  • This is another one of my feature-length city guides that took weeks to make, so if you have enjoyed this video or found it useful, please share where you can. It’ll take you a just few seconds, but it helps me out massively! The map shown in this video can be download here: www.romawonder.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Rome-Orientation-City-Map.pdf If you need any help or want to ask questions, leave them as a separate comment below. 😀

  • Great video! For sure! I'm Italian and I want to give you a couple of tips: an Italian open street market Is made to sell fresh vegetable and fruit for lunch (it's a rule followed everywhere here, so it's Better you go to Campo dei Fiori in the morning). You've visited the Stadio Olimpico, but at its side you find the Stadio dei Marmi (stadium of the marbles) which Is absolutely stunning even if It was built during the Fascist Era. And if you stay longer don't miss EUR neighbourhood

These practical tips will undoubtedly help first-time travelers planning a trip to this beautiful city to better prepare their itinerary. • I've been to Rome 4 times and I can never get tired of it. The food and gelato are just out of this world! If you want the best gelato in the world, you MUST go to Giolitti, which is near Via Del Corso. Every time I go to Rome, I go there at least two or three times a day! I fell in love with about 10 flavors. Going to Rome without going to this gelateria is an absolute crime. Then there's a restaurant at Piazza Del Popolo called Dal Bolognese. They specialize in mouth watering pasta that's just absolutely great, but you have to make a reservation before going there. Yes, Rome is the greatest city in the world!

    @johnadkins5560@johnadkins5560 Жыл бұрын
    • Yes I totally agree! I don't believe I ever went into Giolitti, my go-to places for gelato are Fioco Di Neve and The Gelatist. To be honest, I think anywhere in Rome serves good gelato. I'll have to remember Dal Bolognese for the next time. Thanks for the pointers and for stopping by 😀

      @UltimateBucketList@UltimateBucketList Жыл бұрын
    • @@UltimateBucketList Oh ok. I never heard of Fioco Di Neve or The Gelatist, but I'm sure they're also good. Rome is overrun with good restaurants and gelaterias, but trust me, you'll love Giolitti. Frigidarium is another good gelateria. I recommend them, too, but Giolitti is the champ. Check them out the next time you're in Rome.

Just as a side note, I was traveling in Europe (I think Amsterdam) and was at a street car stop and each car stopped, the driver looked at me, but then DID NOT open the door and left! Later a person told us that WE had to hit the button on the car and that opens the door! The driver does not open it,and they just assumed that we were not going to board!! That's why I'm talking about the "little things" ... Rick Steves (it was decades ago) didn't mention that stuff!! Thanks again!

    • Thanks very much, I'm happy this video helps you plan your trip to Rome. As for specific hotels, I don't have specific recommendations. But if you're after a premium hotel, the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi is just outside Repubblica station, I walked past this one a lot and it seems to be popular with upmarket folk and celebrities etc. It has a rooftop pool and everything. Can you please let me know if there are discounts for children travelling with parents in Italy via local transport (like buses and trams), if we buy the daily pass or tickets for individual trips within the city. Also, would you know if the train journey from Roma Termini to the Fumicino airport (leonardo), is covered under the Eurail pass.

    @imranmaljee@imranmaljee7 ай бұрын
    • I never used any app to purchase tickets. I either went to the official website or to the respective ticket offices. There are several apps / inclusive tickets that cover most of Rome's attractions that you can buy. The main three are the Rome Tourist Card, the Roma Pass and the GoCity Pass. You'll have to look at what they offer and see if that works for you.

It is full of interesting things to see and tourists arrive every day from all over the world. it is a lively square in the hearte of the city , it is not a jewel inside a casket, it is normal that after the wonderful market (which all the guides recommend seeing) the square still needs to be cleaned..the same thing for the spanish square, it's a masterpiece for the whole world.. it's incredible to hear these things

  • Video molto bello! Complimenti. ) Galleria Nazionale di arte moderna (Canova, Appiani, Romney, Raeburn, Hayez, Courbet, Monet, Cézanne, Degas, Van Gogh, Rodin, Bourdelle, Sorolla, Medardo Rosso, Fattori, Lega, Segantini, Klimt, Schiele, Boldini, Modigliani, Boccioni, Balla, Carrà, Morandi, De Chirico, Braque, Kandinskij, Klee, Mirò, Tamayo, Dix, Grosz, ecc.ecc.
