness. The question is - how far can this amazing teenager go?
Reminds me so much of a young Rafa. So much energy, skill, and love for the game.
But more successful even on a hard court at that age.
@@selcukcilek555 your grandsons would tell that much more guys can achieve 5-6 WINBLEDON AO …it’s possible Less people who can achieve all slams in a year Much less two years in a row BUT one guy with 14 SAME GRAND SLAM it would be a record that probably in 2320 will scored or in 2800 Who knows…. After this point Federer is tennis 100% Nadal NOW is the 23 GSLAM guy but will be always the 14 RGarros No clock for that Djokovic is the best competitor, the talent with bodyshape and strong, poblaby we will see him matching Nadals and surpassing…but need to be written yet 14 ROLAND GARROS is the stronger statement to be considered also in 2350 or in 2765 For sure having special consideration that all 14 RG were achieved in Mr Federer and Mr Djokovic era.

It is so wonderful watching Carlos Alcaraz enjoying every bit of his game!
Pure talent, no matter the amount of trophy's but it's a joy to watch him play, like Federer. Other can get more titles but there are many factors like competency when you are at your highest point, the number of trophy's don't make the best player. If Alcaraz goes on like this, he will be one of the best together with Sinner.
Thiiiiiisssss kiiiiiiiiid!!!!! Ohhhh after the big three, someone's game to look forward to, worth every point to watch... Vamos!!! Vamos!!! 💥💥💥👏👏👏

You saw him win haha
Slow motion of Alcaraz's move is faster than my full speed.
Hey Carlos stop it man!! ;) I guess you are writing a whole new definition for Tennis sports! Your confidence, Agility, power and what not! The number one in the list with Sinner was just insane. Your smiling with nodding head revealed you have many more such weapons to exhibit. ALL THE BEST BRO! you are the coolest and strongest young man as on today in the world of Tennis...
Alcaraz is like a hybrid of Nadal and Djokovic. He has the forehand and shot making ability of Nadal and the backhand and consistency of Djokovic.
Nope, he's a hyprid of Federer and Nadal. Federers touch, variability, always going aggressive to the net, and Nadals mentality. I don't see much of Djokovic in him, maybe his defense abilities.
The recovery at 07:44 is just insane...
Not only the recovery speed & agility but the awareness & read he makes on the follow up shot, this is what separates the best from the rest! This guy was born to play this sport, I’m no Nostradamus but I predict minimum 10+ slams over his career
Se nota que se gozó todo el torneo, realmente disfrutó de él. El último pasé es el pase del torero. Grande Carlos Alcaraz.

Alcaraz brings storytelling to tennis!!
Simply, genius. Watching his highlights remind me of the highlights of the big 3. Federer's fine touch, Nadal's power and Djokovic's resilience. I no longer worry about missing the Big 3 once they are gone. Give us more of this young man!
Should have had more than two highlights against Sinner. They could have done a top 10 just from that match.
