  • In the defense of Bill McReynolds weird connection to JonBenét, losing a child in such a tragic way as kidnapping is absolutely traumatizing. Receiving kindness from a little girl that likely reminded him of his stolen child when no other child had done such a kind thing for him before, would very likely touch his heart in a way that he would feel a fondness that many may perceive as odd. I say this having know several people who lost one of their children in tragic ways, my parents included, all of which have always felt a fondness for those who remind them of their lost children, even if they may not actually know each other well.

    @mjpretzel5354@mjpretzel5354 Жыл бұрын
    • @emimia I acknowledge his behavior is deemed strange and even inappropriate to many, but that does not mean he’s actually done anything harmful. You are entitled to your opinions just as I am entitled to mine, but please don’t be disrespectful to those who have suffered mental and emotional trauma such as Bill McReynolds. Calling a man with, likely, very difficult mental and emotional struggles a ‘creep’ is rude and uncalled for, so please be more respectful in the future as you never know the full story behind a persons actions; just as I don’t know the exact reason you react in such a way.

Now watching as a 17 year old, I just realized the horrifying and likely possibility that it was her own family who killed her. 13 year old me could have never even imagined such a terrible thing, but it's so glaringly obvious now.

  • JonBenét was without a doubt murdered by someone who lived in that household. I'm sorry but there's just no way you wouldn't run around every part of the house looking for your daughter. I think her brother did it and the parents covered it up for him because they didn't want to lose both children. Who would write such a long ransom note, in the house and then kill JonBenét anyway? Just makes zero sense.

He lost a daughter and being given a gift by a little girl maybe broke his heart a little because it reminded him of his own child that he lost, and then hearing that the little girl who gifted you something was brutally killed would break him further. I think it's sweet, he just wanted to remember her.

    • Another theory is that the mom allowed her daughter to be sexually molested by pedophiles (that's what child beauty pageants are for after all), and then flew into a rage with the girl, knocked her out and accidentally killed her. But the whole family is so messed up, any one of them could have done it.

    • This may be an unpopular opinion, but I don't think the family was involved. I think their treatment of JonBenet probably wasn't the best. However, in the US we have a system of justice based on evidence. The evidence proves that the family wasn't involved. The DNA doesn't match any of the family. The handwriting tests, at best, are inconclusive. The evidence doesn't support that anyone already in the house murdered her.

  • I hate the fact that she was literally molested but SA wasn’t really mentioned in the news about how she died. It wasn’t mentioned because she already had vaginal damage that pointed to her being sexually assaulted in the week up to her murder (if not for a longer period of time). So because she already had older signs that pointed towards SA, it isn’t mentioned anywhere that she was most likely also molested in relation to her murder. I also read an article that said she was molested by her attacker but that the attacker wiped her clean before leaving the scene.

Even lots of women victims I've heard unfortunately met their brutal death by participating in beauty contests like this. It will be unnecessary attention from rapists or murderers who's victims most likely women. It's so easy to lure them that's they might know your personal stuff. I don't recommend children like that age should participate in beauty contest even child actors catch the attractions of pedophiles or people who have an unusual obsession! It's so risky for a child like that who can't even save themselves from an attack. It's too dangerous for a child even for a teenager!

Also a thing that is really creepy how literally ANYBODY can go and watch these pageants and just record these kids. They should just throw the whole thing away.

One of the theories I've heard in another video suggested the mom was really dolling her up and all to live through her and feel young and pretty again, but then when she started getting too much attention and praises she actually grew so jealous and bitter she killed her.

Unless they're in the house watching everything you're doing. It would have been time to search the house from top to bottom, searching everywhere for intruders. Also "provoke" means "to bother", how would Mr. Ramsay bother them if he doesn't know them or know where they are? 3) The ransom was the exact same as his christmas bonus. That's little more than a drop of water in a bucket, he was a multi-millionaire and they're asking for just his Christmas bonus? 4) We are a small foreign faction... That's not intimidating at all. Most kidnappers / Terrorists make themselves sound threatening. We represent a group of multi-national terrorists... we're a group of hired assassins... not a small group 5) Most of the language used was taken from the movies Dirty Harry and Speed,

  • There was more information that they left out. There was a bowl in the kitchen that either had pineapple or remnants of pineapple. Burke, the 9-year-old brother, his prints were on the bowl. JonBenet's autopsy showed that she had pineapple in her stomach -- meaning that JonBenet ate pineapple shortly before she died as it was one of her favorite snacks. It's speculated that Burke, who had a propensity for violence since he struck JonBenet with a golf club in a fit of rage in the past, struck and killed his sister, and his parents covered it up, as that Patsy's 9-1-1 call was suspicious, and that John had carried his daughter's deceased body up to the family room. Granted, as annoying as it can be, most people act irrationally when something traumatic happens but idk. This case, and I'm sure everyone else agrees, is suspicious, cold, and ridiculous as it would feel open and shut with all the strange behavior, possible opportunities, some clues pointing to an individual or two. But, it's just a major headache and that the years go by with little to no leads. If Patsy was in fact not involved, I hope she's resting in peace along with her daughter.

  • For such a well-off family how could they be so lax about security when at the time there had been about 100 cases of housebreaking in the neighborhood? I can never understand that. If the theory of intruders is true then the parents were also responsible for not checking carefully whether they had locked all the doors and windows, all the possible entries to get in the house. The basement window is not secured and it's a given that you should lock the basement door before going to bed. I still doubt the family more tho. Considering that the note could be from someone who was able to know the sum of the husband's bonus, the parents should have been able to provide the police with a list of possible suspects, but they didn't do it. They weren't cooperative at all and there’s no way that that's a normal reaction.

  • Some interesting facts not mentioned in this video: - the night Jonbenet was killed the next door neighbours heard a child's scream very late - the ransom note was the longest recorded ransom note ever found - jonbenet had been to hospital over twenty times in the course of one year, all heard trauma's caused by her brother - there is evidence showing that Mr and Mrs Ramsey and Mr Ramsey's company were heavily involved in a p*** ring - They found a book on Mr Ramsey's desk about how to make someone a s** slave - Burke favourite nighttime snack was melon, there was pineapple found in Jonbenets stomach even though everyone in the family said she never ate any that night (honestly this ones not rlly evidence it's just weird that they would lie about her eating pineapple???) - in the recorded phone call Mrs Ramsey made to the police you can hear her say in the background "why did you do this?" (Or something along those lines) -as soon as the body was found Mr Ramsey moved everything around compromising the evidence, some believe this was purposeful however his grief could have also caused him to do this.

Like,she died in a total different way than it said,and way earlier than it claimed. 2: the dad was the one who 'found' her,and messed the crime scene. 3: even if he didn't do it,the Bill guy may have entered the hiuse and he and the dad killed her together. I have a bad gut feeling about that whole damned family......I feel so bad for her,may she rest in piece.

And the dad, when he found her, the basement had a lot of doors, but he specifically entered the one where JonBenet was in. And when he grabbed her, he didn't grab her like she was his daughter. He grabbed by the waist, like a doll, you would expect that he would grab her bridal style, and say "Oh my baby!" But he just grabbed her and put her on the floor to the police to see her.

  • I know this episode is several years old but let me talk to the void- The DNA that was shown to be on the unopened package of underwear in my opinion does nothing to rule out the use of DNA evidence in the case. It would be one thing if the male DNA was only on her underwear OR the pajamas, but the fact that it was the same DNA profile across both articles of clothing says to me it was from the killer. The chances that the same factory worker's DNA was transferred to both the underwear and the pajamas is incredibly unlikely. I'm not sure if we know whether they were from the same brand or not but either way it would be such a massive coincidence, to the point that it cannot be taken as evidence that the DNA in the case means nothing.
