You were so close when you mentioned the sash on the boxmans curisse, I thought you would notice that gatesman had returned without it. Also that would be the reason the chitsman went in after the gatesman returned to remove his curisse. Thanks for the video.

You don't need to understand any particular language in order to know that there is a trooper headed straight at you, and that you should move! What's worse is that so many thought this was funny! • The military and government establishments that involve military ceremonies bring a lot of money into the country from tourism. Many tourists come to tour various parts of UK but very often London attractions are a must visit for a day or two. Like most countries the tourist industry is a major industry from both home and foreign tourists.

These people are so freaking entitled it's sickening! Like it needs, not the guards, not the police but a further subset of a security patrol , part of the tourism staff... that would help keep the public in their place... behind some lines either actual or painted. Possibly either charge a fee for tourists or sadly discontinue such free access... maybe restrict it to go through eoth a guide. Or keep it how it is and find some ppl that just dont get it. Surely some of the guards are perfectly fine moving the public out of the way... get a little rise out of making way for the guard... mist ppl move quickly ajd respectfully, when surprised from behind... this type of response isn't the norm... thankfully...

  • The problem is that many tourists or let's say people in general because even the locals are often quite blinded about this - they all often forget that they are stepping into a small world of tradition and culture and not into a theme park and this leads to more and more problems. Not just locally but all over the world. People often lack respect and unfortunately also cultural understanding, as it is often no longer taught. At least that's what I often see in the museum where I work and it's annoying. It annoys everyone who are involved in such situations.

Why don't they paint the second white line red or yellow instead of white ? Having 2 different colours for the lines will avoid a lot of confusion and it also makes it easier for police and soldiers to guide the tourists to the restricted position.

Recently I have been going back (on someone else's videos) watching the duelling training and frolics in Norfolk of the troopers and their horses. It has created a very soft spot in a corner of my heart for all here that passed out. Please stay safe and keep up the good work, love you all.

Immediately I found that I had an M-16 rifle pointed at me and a soldier instructing me to “Get off the chain”. I did not think it was the least bit funny and turned loose of that chain held up both hands where he could see them and backed up 2 paces. Maybe they should try that with the stupid Karen’s a couple of times!

What I do know is these "guards" are some of the most highly trained soldiers in the world with outstanding military careers to even be considered for that position. They deserve respect no matter what country your from. I can't imagine going to any foreign country and disrespecting its soldiers. Sounds like a good way to end up in a hospital or worse if you ask me.

  • It's inevitable that some tourists will be unaware of the 'etiquette', but I'm sure it's not as deliberate and wicked as the host of this channel tends to suggest. After all, for the tourist it's simply one of many weird and somewhat baffling customs, but for host, it's a very precious and sacred tradition worthy of respect and to be cherished.

The Guards have to carry out certain duties at certain times, and any visitors should not interfere with the ability of the soldiers to do that. How would they like it if hordes of strangers come into their place of work and got in the way, giggling and taking photos?
