I needed this video, I honestly never thought about water temperature when it came to top water , I usually think about wobd or how calm the water is , I've convinced myself to throw it in the morning and then I put it down. Appreciate the in depth topwater explanation. Going to work out the Spook style baits a bit more. The only other topwater I'm throwing in 50 degree water is a quad buzzbait and slow rolling it just to fast enough to keep the bait on top

Alex Do you use the Justin Lucas Pro model rod for buzz baits? I just picked one up for my other top water and thought it would work for that too
