Darkest Dungeon gives you diseases for the most random reasons. Shoutout to those books lying around in the dungeons that somehow give you syphilis just by reading them.

I once had my plague doctor contract rabies and syphilis from the same dog in the weald that critted her twice. Unfortunately, as a DnD DM, this gave me quite the *colorful imagery* of what she may have done with the dog.

You missed the part (or what I was expecting) where you get the disease AND the stun proc'ing off the same attack with the maggots.

Oh, that happens often enough that it's not even worth mentioning. But, honestly, if I suddenly got scurvy after being bitten by something, the fact that I got scurvy (of all diseases!) might stun me a bit.

Last time I played DD I went to face the Hag, 1st battle was with 4 maggots, 2 of them crit my highwayman back to back for,18 damage a piece, sent him to deaths door with blight, and on his first turn the blight tic gave him the deathblow. It's been about 2 weeks and I don't plan on going back anytime soon Lol
