    • @Nahimmasleep yes, there are definitely my good day(s) but it'll last for less than 12 hours and the next day when I try to apply the same routine, I feel exhausted and question myself. I'm in no way to opt for a short cut because my time is limited and I'm rn at a critical stage of my life which is getting into the colleges via entrance exams. So I guess, for me, like Amy said, it's Push Through, even if I can't keep pushing. But thanks tho abt the Kobe Bryant mentality !! ✨️✨️

    • @Itsme-sv8ny I shouldn't even have thought of commenting such a thing, because when you read that, you'll probably go like, 'yeah I'm not alone' which is alright and common and too obvious to deny. But let me tell you, I've got my productive days which lasts like 5 hours and I'm sure you've got yours too. Since our problems are quite the same, let's apply the progress > pace + the old wise Chinese proverb. You've got this fella ✨️✨️

  • My husband casually told me this comment when I was starting my running journey: "You can do anything for five minutes." I now love gaslighting myself with this quote... I will tell myself I can do ANYTHING for five minutes... Ten minutes... An hour... It has really helped me in many parts of my life!

    • wait this is actually smart…if you tell yourself to do something for five minutes you’ll probably end up doing it for longer because it’s harder to start something you don’t want to do than finish it when you’re already halfway through. 💯

    • Literally! It was hard for me to even walk and talk when I was in high school, but that may have to do something with me being autistic and having to be in that chaos for 6-7 hours a day, it's overwhelming. Really hope uni will be better, there aren't any kids running around at least (where I live you stay in one building throughout the whole school, so kids go to the same school that 18 year olds)

  • "Here's some advice for all of you." 1. No matter what, do not leave social science for last moment. Too many chapters will overwhelm you at that time. 2. No need of reference books for theory subjects. If you want to use reference books or question banks then stick to any one of your choice. 3. Give sufficient time to language subjects as well as other main subjects. 4. Weekly revision is vital. 5. Study atleast 2 hours a day. 6. Do not compare yourself with others and don't let them demotivate you. 7. Make sure to have proper food diet so you have energy to work. 8. Pay attention in lectures. 9. You can refer to other people's note but make your notes for yourself. 10. Prepare for tests properly.

  • To anyone struggling with studying and mental health: be gentle to youself, try to appreciate every little progress. Try to really rest even if that may be hard for you, it will get better. Try to reduce screen time, move your body, even if it's just a little walk. And try to look at the things you need to learn with curiosity instead of pressure. Also I recommend watching this video: “how to study, when you are struggling with mental health” by fayefilms. All this can be very hard if you're struggling, I find it really hard very often. But dont give up and think you're just lazy or beat yourself up for not being good enough. You are good enough! You're brain just keeps telling you otherwise. Try to make little changes in your routine and your mindset. It's not a quick fix but it can definetly change your life, little by little! Good luck with you journey!

  • One of the best ways to get better at something is to teach it to someone else, so I have a *CHALLENGE* for you 👀 Find one comment with a study problem and reply to them with YOUR solution. When you do this over and over again, you will be able to solve your own problems easier and improve your critical thinking. Be an *active* member of the A-Team to go further! I believe in you 💪

  • Personally, the go-to for me is the non-negotiables. I haven't yet integrated them in my life, but I feel they will be a good choice if you can not prioritize your task accordingly. I also struggle with focusing in class. I have a lot of distractions, such as birds flying outside of the window, or the teacher dropping a pen, or my classmates whispering about something. And I have friends who like don't study at all, which is not convenient because they also distract me. I also often found that playing with my phone is causing me more stress than simply taking a nap or doing something creative, like making a picture out of pieces of colorful paper or sewing. I think I'm going to watch more of your videos. But in the meantime, I have to make my non-negotiable list😊

  • After watching your last video i took some step towards self improvement and deleted instagram, twitter and even whatsapp and my youtube screentime is also low..... i now tend to be more productive and i draw ,read ,go for a walk ,cook or bake instead of being on my phone all day, the first 2 days were kinda easy as i was so motivated but as days went by my motivation started to dissappear and i wanted to download everything again but I'm glad i didn't and now i find it sm more peaceful this way Since then i tried to study everyday too but i kinda failed I'll start again from tomorrow morning but im kinda proud that i was able to reduce my screentime sm gotta work on the studying everyday part tho I just wanted to thank you your tips helped me alot ❤

    • WOW I'm SO SO proud of you! Take it easy on yourself. Don't expect things to happen overnight. Great job being strong to not redownload the apps. Just focus on not downloading them again and you're already doing great!

  • i'm usually too tired to rest actively, i only have energy for watching youtube for an hour or 2 hours to start feeling better. i wish i would not get so tired after school. i wake up at 5:30 every day and come home at 14:30 or at 16:20, i am just not able to do sports or take a nap.

    • I have a super similar schedule to you! And similar feelings; I find that when I have one day of 0 homework, or very minimal (usually Saturday or Sunday), I’m much better during the week. Also if you can meet with friends one day a week it could help a lot! Ik it fluctuates a lot though, so try to be understanding with yourself :)

  • . It seems that when I am a pharmacy student I watch your videos 😊 Thank you for your wonderful and useful advice I want to point out something, which is just to define the amazing mental potential of memorization and concentration, which does not depend on misleading words and lines, but on imagination, everything that the subconscious mind imagines is imprinted in the form of images that it never forgets This thing helps more remembering information and in addition to self-confidence to accomplish the goal and insist on it and The reason for not remembering things or not being able to study can be due to depression. It is due to vitamin D deficiency and here you must see a doctor to solve the problem and thanks 😊

  • Heyyy Amy!!! I have my summer breaks now and I have started learning coding .I was feeling discouraged because everyone around me has a good knowledge already I always have the feeling that I will be the dumbest in the room. I feel I can get through this and be better. By the way Can you give some tips on how to understand concepts well so you can never forget them instead of memorising Love you Amy thank you for always considering everyone equal Can someone please give any tips!!!

    @mkanandkumar7472@mkanandkumar747224 күн бұрын
    • You can try this 4 step layering process for *actually* understanding instead of memorising- 1.Priming - just do a little bit of research about the topic . How it works and how it connects with other concepts in that chapter( don't make notes, just give it 15 minutes before lectures , maybe make mindmaps if it helps ) 2 .Learning - now you learn about the topic through the lecture or textbook , however you do (here you make notes). 3.Review- this is to review immediately after the study session , or after school or next morning. 4.Revision- now revise the concept after under 3 days , and then just keep reviewing in some time intervals like a week then month . Basically the idea is to learn in layers . First you develop the outline and then you put the information brick by brick , so that the whole thing makes proper sense and stay on the place. Hope it helps,, this is my study system and it works for me. Learned it from jun yuh and Justin sung btw.
