A high school band in the USA is going ahead with music rehearsals, by enclosing members in individual bubbles.
Wenatchee High School in Washington state wanted a way to allow students to rehearse safely during the pandemic - and they came up with the creative solution.
Principal Eric Anderson said the tents may be small, but they are allowing band members to play together again.

I can't be the only one who finds this deeply disturbing; I mean, hypothetically, if you wanted to mess with the heads of teenagers at their most vulnerable, how would you go about it? Would this be something you'd come up with but say to yourself "nah, they'd never buy into that!" It makes you wonder about some of the types of people who choose education as a career and their underlying motives. It can't just be the clergy and youth groups who are seen as safe haven for people of certain persuasions with hidden agendas.

Thank goodness I dropped out of uni 4yrs ago. Had plenty of time to evaluate what I need in life. Plus I wasn't that good anyway. Looking back it was a Blessing in disguise.

Those are pop-up porta potty tents that are popular with campers. It’s dual purpose if furnished with porta potties and wag bags. Plus, they get to sit down while practicing. Ahh one and a two...

i got one of these tents and fixed it so i could walk around iwith it still wore my mask but was much safer cant wait to use it again

At my school we still have choir, but are required to wear our masks. They barely affect our singing at all. We even did a prerecorded concert last December with them on and it sounded great. There aren’t that many people in band, so they can social distance while they practice. Our state says we can only practice for the first 30 minutes of class though.

This is probably these kids' only school-related clubs besides sports. IMAGINE only being able to see your friends irl in these green pods. Not being able to go to homecoming, prom, or even your own freaking graduation. I would be so depressed if I was in that situation.
