I think with the sheer quantity of visitors these days they should be required to pay for tickets in advance, which would simply allow them to walk through to the parade ground or down the mall. No petting horses or hanging around for ages annoying guards. Make it abundantly clear this is a working Military establishment not a playground for people to do and behave as they please. May give the guards and horses a bit of peace. Bless them all.

Have a military background in Canada 🇨🇦 so I had to say something that made them move quickly and watch their back, then again in 2015 with my adult children. I get that they don't interact with life the way it's lived for the majority, and that, like most cults, they feel they have special licence to behave as they do because they're special people. But you'd think that any time spent among the numbers at Horse Guard would at least make them consider if kids with shaved heads, and young boys dressed like old men, and women subdued and subjected to the status of childbearers and second class citizens is normal. They also don't seem to understand that they don't do the wider Jewish diaspora any favours at all. But they don't care about that.

There are certain groups of people who hang around the guards, ignoring everyone else, standing in front of the soldiers. Taunting them, taking multiple pictures. They don’t let any others get near for a picture and they follow the soldiers on their rounds. Why do they feel so entitled? The police need to move them along more forcefully than they do.

Many Hassids in Israel have volunteered for the IDF and have been fighting alongside their compatriots. In fact, some of the upper levels of IDF leadership were already staffed by orthodox. And others not in the military have volunteered in supportive roles, feeding the soldiers kosher banquet-style meals and providing some relief in the form of entertainment. Remember that it’s their country, not yours, and they make their own decisions which don’t need to conform to the opinions of others, any more than yours does.

I have no problem with what people choose to wear, it wouldn't be mine though. What I do mind though, is their attitude and actions while going about their business. There does always seem to be an attitude of self entitlement about certain groups of people, religious or not. These people are perfectly enacting self entitlement and intimidation, but to who? Was there the first time in 2012 with my wife waited 10min well, a group hung out, dishing out disrespectful comments. Have a military background in Canada 🇨🇦 so I had to say something that made them move quickly and watch their back, then again in 2015 with my adult children. That time, the police came over and said something to them after hearing me give them a piece of my mind.

There are certain groups of people who hang around the guards, ignoring everyone else, standing in front of the soldiers. Taunting them, taking multiple pictures. They don’t let any others get near for a picture and they follow the soldiers on their rounds. Why do they feel so entitled? The police need to move them along more forcefully than they do.

Creepy, weird, utterly rude & inappropriate. What the heck is wrong with those stalkers. Same old time & time again. I literally have 2 stop watching when I see them as they make me feel sick & so angry with their disrespectful behaviour & misplaced sense of superiority/arrogance
This group of people have been coming on a regular basis to Horseguards and behaving totally inappropriately all through the last year of "lockdown". to present day.
I have watched this same group for many months. They were ordered off grounds on St Valentines day 14th Feb 24. Now this is 28th April 24. What is wrong with them when they KNOW it is NOT THE CORRECT WAY TO ACT on MILITARY GROUND !!

I don’t like the way they spend so much time standing there staring. This man is doing his duty. The kids come over and start laughing, the whole lot are totally disrespectful!! There’s a young Jewish boy there in all his garb following behind the King’s Guard as he marched back to his place. No adult stopped the kid or spoke to him. What are the parents doing!!

Their dress lost relevance decades ago. The sooner the exemption from military service is cancelled, the better for them . Maybe they'll learn some respect.
Many Hassids in Israel have volunteered for the IDF and have been fighting alongside their compatriots. In fact, some of the upper levels of IDF leadership were already staffed by orthodox. And others not in the military have volunteered in supportive roles, feeding the soldiers kosher banquet-style meals and providing some relief in the form of entertainment. Remember that it’s their country, not yours, and they make their own decisions which don’t need to conform to the opinions of others, any more than yours does.

I am appalled time and time again by their behaviour. Infuriating and disgusting. I would happily tell this right to their faces. I would never go to their country, community and behave like this.

I have no problem with what people choose to wear, it wouldn't be mine though. What I do mind though, is their attitude and actions while going about their business. There does always seem to be an attitude of self entitlement about certain groups of people, religious or not. These people are perfectly enacting self entitlement and intimidation, but to who? There does seem to be an agenda.
These tourists are easy to spot and should be banned from the area on sight, IMO.
They came the day before he was the one wearing the brown hat. So clearly this is a fun day out for them being disrespectful to the guards. If I was there I would shout at them to move out the way so others can get photos.

These people should not be allowed in because of their arrogant behavior and rudeness towards the Guards and everyone else working there. They will only keep doing this because the people in charge are not stopping them. Please take control before it gets any worse.

They consider themselves as "the chosen ones," superior to all others, and disliked by most of their fellow Jews. They are exempt from compulsory military service in Israel because they are "pacifists." They're also exempt from paying income tax over there from what I'm told...don't see what that has to do with being pacifists though tbh!

Am I missing something? It seems these particular sect of Jewish people have zero respect or manners- they are guests. Why do they find this acceptable behaviour. I want to understand why so many of them behave like this. It’s certainly not in the Torah. Other Jewish people don’t carry on like this.

It looked like a Jewish man in a flat cap gave the Hasidic party a bit of a talking too in Hebrew and they seemed a bit shocked. I also heard one of the women speaking "Yiddish" rather than Hebrew but I am sure that they are from London. They have been told off countless times.
