    • I just wanted to commend you on the sheer quality of your videos. The image is pristine and I don’t get all dizzy from abrupt and jerky movements (like some Dogme 95 films!) Add to that your witty comments and shiny spine in addressing rudeness and I can safely state that you are the best companion for my morning coffee! Thank you for your excellent work!

    • Festen is an amazing film! Dark topics that do slap you in the face and get you thinking… We do live in chaotic times, don’t we? Art that invites self-reflection is always welcome and appreciated. Your videos showcase the good, the bad, and the ugly, if I maybe use another film reference. They do invite us to consider human behavior. I do appreciate your perspective and commentary. Thank you!🙏🏻

    • Plus the weight on a dangling leg over a horse must bother the trooper on the horse. People are so impolite and unaware of their surroundings. They get way too close to horses and troopers on the horse! I have seen troopers bump tourists away leaning on their leg.

    @MrChvic@MrChvicАй бұрын
    • Yeah my thoughts exactly. Though it's a public area, there should be railings to restrict getting too close to the guards and horses. They could still take pictures but there should be a set limit to stay within a certain foot . The public have too much access to the guards and horses and don't follow the rules even though it's posted.

  • Welcome back from Paris, John! Hope you had a good time. I'm starting to think that these horses are realizing that if they have a fit going into the boxes, or have a fit before getting in, that they'll get their wish and be led back to the stables. Horses are very smart, and clue in really quickly. My friend had a horse who would pretend to be Lame, about ten minutes into the ride. She called the vet. After checking over the horse, the vet concluded that there was nothing wrong. At least physically. It seemed that the horse had figured out that if it faked being lame, the owner would immediately return to the barn.

Officers wear them on the right and she has no cords or epaulettes of the same material, you will only find them on the officers. I assume she is a Lance Corporal bc her aiguillette is quite narrow and thin. And her horse wears the Trooper ornament (white headband) not that of the officers of the Blues and Royals (gold forehead piece with black tassel under the head).

  • Given the design of the helmets I don't think sunglasses would work however I think they would actually help them do their job better with UV taking off the glare so they could see people more clearly. Love you John, thanks for your hard work 😊

  • I simply can't comprehend why some people behave the way they do. NO manners. It's all about them. Frightening really. No wonder these kids feel so entitled and behave just the same way. I'm surprised they let that go on. Quite soon they will have to restrict access because people become too rude, and safety will be a big issue. WHY do people need a photo with their hands on the reins? It's mind boggling. People are out of control, touching things they shouldn't touch and they aren't even embarrassed. Quite the contrary. They are outraged when told what to do. That's a mirror of society really. I really can't believe what I'm seeing to be frank. London will be off the list in the summer months.

  • What an amazing visual, watching a no nonsense lady trooper, whooshing the crowd back. Aviation sunglasses should be a must for the guards, on sunny days. The chitsman in the arch facing the sun, must find it miserable. The Life Guards always look magnificent. People who want to manhandle the horses or get too close to the guards, should be charged a fee. The guards/horses are working after all, and it's not an amusement park.
