    • Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll be doing more itinerary videos so please stay tuned. After years of helping tourists with their itineraries when we had our B&B in Rome, I know that there are many different types of visitors, and I try to let make the itinerary good for everyone. I also know many people try to pack in too much and can get tired out, which is why I default to a slower pace and less stuff, but give you the option in case you find the time and energy for more! I'm glad you find that, and my maps, helpful!

We decided to spend an evening doing a twilight food tour in Trastevere as we’ve been to Rome many times and skipped the major sites this time. The Borghese Gallery was a real highlight for me as was Piazza Del Popolo. We used your KZhead video as we toured Largo Argentina. It was very helpful and informative. That was a fantastic site! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

  • I just got back from Rome. I live in Spain. Thank you for everything. You really helped me plan a perfect visit. One suggestion of topic for a video : Tiramisus. I planned my Tiramisù experience using Tik tok and it was a great adventure. I tried some homemade ones at the restaurants I ate.. I also went to 101 tiramisus and Pompi. It was a lot of fun and I'm sure you'll have fun making this video as well. My favorite one was a Nutella and pistachio Tiramisù I had at 101.. For the mixture of flavors. The second one was at Armando al Panteon, the texture was amazing! Thanks again!

    • Thank you so much. I'm glad you understand me. If you like, you can turn on subtitles and set them to Spanish. They may not be perfect because they are AI generated but they can do a pretty good job! Yes, I have a page about this on my website: www.romewise.com/rome-transportation.html Taking the bus is easy and convenient! Just get a pass for the time you will be here (1, 3- or 7 day), and use your phone (Google maps is connected to Rome's public transportation system ATAC) to figure out which buses you need to get from point A to point B. Have a wonderful trip!

  • Do you have a video with suggestions of things to do when arriving in Rome after an all night flight from the US? We plan to leave our luggage at our hotel until check in time, have brunch and walk, walk, walk to stay awake and fight jet lag. Maybe a food tour, a garden, museum? Our hotel is near the Spanish Steps.

    @tammywillo@tammywillo6 ай бұрын
    • That's a great idea for a video! Believe me, as an American who flies back home 1-2x a year, and as someone who ran a B&B (with my husband) here in Rome for nearly 20 years, I know exactly what it's like to arrive in Rome on those early arrival flights, get to your hotel in a jet-lag haze, only to try to figure out what to do for the next few hours until your room is ready. I do not recommend a food tour as this will not be enjoyable and you will likely not really remember anything. I also would avoid a museum. I think walking outside is the best thing, to keep you awake and to keep you feeling minimally refreshed. But you are right, it's a good idea for a video and I'll add it to the list!

  • Which tour has breakfast?

    @davidwillers652@davidwillers6522 ай бұрын
    • This is an excellent tour that includes breakfast AND the shortcut to Saint Peter's Basilica. Please note that there are no longer tours that access the museums before opening hours with a pre-opening breakfast. You'll go in right at the opeming at 8AM, enjoy a buffet pancake/egg breakfast in the courtyard, and then tour the museums. The huge bonus is being able to take the shortcut from the Sistine Chapel into Saint Peter's Basilica. gyg.me/wbPQdZy0

  • I’m coming to Rome in two weeks time is it safe with all the Riots going on getting very worried because I’m taking grandchildren

    @bevrleygreen3900@bevrleygreen39006 ай бұрын
    • There have been a few demonstrations but no riots. We always have a large security presence in the form of police, carabinieri, and the military, due to the fact that Rome is the capital and full of government facilities and embassies from around the world. It is of course up to you to decide to come or not, but in general, Rome is a safe city.

    • Yes, Viator is a reliable booking agency. They are what I call a "tour umbrella" - they allow you to see lots of different tours offered by different companies so you can make the best choice for your visit. I use Viator as one of my trusted affiliates. I hope you have a great time!

    • The Romans say that a lifetime is not enough....but I know sometimes people have limited time. And while you can't see it all in 2 days, you can see a lot!

    • I am all for spending a lot of time in Rome, but many people just don't have that much time. I hope this video will help those with only 48 hours to get the most out of their visit with the least amount of stress.
