For people that weren't around when this album was out and even a few years before it is hard to explain just how huge Depeche Mode was and had become. I’ve been a Depeche Mode fan for 10 years my dad used to listen enjoy the silence all the time he’s a big fan of Dave he loves his personality a lot especially when he performs live, from my side I’m a big fan of Alan wilder, in my opinion he was the MAN behind all the success of Depeche Mode. Fun fact: every week my dad religiously puts on tv a performance by Depeche Mode in KZhead at full volume😂. I’m glad this band was introduced to my life, they are and will be the best band ever.

And my God yes what a singular and great voice. I would love your input on the first video of my first album. They are top indeed and you know whats especially... ''funny'' (is the word im lookin for perhaps) about that fact? Genre of the music isnt important when we dealing with the greats. The Greats last through time as masterpieces of art. Cannot say the same about most of the garbage modern day ''stars'' are letting out. They may be popular right now but, few years in the future they are forgotten. DM still keeps going after many decades of performance and they keep going long after they are dead and buried. Another little detail is the fact that their songs can be played in most places, be that a bar, a restaurant, supermarket or elevator. I havent noticed the same trend about these ''ooh so popular village idiot'' stars that we got runnin around today.

Saw Violator tour w my bf 30 yrs ago, he sang in my ear..it was divine. I'm divorced now & he never married, works in St Croix, didn't go home for Christmas & didn't sound too good, seemed depressed, isolated. I went to see him last week, we sat on the beach in the day, & watched DM concert vids at night...it was divine♡

I like DM...I think it's possible, the Pet Shop Boys are better ?? Unless you've listened to some, most, or all PSB's songs, I think U MIGHT like them better ?? Just as I've heard 2 albums by DM...IMHO, Ya can't compare DM to the PSB, if you've never heard more than 1 song TOPS...I'm talking more than West end Girls, cuz it's the only song played a lot in the U.S. and are songs not much at all...Just saying !! About starting half way through closer to heaven slow version, you'll notice the beautiful, sweet keyboards that come in...Just comparing Violator and construction time again... World In My Eyes is their ultimate techno, synth-pop masterpiece. With the Violator album, they showed the world what electronic music could achieve. The sounds are still so futuristic and timeless..

The world in my eyes sees Depeche Mode as one of the top, all time bands, that ever walked this spinning ball of rock that we call earth!
That voice with that dark keyboard. It's golden!

Grateful for my father, who raised me listening to songs like this. Love it! ❤️
Rest in peace, Andy. And thank you for all the amazing songs 😢❤️
The music, the lyrics, the singing!!! If this one is not the best Depeche Mode song it gets really closer
Según cuenta la leyenda, esta era la canción favorita de andrew que en paz descanse...

One of my favourite Depeche Mode songs. I have the "Violator" album cover as a tattoo on my arm. The "Violator" album means so much to me and it was the first Depeche Mode that i bought. The "Violator" album will always be one of my favourite albums of all time. :) I was not alive back in 1990 when the album was released, but as a teenager the album shaped me. Now I have the album and the tattoo on my arm. The tattoo will always remind me of Depeche Mode and how much I love their music. :)
Soooo let me get this straight... you got a tattoo of the violator album... right?!
I have 3 DM related tattoos, Martin's face, ets rose, Mr Feathers. Violator was the first tour of mine, I was 7. my mom escorted me. when it comes to music/religion, my brother raised me. I have both my biggest gods, Martin and Thomas Di Leva, tattoed on my tits. I guess it would have been better on a male chest. but I'm 100% faith and devotion.
I love it all!
Me too in the left arm ! 😎
I have the Violator rose tattoo too🌹
I forgot how great this band is. This and Policy of Truth are so understated and yet intense. They don't waste a single note, and they don't overproduce the songs either. Hard to describe what makes them work so well....
+Pewien fan Gorillaz what the fuck is that supposed to mean...
+itwontcomeout5678 Depeche Mode just pulls high quality music with high quality lyrics in short

Secret Treasure Path DM have always been and will always be underrated by those who don't appreciate or understand what real music is. Their music will always be important to those who recognize them for the f'n geniuses they are. 'Nuff said.
Violator is one of the best albums of all time.
RIP Andy Fletcher. Your favourite 🌹
@christine schulze We should learn to treasure the people we meet in life, sharing intimate moments with another, regardless of the situation should not be taken for granted. Wishing you health and hapiness.
Sounds like you were never over him. Had a rough time moving on. Call him, text any form of communication just let him know you are there for him. We all need somebody to love.
Celebrating 30 years of VIOLATOR here! Who's with me!
🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
Totally! Great album!
30 years already? I was in my early twenties. Still loving this, more than ever!
The best album that came out of that era hands down. One of the top albums of all times as well imo. 💫
i certainly am..i was 14 when this album came out..ah..the memories it brings still after all these years!!
This Is A Synthpop Music Masterpiece. 1️⃣✌️
I never get tired of this song, it is abolutely timeless and a real piece of genious art. One of my all time favorites. I bought the single the day it came out - and the same day that I went to see DM live in Copenhagen on october the 3. 1990.
Sounds like it was made last week. It was literally mind blowing when it was released. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
NOT IT WASNT "LITERALLY" MIND BLOWING. HOW F-ING SFUPID CAN YOU GET? DO YOU KNOW WHAT LITERALLY MEANS??

Thank you Mr Wilder for these sounds you made!!!!!
That's exactly what my ears were exploding with in the 80s, ripped me apart🤗
@@atrium8609 He was inspired to this a little from the Kraftwerk Track "Musik Non Stop" for the drums.
30 лет, а до сих пор слушаю эту песню. В России DM до сих пор на заборах пишут👍 DM FOREVER
Alan Wilder Was The Sound Creator Of Depeche Mode. Without Alan Wilder DM Never Would Have Sounded Like This. Thanks For Everything Alan.! 👌
I Wonder If People Understand How Important Alan Wilder Was For The Sound Of Depeche Mode. Alan We Salute You Maestro.! ✌️
Incredible that we´re in 2018 and sounds better than the modern shit!
Think about Bach man
indeed
@@fra-kolpanzer Yeah...him, too.
@B KMaybe, but I do know this...in their time, you couldn't do anything, go anywhere....nuthin'...without hearing Depeche Mode. They were MONSTROUS....
Oh so true mate
Rattles my soul , shakes my spirit . Their music is beyond this universe .
Favorite song from Depeche Mode, The last 2 minutes of this song takes the cake , so fucking good 🤙🏼 80’s at its best .
Every time I look at Dave , the room suddenly feels hot. This has been happening more than 20 years
DM are not one of the best...they are simply the best.
Dejan Nikolić Them and Rammstein.

Take her E-Z :):)
@@CeazAmaze OK...In my opinion, Tears for Fears, is the best group ever...I admit, I've only heard Violator and Construction time again...And then, is really beautiful...Funny, I listened to the end of policy of truth and another songs end and I love them last night...I know, I should remember the name of the song :):) Then the end of yesterday when I was mad, jam and spoon mix, and said DAMN this is far better keyboard talent then the 2 endings...Also, Considering DM, has 4 keyboardists and the PSB have 1, it's impressive...I understand, Neil helps a lot w/ writing the keyboard music...He tools around most likely...Just comparing the 2 by DM and the PSB...IMHO, the pet Shop Boys win, over those two endings...Just an opinion...Not sure if the odd songs and albums by the PSB that I have are considered as U say, imported ?? 5 beatuiful songs by The PSB, are headmaster, closer to heaven : slow version, numb, flamboyant and the michael kompakt mix and young offender.. About starting half way through closer to heaven slow version, you'll notice the beautiful, sweet keyboards that come in...Just comparing Violator and construction time again... IMHO, they don't have any TRULY beautiful music except for, and then, of course...Take her E-Z :):)
The best ever is God=Lord Jesus Christ as we all will find out on judgement day.
one of the best tracks in the history of music. this one is a epic gem
RIP Fletch! Thanks for the music. You are already greatly missed! D-Mode 4 Life!!!
R.I.P Fletch 😢
Действительно вестники моды. По сей день звучит и смотрится потрясающе.
Awesome 👍😎
What I always loved about Dave is that he is so authentic, and all what he shows when he is performing is nothing else than his own enjoyment.. He's in his element, such an inspiration to embrace the whole experience of being ourselves, no judgement, no shame, open to the world. I believe we can all feel that if we allow ourselves to feel it! Dave, my discovery and my inspiration. Every time this song is played I go away from this planet.
PAdme, beautifully written, Thank you. I feel the same, I have been to 2 concerts. He is a saint
Padme Dance He loves performing live. They did 101 concerts for the Music for Masses tour in 1986-87. It will be cool to see them perform at their Rock and Roll HOF induction.
It's exactly what I think about them
He could and should have been an actor
Lets face it.. you wanna bone him
Alan Wilder Was The Sound Creator Of Depeche Mode. He Made The Music Groove. 👈 A Music Genius Who Shall Be Saluted. 🙌
I love Depeche Mode. My favourite song of theirs. Part of my childhood and always with me. I’m sure many Gen X ers would agree. Sensual, smooth and dark; DM take you such a beautiful trip. Rest in peace Mr Fletcher. Such a talented man. May he rest in peace with the angels. X
This song incorporates every drop/taste of DM. I don't think they have something else more defining than this song. Still great after 30 years
Depeche Mode is such a great band. What started as an electric pop band really evolved in one of the great rock bands of the last decades. And my God yes what a singular and great voice. I would love your input on the first video of my first album. It got the attention of one of my heroes Joe Bouchard (ex bass player founding members of BÖC) but returns from people who likes same music is always the best. If you have just 3 minutes to listen and a bit more to comment, that would mean the world to me kzhead.info/sun/jK6qndeQm2qHe2w/bejne.html&t
30 years of Violator?? Wayy ahead of its time. Re-released now it would be a smash hit next to the shit we have today. Timeless wonder and one of my favorite DM hits. Reminds me of my college days.
This song never gets old.

👍👍👍
Лучший альбом!
Absolutely 💯 my favorite as well
И для меня лично !
Great choice
RIP Andrew Fletcher. Love DM.
MY GENERATION 1990😂😄😢 I NEVER FORGET THIS TIME. I LOVE DEPECHE MODE👍👏💙
