This rig has saved more fishing days for me than I can count! If I was forced to give up every technique in my boat but one, the 7' 11" c rig rod would have to stay!
I don’t guess I’ve fished a proper Carolina rig but I fish a split shot 16”-24” up the line and have had good results.
Carolina rig rules! I've learned to not use the barrel swivel and just use the weight with one of those old school rubber pegs, putting a couple of beads above the weight for a little bit of clicking.
Might be time to revisit the Carolina rig and just let the process work. Admittedly a touch of ADHD cocker spaniel here. And bust out the 4.5 and 6" Lizards
🤠👍
I never throw a Carolina rig… 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
I hate the time it takes to rig up a Carolina, but DAMN it works. Really good for super hot summers in deep water. Find a school of white bass and throw a Carolina rig with a fluke. BIG bass hang out under white bass schools
