sometimes, even DM fans like myself, dont listen to them for a period of time and when we hear them back again, we're amazed at how good these guys were and still are. Amazed. They transport you to their world with only a few notes, you're instantly there. Isnt that the definition of a drug? I guess they're a musical drug, but a drug that makes you stronger

I dont like all songs, but the older ones, like behind the wheel, let me close my eyes and dream from better days. I would love to hear them as loud as possible, feel the drums in my body. I think, ive you loved them once, they stay in your mind, come back when you realy need something and help you. Its realy like a drug (soory for german english + to mutch words)

As a kid growing up in the USA I was always impressed by the promotional images and videos of Depeche Mode, just hanging around in various beautiful European locations. So much so that I immigrated to Europe in 1991 and have never looked back. I'm living the european dream every day, thank you depeche mode.

Beautiful and haunting cinematography
Wow, when they remade this classic, we were sold. Their version is truly the best out there and so amazing. We loved the 80s, DM music, we enjoyed them in numerous concerts and just love that entire era of music, but this song, is absolutely so uplifting and so good. Timeless song, remade several times, but DM version is incredible. Used it in one of the shorts, because loved it so much and still love it.

Their videos are so captivating and cinematic, which just adds further to the soundscapes. Definitely hearing their well-documented German influence in the mechanical rhythms. TRULY GREAT

Depeche Mode is such a great band and so underrestimated amongst rock bands. What started as an electric pop band really evolved in one of the great rock bands of the last decades. And my God yes what a singular and great voice. I would love your input on the first video of my first album. Been a diehard DM fan since 1984 when I was 11, witnessed their highs and lows and I’m telling you, their music NEVER gets old. Like all great works of art, there’s a timeless quality to their music and I can bet you a brick to London, if Beethoven or Bach were around, they’d be digging this as well.

I am 14 and have very little money in my pocket. I buy very few records at the time of release. The very first is certainly Music For The Masses. I've seen the superb videos by Anton Corbijn and can't absolutely live without having this record at home. I play it HUNDREDS of times, never ever get tired of it. It gets better and better with each listening. I always have this music in my head even when I'm not playing it. It's the soundtrack of my teenage
