Yacht Series released on a Tuesday and Thursday (unless something goes horribly wrong)
---
Hey Everyone - Not everyday is sunshine and rainbows onboard a yacht. Bad weather and rain hits us often and days are quite different onboard, especially with guests onboard.
A Super Yacht still needs to be moved and crew have work to do even when its wet and I hope this gave you some insight.
S U B S C R I B E to help me out and I'll see you legends on the next one.
Love Jared

  • The Jadran from Istria over Kvarner to the South in Dalmatia and Albania/Montenegro/Greece is one of the world's most beautiful spots for watersports. Whilst I was living there as an ex-pat for 10 years, I booked in excess of 10'000 NM in my personal Logbook. I gathered experiences on speedboats, yachts and fishing trawlers.

  • I was considering getting something that I (and GF) could handle without crew (we want privacy) - perhaps something up to about 50', but the combination of warnings from the GF and watching your videos makes me realise that it would be easier just to hire something with crew as and when I have the time. This would also permit a greater choice of locations (and a guarantee of good weather), and without all the stress of the long moves.

  • hey Jared I'm quite surprised you drop the anchor like that... it's the best way to wreck the marine floor when your chain tightens and other problems like arriving too close to reefs etc... I thought I saw you drop it quick until you reached the floor then going slower to put the extra chain in a other video. That's also the way I do it and rarely take back up any seaweed or damage the sea bed Anyways cool vide bru you always manage to make the day to day boat life interesting

  • I'm often at anchor on a considerably smaller classic 48' Shain (built in Seattle 1947). I also use a snub line but depending on the wind it still can rub the bow. Would have liked a closer look at the raising of the anchor and chain going into the locker. I saw a person in there hand laying the chain? Were they also washing it down as you mentioned a muddy port bottom? I wash mine while it is coming up and it's quite a trick to push the button to raise the anchor and hold the hose while laying on the deck! LOL
