  • If you could only watch one study video, *THIS* is the one I would urge you to internalize. Comment "I choose to put myself first" if you're serious about becoming an ACADEMIC WEAPON 🔥 What is an academic weapon? No, not a bookworm, not just a straight A student. This is the cool, smart student you were always meant to be. All you have to do is choose the right path at the forking roads in the decision tree. When you choose the right path, you are *CHOOSING YOURSELF*. All the study tips in the world are *useless* if you succumb to temptations that literally cancel out your efforts. This video's mindset is the KEY to why, even with the same study tips as someone else, I can excel in school, sports, ANYTHING 10x times easier. If you're not focusing on the 3 critical crossroads, don't say you're not smart. Don't say you can't do it. Until you consistently use my advice for 3 days, don't think you need more tips. Choose to identity as an "academic weapon", embody their habits, and you will inevitably become one 🧡

Hearing these points from someone else really brings some sanity and reassurance to myself: that there are certain factors that are in my own control vs the external factors that are out of my control and that you should work with what you have with the emphasis of accelerating yourself from where you started (and look at others on what they have and self victimize :))

Contrary to that, though, I cannot focus if I go straight from school to homework; my mind is too overloaded and tired from school to do homework well. • It's my last year in ks3 and i'm soon starting ks4. I'm not the greatest student, I do excel in certain things like humanity subjects, English, Math; but I do struggle with subjects like chemistry and physics, and second language subjects. I have been facing a lot of issues with self-worth and my future. This video is a boost for me, it brings me motivation. I've always tried to fit in, but now I realize, I'll get nowhere by following others. I've always been a bit jealous of those who have such extremely good grades, excelling at everything; while I struggle to be better at my weaknesses. Thank you so much!

  • Hi Amy! I'm a bit late but I wanted to share a success! So for context, my teacher marked our books and gave us a few minutes to look at the feedback. I noticed a lot of people just talk and play around, but I remembered your tip on looking at feedback. As I looked through the book I noticed 5 merits for 'great reflection and improvement'. Now this isn't very special but I thought this might encourage people to use feedback efficiently and really internalise it. Remember all this feedback and Spaced repetition prevents those 5 hour study sessions. Stay well Amy! ( your makeup looks gorgeous!!)

  • hey amy!!! I choose myself first!!! ❤❤❤thanks for the great video! i was wondering if you could do a vid or a series where you talk a bit about your experiences with AP classes and AP tests. in many of your videos, you mention you have received a 5 on many AP tests, which is impressive! mind lending some insight on how to study for a five on an AP exam, and things to do in class to learn and strategize better? it would be helpful! thanks for your hard work and help in making all of us stronger academically and mentally!

    • Hiii! Thanks for watching and for your support ♥️ I think the idea that you can see throughout my videos is that success in school comes holistically. So for 5s on AP exams (especially since there are so many different subjects), my advice would be to watch videos like this: kzhead.info/sun/apeJZdJ-oHOLnn0/bejne.htmlsi=YH4-QMILT54QHuYl AND I actually have a really awesome video coming out next week with tips like how I prime my brain before class to learn better and faster :) That will surely help you as well because I used my strategies when I was preparing for the AP exams every year! I'm looking forward to hearing what you think in that upcoming video :)
